The hotel was very clean, the room was absolutely clean and quiet. The bathroom was superb. The breakfast offerred hot buffet, cold cuts, fruits, fresh breads and other fresh baked goodies like croissants and cakes, juices, milk and other stuff. The hotel is 5 min walk to a major undergroud station. But it is also convenien if you want to walk to Casa Mila on Passeig de Gracia (around 15 min), and then Casa Battlo (another 15 min). The nearest undergroud station to the hotel is called Diagonal. On the streen of the hotel and nearby there are lots of eateries.

I stayed there over the weekend with my wife and kids. The hotel is located in a very centric area, the room was comfortable and clean. They were very helpful and friendly at reception desk, as well as at the restaurant. Furthermore, they have a parking at the hotel that's easy to access.

Overall I would recommend this hotel and if in Barcelona would stay here again. My wife and son stayed here in 2008 and based on that experienced we booked the Evenia Rosello again. The hotel is efficiently run and all the staff are kind, cheerful and helpful. The hotel has basement parking which is very useful, however this needs to be booked in advance. The ambience of the hotel is welcoming and the interior design aesthetically pleasing. The cleanliness of the communal areas and the room were very good. There are well stocked fridge bars, but these refrigeration units are antiquated and do not function adequately. They keep drinks below room temperature but they do not chill them, which was disappointing particularly in August. We had read disparaging reviews about the breakfast on Trip Advisor before arriving and considering the high price, took our breakfast locally and more cheaply in a local cafe. However, the attentive staff, general efficiency, pleasant decor, comfort of the rooms and good location meant that overall we had a pleasant stay.

Room Tip: Our room had no view - only the wall of the adjacent building, so perhaps ask for a street view...

Hotel has 4 stars, it is situated close to the city center and it is pretty affordable for almost anyone. I cannot comment food because we never ate there and I don`t know is there a parking because we used taxi all the time and according to our calculations, that`s the cheapest and best way of transport in Barcelona.
