We celebrated our anniversary with a weeks stay at Hispanos 7 Suiza. Room 503 has a lovely view of the Sagrada from the huge balcony where you can enjoy your morning cafe and listen to the church bells chime. Apartment is very comfortable, quiet and elegant. Two bedrooms and bath and also a washer/dryer is a real plus. The proximity to the metro, bus, taxis, groceries and local restaurants is so ideal! 24 hr front desk with English speaking reception was appreciated too.

If you're looking to walk across the sites of Barcelona, this is the perfect place to start. It is within 2 minutes from segrada familia and a walking distance to the other sites. It is surrounded by many restaurants pharmacies and convenience stores. Our flat is equipped with washing machine and they supplied us with soap to use it. All the necessary amenities are supplied. They offer free parking.. The staff were very friendly.

My family of eight took a trip to Barcelona for Christmas. This included grandparents, thirty year olds and two teenagers! We cam across this hotel that offered two bedroom apartments and couldn’t have been more pleased. We booked two apartments. Each apartment had two bathrooms, a sitting area and a small kitchen. Perfect for our family. The beds were wonderful, the showers better than home and there was even a small terrace. Housekeeping was included. The location was near the Sagrada Familia but away from the touristy area. Restaurants, grocers and bars were all near by. The metro station was a short walk and we always felt safe. The staff was friendly and helped us with reservations and directions. We all were impressed and happy with this hotel. I highly recommend it!

Ideal option for a family of 4. We had everything we needed, washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen, indoor parking. The apartment is probably around 700-800 sq ft with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Location is excellent, right next to Segrada Familia and 30mins walk to Passeig de Gracia. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Small apartment hotel near La Sagrada Familia. Got its own garage for hotel guests, with a nice collection of veteran cars from the 1920s. The apartments were clean and tidy, with nice bathrooms, a fully functional kitchen and a veranda. The staff were helpful and friendly.

My husband and I went to Barcelona on a delayed honeymoon from Sept 12th-20th. We stayed at Hispanos Siete Suiza and can't wait to return! We absolutely loved it! The hotel has all of the amenities you could wish for in an upscale property with room size and charm of home. The rooms are all apt-style with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a livingroom, a small kitchen, a mini-bar/fridge, and a balcony. Included in our package was a Spanish-style buffet bkfast every morning! Also, the restaurant La Culpa was amazing...besides bkfast, my husband and I had dinner there 2 nights before we left and the attention to detail, service, and food was unbeatable. Although not inexpensive, the meal was definitely worth it. Also, although not a bother to us, there are a couple of things to note; there's no iron in the room and you have to pay to use it. You also have to pay to have your dishes washed (we purchased our own detergent and did it ourselves) and to use the DVD player. As I stated, not a problem for us as we used our laptop to watch a movie on a rare night in. Don't let that stop you from staying there however, as those things are quite insignificant. Another plus for this hotel is it's location. We were able to view the steeples of La Sagrada Familia from our balcony (the Cathedral is actually about a 1min walk from the hotel!) and found it a short/pleasant walk to Passieg de Gracia & Las Ramblas (both areas a couple of stops on the metro; the metro is a couple of short blocks from the hotel). All in all the hotel is top-rate. The rooms are clean and spacious enough for you to unwind after a day of sightseeing, the restaurant top-notched, the location quite superb, and the service is excellent! (especially Fernanda and Javier, they're the best!!!)

We stayed one night at the hotel prior to departure on a Mediterranean cruise. We are a family of 4, with two kids (12 and 9) travelling with us. This small hotel offered 19 apartments, each with two bedrooms, two baths and a small kitchen. It worked out great for our family, as we intended mostly to recover from the flight and be in place for the cruise. It was extremely clean, well furnished, and provided a lot of space by European hotel standards. We booked the hotel through Orbitz on-line, for a rate of 200 euros, including breakfast.
While far from Las Ramblas, the highlight was walking to Sagrada Familia Church (5 minutes) and climbing the spire--a great view of Barcelona, but something of a harrowing ascent. The hotel was also two blocks from a pedestrian avenue lined with cafes and restaurants, along with a nearby grocery store that was perfect for last minute pre-cruise purchases.
The kitchen had a small refrigerator that was stocked with a selection of beverages to purchase, but we bought water and sodas at the grocery, which worked out great. Water pressure for the showers was excellent, as were the soaps/shampoo etc. provided in each bath. The hotel was about a 25 minute ride from the airport, and approximately 15 minutes from the cruise terminal.
We would stay there again without any hesitation, and believe we made an excellent choice based on discussions with others on our cruise who spent time in Barcelona prior to departure.

We stayed at the Hispano Siete Suiza (not to be confused with the Hotel Suizo) for three nights in September, then moved to a flat in El Born, which was not ready for us right away. The place is elegant, with a receptionist and porter to greet you on arrival. We got there mid-afternoon, nothing nearby open for lunch, so were escorted to the breakfast room and to the area where snacks are displayed, the charming bartender fixed everything for us. The marble-floored, skylit breakfast room has a couple of Hispano Suiza cars displayed, it is different from anything we've ever seen. The decor throughout is high-style, modern art deco, with sinuous brass railings and frosted glass light fixtures. The apartments are top quality, they have a balcony, our faced the couryard rather than the view of La Sagrada Familia, next time I'd request that view. The bathrooms are all marble; the kitchen is well equipped, and the counters are granite. Everything is sparkling clean. It was a surprise to have to pay for the iron and board. The restaurant, La Cupola, overlooks the breakfast area, it looks elegant but we did not eat there. We found a small grocery store around the corner and bought supplies to make breakfast and dinner. There is an EXCELLENT pizza place as you head toward La Sagrada Familia, it has outdoor seating, sorry I can't remember its name. The buffet breakfast was ample and good. Lots of coffee! The only fault I personally had was the location really isn't comparable to El Born, which we found to be a much more interesting area for strolling around and absorbing the flavor of Barcelona.

The kitchen was well equipped with supplies. We cooked while there but mostly for breakfast (eggs and such) so really just needed the most basic cutlery. If I recall, spices (i.e. Salt, pepper and sugar) were not included so keep this in mind.
There are more places to choose from in the Barcelona area.
