Our friends stayed here previously and suggested we stay here while in Barcelona. I'm glad we took their advice. The extra space and multiple bedrooms were nice to have, but it was really having a kitchen with washing machine that made it worth our stay. The furnishings were a little bit dated, but we got over it pretty quickly. We loved having meals on our balcony too!

We loved the location near La Sagrada Familia -- accessible to all of Barcelona, but not in the middle of tourist central. Each night we took our son to play at the playground in front of the Sagrada Familia, which was a great way to burn off Kindergarten energy. Supermarket right around the corner and plenty of fruit and vegetable shops nearby.

Staff was cordial and check-in and out was extremely easy.

This was our first trip to Barcelona ( family with 3 kids - 2,5,7yrs), so my main concern for writing this review is the lack of comparison. However, I believe this is excellent value for money. You get 2 room with individual bathrooms, nice balcony, a kitchen with dish washer, fridge, micro, fridge (with freezer), a stove and combined washing mashine/dryer. Very compact...

I think most of what has been written is correct, and will only add what makes some difference.

1) The service is some of the best I have experienced. They speak good english, give good advices, and are willing to help you out a few more steps than what you "expected". When our washing mashine went down, they failed to fix it while we were out, but took the clothes to their central cleaning facilities and washed/dried it and it was ready for us when we came back. 10/10 on service.

2) The only item that does not get 5* from us is the beds, these are a bit too hard! (I rated them 3* on quality of sleep). Could be the spanish standard? I don't know, but I prefer "hard" beds according to norwegian standards, but this is beyond.

I will not rate the breakfast or lunch/dinner, as we didn't use this service. We prefer to prepare our own breakfast (around 07:00...) and find dinnere somwhere else.

We spent 3 nights at the hotel. The location is great. Two blocks from Sagrada Familia and metro stop. Tonight we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant, and it was excellent. There are many restaurants, coffee shops, and markets close by also. It was nice having a private balcony to sit and relax on also. The apartment is spacious enough to not feel crampe. The beds were very comfortable. The front desk was very helpful. Our only problem was our safe didn't work but when we got our room keys reset, it worked fine.

My wife and I, with our daughter, stayed here for three nights. The location is perfect if you want to be far away from the hustle and bustle, and the corresponding noise of busy neighborhoods by La Rambla and Barri Gotic/Gothic Quarter. Tucked amid a local neighborhood a block or so away from Sagrada Familia and very close to the Sagrada Familia metro stop, our two bedroom, 2-bath apartment on the top floor/5th floor (although there are 7 flights of stairs to get up their 5th floor - there is a rather spacious elevator which I used even though wife and daughter tried to guilt me into walking up the stairs on a daily basis...however, I was not opposed to walking down the stairs), with a balcony offering partial views of Sagrada Familia, was ideal. We didn't eat breakfast in the restaurant within the premises and purchased items at a nearby grocery store instead. The apartment had a small refrigerator, washing machine, dish washer and some pots and pans with dishes...but you had to either buy your own dishwashing liquid or use their "package" of dishwashing liquid and detergent for 5 Euros. They also supplied a microwave oven as well as a coffee maker, although you had to purchase their specialized coffee pods (not like Keurig) as they weren't readily available in the local market. If you like coffee in the morning, there are a few cafes nearby and a Starbuck's is a couple of blocks away by the Sagrada Familia.

Positives:
- Relatively quiet location in a residential neighborhood, within walking distance to one of the major attractions in Barcelona; very close to the metro
- Loved the 2 bedroom, 2-bath configuration for the apartment with all the amenities
- Front desk personnel were helpful, especially Eva who provided useful information for our exploration of the city and its attractions
- Clean and well maintained apartment, although there were a couple of locks for the sliding door that I had to "fix" to ensure it locked at night and while we were away.
- A safe was provided in the room for convenience and peace of mind
- Ample space, specially with the living room, dining table, kitchen, and a balcony

Negatives:
- Traffic noise can still be heard even on the top floor and even with the shutters down...would imagine traffic noise would be worse in rooms located in lower floors
- WiFi, although free, can be spotty on the top floor.
- While there is no free mini-bar, we would have appreciated some complimentary coffee pods to satisfy the morning coffee cravings (without having to walk outside to a café...and not have to settle for instant coffee)

All in all, a very good place for a family to stay in or for those seeking to stay within a residential neighborhood to get a feel for how Barcelonians "live". If you prefer a place with more nightlife, then I would suggest a place by La Rambla or Barri Gotic would be more to your liking.

The hotel was exactly what we expected after viewing the photos and information on TripAdvisor. My husband and I stayed with our two teenagers in the 3-BR/2.5 BA Royal Suite and we were all very comfortable. The Master BR was spacious and the bathrooms were wonderful. The oversized balcony with a canopy was also a nice plus. We appreciated having a washer & dryer as we were in the middle of a 2-week vacation in Europe. The location was very convenient to the Metro and the neighborhood seemed very safe. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.
