We used this hotel as our base in Paris for 4 nights and it couldn't have been better! The hotel staff was very helpful with our questions, gave us great advice on where to eat and directions on how to get there. They also were able to get us skip the line tickets for many sites such as the Louvre, the Open Air Bus and more. We had a Queen Anne Duplex room, which was just perfect - very clean, beautifully appointed in a contemporary style, comfortable beds, cozy towels, robes and slippers and nightly turn down service. We especially enjoyed a swim in the crypt pool in the evening and the complimentary tea in the afternoon. We would definitely stay here again when in Paris. It is located in the middle of numerous Asian eating places and bars and then just a short walk to other restaurants, shopping, the Louvre, etc.

Just returned from a short visit to Paris with my daughter and friend. We all really enjoyed staying at Hotel Louvois. Wonderful location, a sophisticated but sweet hotel with lovely, helpful, welcoming staff. When we checked in I thought there was a slightly strange smell in my room and the reception staff offered to change the room straight away. We moved to a room even nearer to my friend which was perfect! They also helped us with booking cabs this morning. Both rooms were extremely warm, clean and comfortable as well as being very elegant. And my little daughter slept very well even with her broken arm. The location is brilliant - walking distance to the Louvre and Musee D’Orsay and lots of cafes and restaurants very nearby. And the afternoon tea is a lovely bonus! Thank you very much from us!

Tucked away on a little square in the middle of the 2nd Arrondisssement, the Square Louvois is one of those hotels which hits the perfect balance between quality and value. The Square Louvois deserves every one of its four stars, which is quite rare. I find that most four-star hotels tend to be glorified three-star ones.
Not so here. The rooms are beautiful and truly luxurious, very similar in style, comfort and luxiury to the Hoxton hotel. Granted, the Square Louvois doesn't have all the restaurant options of the Hoxton but who cares. It also doesn't have the "if you're over 30 you're old" vibe of the Hoxton. It's less hip, but as a result more laid-back, discreet. The hotel also boast very quiet rooms (quite rare in Paris), quite spacious for Parisian standards.
Perfect for a romantic or business trip, great location. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. It felt like coming home every evening. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and the Square Louvois certainly comes at the top of my list. You could easily pay twice as much for the same service.
A lot of hotels fail on the quality of breakfast, and on this point I can't comment on account of Covid restriction preventing full operations.

I have been to Square Louvois several times since i first got to know it in 2017. It is not a hotel. Square Louvois, even in these challenging times where distancing - whether social or physical - is required, feels like home: the place to be when in Paris and a happy, smiley, efficient and supportive family.

The staff in the house is service-minded, proactive, talkative and discreet, at the right moment in the right way. The management is present and highly supportive of their staff, which is not always the case and tells a lot about the place you are visiting. Communication is efficient and pragmatic yet very high end and personalized.
Rooms at Square Louvois are bigger than Parisian standard rooms, clean, cozy and beautifully decorated. Curated common areas reflect the character of the house and play a part in what is already a warm and friendly welcome every time you enter Square Louvois. Both breakfast and the afternoon tea, this last included for all guests, are a convivial and pleasant moment when to enjoy good food and kind service. The house is in the centre of the 2nd arrondissement, next to some of the most interesting sights and in one of the best areas for foodies and social people, yet very quiet. The hotel also offers a wellness area, with a beautiful swimming pool in a cozy natural stone Parisian basement, which is definitely a pkus for a Parisian Boutique Hotel!

I am looking forward to visiting Square Louvois again and definitely recommend it!

Right off the top, the staff at the Hotel Square Louvois (HSL) was amazing and treated us with nothing but great service and warm kindness. Everyone from the front desk, to the kitchen staff, to housekeeping were very accommodating and we have nothing but great things to say about them. The room we stayed in, St. Anne, was very cozy and comfortable enough for a family of four. Here’s a tip if you choose to stay here. The loft has a window that has a view of the Eiffel tower so at night you have a magical view of it. Breakfast service every morning from 6 to 11 am offers quite a lot with both hot and cold items. Tea time service daily from 3 to 6 pm allows you to unwind with a cup of tea or coffee with a few things to bite. Hotel design is chic with a flair for modern and classical that just blends well. Modern amenities in your room and the only one we’ve seen with a towel bar warmer and embedded TV screen in the bathroom mirror! Quel surprise! Needless to say, we will return to Hotel Square Louvois on our next trip to Paris, right in the heart of the 2nd arrondissement. Merci beaucoup HSL!

This was the first time that I visit Paris, and the second time for my fiance. The first impression was that the location of the hotel was great, central location, but not located on the noisy mainstreet. The hotel is modern and clean, and the staff is professional and friendly. They made our stay more pleasant then we could expect. A special thanks to Youssef at front desk who made us feel really welcomed to the city and the hotel.

The only negative I can say is that I personally think the rooms are quite responsive, but It is an old building as most buildings in Paris so that might be a common ”problem”.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Square Louvois at the end of August. The hotel is located centrally with walking distance from the Louvre, Gallerie Lafayette and other sites. Lots of Japanese and Chinese restaurants in the area!
The hotel is nice and quiet. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. Check-in was super efficient, and again the staff were really nice and relaxed. We got the toiletries plus coffee and tea in a paper bag which was something new to me. Might have something to do with the current Covid situation. Not a big deal though and when we needed more, it was just to ask. We were asked if we wanted to use the pool, but that was not the case. If so we would have needed to book a time slot.
The room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable, and could really not hear any noise from outside. Must say all very nice! There was a mini bar, but that was empty. I'm not sure if this again has to do with the Covid situation or that is just how it is. We bought some drinks and snacks from a shop ourselves and used the mini bar as cooler.
The only slight thing I would have to say about our stay was the breakfast. After reading several reviews from others, we were rather disappointed with the rather limited choices. We honestly expected more, but again could have something to do with the Covid situation.
Would we return? Yes we would! Certainly not because of the breakfast, but because of everything else!

We were welcomed very friendly and warmly as if we were queens. The service was very good and we had a lot of laughs with Youssef of the reception. De rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast delicious, especially the soft boiled eggs of Vincence.
We will be back for sure.

Great hotel, great location.
We stayed here for a romantic getaway from 30th Dec 2022 - 2nd Jan 2023.

The hotel is in a great location and within walking (or electric scootering distance) of most of the sights and attractions.

We stayed in the superior room on the 3rd floor which was great, the bed was super comfy which is always hit and miss when staying away.

They hotel also have a breakfast area in the lobby which they offer free teas / coffees and cake in the afternoon which was great.

The only small issue we had was the underground pool which was one of the main reasons for booking the hotel, it was not very warm so we couldn't stay in it too long.

This hotel has been an amazing experience in Paris.

Location :
Very good location right in the center of Paris, within walking distance of all tourist attractions.

Check in :
A small glitch in the booking made the check in process a bit difficult though the staff was very polite.

Room :
The room was amazing ! It was spacious (rare in Paris !), well decorated and the bed was perfect. It was just not perfect for noise insulation, we could hear the street at night (at a very acceptable level though. and the street is calm)
The room is also lacking a few more power outlets.
We had a small problem with the TV but the staff has been very helpful with it

Bathroom :
It is rare for us to find a bath in hotel rooms. This one was quite big which was great.

Breakfast :
Breakfast was very good. The service was a bit slow. We would have appreciated tables for 2 (there was only table for 4 or 6 which we had to share with others)

Afternoon snack :
Original and much appreciated moment in this hotel ! The cakes were all good.

Pool :
Calm, clean. It is a luxury to be able to enjoy such moments in Paris. Loved it !

Est il possible moyennant un complément d’avoir un early Check in dans la matinee car notre avion atterri tôt ?
Answer from HotelSquareLouvois
Paris, France
Bien cordialement Inga
