I chose this aparthotel on the basis of tripadvisor reviews and was not disappointed. My wife and I took our Mothers for the weekend of 17th and 18th March (it being Mothers Day). We stayed only one night with the aim of spoiling them so the main aims were to stay somewhere that felt luxurious and to have an area to chill in before the evening meal and the next morning.

And that was exactly what we got at Hispanos Siete Suiza. Having two bathrooms was great, but for us the lounge area was the biggest hit. We also had a balcony with a view of the top of the Sagrada Familia (room 504) which was nice. The apartment was clean and well decorated.

We ate at their restaurant La Cupula on the Saturday evening and had the tasting menu (45 euros for six courses) which I thoroughly recommend. It's a very original setting as well with 1920's cars all around you and a glass-roofed area with trompe l'oeil murals.

As for Barcelona itself, Gaudi was a hit with all of us. We went to the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell and La Pedrera all of which all four of us rated very highly. A taxi is best to Park Guell - especially with two ladies in their 70's in the group! - as it's a fair way out of town and at the top of a steep hill. Sagrada Familia is only 100 yards from the hotel, while La Pedrera is two metro stops away.

We also went to the Picasso museum but weren't impressed as we're too traditional to appreciate his kind of art. Probably enjoyable if you're into his style though. La Rambla was a disappointment but perhaps it's better in the Summer.

The T-10 is definitely the best ticket for getting around. Ten trips for 6.90 euros, and multiple people can use it.

Beware of pickpockets and bag-snatchers - a girl tried to take my wallet from my pocket on the metro, and about an hour later (despite taking care) my mother had her bag snatched in one of the small roads just off La Rambla. A lad of about 16 pushed her over, grabbed the bag and was off and gone with it before anyone could react. Lucklily she wasn't hurt though she was shaken by it.

Excellent location 3 minutes walk from Sagrada Familia and Sagrada Familia metro station. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and there two bathrooms, the apartment spotlessly clean and spacious with good wardrobe storage and according to the girls the hairdryer was so good they wouldn't have brought theirs from home if they had known. The kitchen has a microwave, Fridge, dishwasher and washing machine and they even supplied a welcome packThe staff were very friendly and made you feel very welcome, they are there 24 hours a day should you need them. There is also a restaurant and gym with a swimming pool also included( When traveling from the airport you will need the L9 Sud orange line to Collblanc then change to L5 Blue Line towards Vall d' Hebron, cost approx £4.00 each, took about 35 minutes). Loads of local cafe's bakeries and restaurants nearby with a supermarket around the corner, askat reception and they will give directions. All in all we would highly recommend this apartment and look forward to returning at some point.

We were here for 7 days as a family of 5. We took a cab from the airport which as approximately 45-50 Euros.

We really liked the fact we had 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. My son slept on the trundle bed in the living room and my 2 daughters took the other bedroom with my wife and I taking the other one.

The kitchen was well equipped and we made breakfast every day to start off the day. There was a big supermarket around the corner and a little convenience store down the street where we would pick up some items when we got back late.

The apartment is really close to Sagrada Familia (5 mins). There are a bunch of eateries along Ave Gaudi and a number of coffee shops in the area where we would grab pastries, coffee and hot chocolate with churros. Metro is also close by and convenient. We used the T10 pass all the time. You could also walk everywhere if you felt like it which we did a few times.

The staff in the apartment were very hospitable and friendly. We had a minor issue with the dishwasher which was addressed promptly. One drawback to our room was it overlooked the courtyard backing on to other residences and the 1st night we were there, a party was going on past midnight so it was pretty loud. However, that was the only night we had that happen.

We would go back to the place in the future.

Had a lovely long weekend here. Got 2030 flight from Gatwick on Friday night; plenty of taxis around even at 11PM in Barcelona, the ride cost about 25 euros.

Apartments are five minutes walk from the Sagrada Familia. You could see the towers clearly from our balcony. Balcony was nice.

The apartment had two nicely-sized bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lounge/diner area. It was very clean. The beds are very firm but you are only staying for a few days that wouldn't be a deal breaker. No UK channels on the TV so take a book. The air con was temperamental, so we had windows open. The road outside can be very noisy even in the middle of the night, there are dustbins right opposite and unlike in the part of the UK we live, rubbish is collected regularly.

There are several small and large supermarkets nearby and lots of bakeries. The area felt very safe even late at night.

I think 3 nights cost us nearly £500; but the extra bedroom and bathroom was a real godsend. Normally we have to share a room with our daughter.

The staff were genial and very helpful.

All-in-all the HS apartments are central, clean, spacious and good value for money. Would heartily recommend.

Paul

My dear wife booked us in here for my 40th Birthday Weekend, then surprised me by bringing family & friends from afar and booking them in too!! Every contact with the team was a pleasant one, the rooms are spacious, well equipped and exceptionally clean. Restaurant has a varied menu of the finest quality Spanish food, lots of local produce and reasonably priced. Locations was pretty much next to La Sagrada Familia, with views of this wonderful building from the balconies at the front of the hotel. Cycle rental was opposite which gets you around the city (20 minutes ride to Nou Camp, similar time to the sea front or LAs Ramblas/Gothic area) or the metro station is below the Cathedral which links you to the rest of the city. Plenty of reasonable restaurants in nearby streets and a couple of parks. Overall I've given 5 stars, I couldn't fault the place, loved Barcelona, loved this hotel and I'll stay here again if I return to the city.

This was a great place to park ourselves for a few days, perfectly located by the spectacular Sagrada Familia. Our apartment was very comfortable and allowed our son and his mate to have a separate room with ensuite facilities. The lounge area was just big enough for us to sit and recover after a hard day exploring the city. Although I would not have wanted to prepare a three course dinner in the kitchenette (but why would you want to with all those fabulous restaurants that Barcelona has to offer) it did enable us to sit down and eat when we were just too tired to eat out. (There is a very well stocked supermarket just a short walk away which provides all the basics) The rooms were clean and the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. In the dining room (which was shut during our visit) there are two magnificent vintage cars which we had glimpsed through the window. On enquiring if we could see them, the receptionist kindly opened the restaurant for us to go in and have a closer look! I would certainly recommend this place, especially if you want to stay somewhere a little more homely than a hotel. Very good value for money, and we all felt very safe there.

The apartment was great and the front desk staff were all friendly and helpful.

I had a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a balcony. Although it's location is near the Sagrada Familia, the neighbor isn't touristy at all. There is the supermarket Consum nearby as well as several good restaurants. However, stay away from the restaurants within the immediate vicinity of the Sagrada Familia.

The apartment kitchen is equipped with a microwave, toaster, pots, cutlery, dishes, electric kettle and coffee maker which requires you to purchase the coffee pods at the front desk for 1 euro each. The kitchen also has cleaning supplies for 5 euros, but I purchased them at the supermarket at a cheaper price.

I certainly recommend this place, and will return on my next visit to Barcelona.

Stayed here for 5 nights before a cruise. 2 adults and an 11 year old. No breakfast but this was fine especially with a great supermarket just around the corner. 2 minutes walk only. Our room 402 facing the back was very quiet at night. Black out shutters were very good and the firm beds were comfortable. Sagrada Familia is very close as is the Metro station. Good selection of restaurants in the area but we ate in often due to the fresh produce especially shellfish from the supermarket and the apartment has a good working kitchen.

We just came back from Barcelona. Stayed in Hispanos 7 Suiza for 10 days.
The hotel location is a nice and safe neighborhood. 2 blocks away from "Sagrada Familia". Where there is a Tourist Information kiosk, Metro station, Tourbus and city bus stations. Lots of eateries, grocery store, nice supermarket even at late night. It is 30-40 minutes walk to the center of the city, if you want to walk and explore the beautiful Barcelona on foot.
The hotel consist of about 16-18 apartment suites 4 each floor. We stayed at fifth floor facing the street, and a bit of view of the Sagrada from our balcony. Each suite has a good size living/dining room with a nice balcony, a small kitchen, two bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.
The building is old, but was renovated quite clean and comfy for a relaxing time-out from the busy touristic city. The windows have electric shades that covers all the noise during the nights, if you want to sleep in a total quite. There is enough kitchen appliances and accessories to cook, if you travel with kids and need to do home made. They have dishwasher and also washing machine in suites.
The staff are very polite, knowledgeable, professional and friendly.
The price was reasonable, and we enjoyed staying there very much.
Thank you Laura, Eva, Jose, Mary, ....

The kitchen was well equipped with supplies. We cooked while there but mostly for breakfast (eggs and such) so really just needed the most basic cutlery. If I recall, spices (i.e. Salt, pepper and sugar) were not included so keep this in mind.

I called a car service which was twice as expensive as a taxi. Just get a taxi at the airport!
