Write a reviewI do not understand the excellent reviews others have given. The apartment is small and lacks basic amenities (coffee, tea, sugar, milk). The second bedroom looks onto an internal well, with lights all night and noise from the lift. It was very difficult to get the air temperature right, and with the window open the noise and light made sleeping difficult. But the worst feature was the total lack of hot water in either bathroom - showering in tepid water is unpleasant when it is cool anyway; we asked for it to be fixed every day, but it just got worse! On the last day it was impossible to get even tepid water. Our complaint to management was rejected on the basis that it was a "punctual problem", whatever that may mean. The restaurant food was mediocre. My last night in Barcelona I stayed at the Gran Torre de Catalunya - cheaper, bigger room, marvellous views, everything worked well, and a kettle with tea, coffee etc. I would not recommend the Hispanos 7 Suiza to anyone.

Unfortunately we have to admit that this opinion regarding to the hot water issue is correct. During Easter time one of our water tanks stopped working to be very difficult to supply the entire hotel. For this reason some of the apartments had problems getting hot water; and also because of the dates (holidays) we were unable to solve the problem immediately because the technicians did not find the machinery parts they needed. Hot water is a basic necessity, but the situation faced was an exception and it had reached a point which was beyond our control. I personally apologised several times to our customers and try to compensate in some way the situation but our offer seemed not to be enough. We really regret that incident and would have preferred the situation to be different but due to the holiday period it became unable to solve it as soon as we would have liked.

Fabulous location and great apartments. Lovely balcony and two minutes walk from Sagradia Familia. The hotel also has its own underground car park, where 5 antique cars are stored, and a further 2 in the restaurant area...
We have two teenage sons and the apartments were far more accessible than a hotel room would have been. All the apartments are also air conditioned.
The reception staff were exceptional and went out of their way to be helpful, over and above the call of duty.
Free WiFi is also available and there is also a computer in the bar area that is free to use.
We would highly recommend these apartments and hope to return in the not too distant future.

An apartment is always better particulary when traveling with children / teenagers / friends because you can have your own privacy with two separate bedrooms, but also share your moments together in the dining area or the terrace. We just returned from a week in Barcelona, where we split our time between the Hispanos 7 Suiza and the Hotel Arts. We loved the H7S and highly recommend it.
First, the space was invaluable. 2 BRs, kitchen, 2 baths... more than plenty of room to spread out. It compared well to a timeshare or residence club (without the pool). As a family of 4 (2 young kids) it was nice to have a clothes washer in the unit as well.
The on-site restaurant was nice. Breakfast was included in our rate, and while not amazing it was a great way to start the day. We ate dinner at La Cupula one evening and loved it -- very high-quality food.
We enjoyed the location. The kids loved seeing La Sagrada Familia every day as we headed to the Metro station. We also enjoyed being in a residential neighborhood.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. Most of the other guests seemed to be visiting from other parts of Spain, and they were friendly as well.
When we return to Barcelona, we will most definitely return to the H7S!!!

Traveled with my adult son and husband. We stayed four nights in this small property in a lovely two-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette, dining and living area. I echo all the positive comments of the previous reviews. The staff is kind and friendly and helpful. It was wonderful to have so much space to spread out in after a day of sightseeing. Our room was on the side that has a view of La Sagrada Familia, and it is quite special to be reminded of its presence, especially after one has actually gone to see it, in all its magnificence.
There is street noise outside during the day if you're on the balcony, but inside with the glass doors and shutters closed it is quiet. We actually kind of liked sitting outside on the terrace and watching the motos and people go by. The apartments across the street are quite charming looking.
We used the espresso coffee machine every morning and heated milk in the micro for our first cafe con leches of the day. We ate in the hotel restaurant one night and it was delicious food for a good price.
The metro is close by, and easy to use. We did have an advantage, given that my son speaks Spanish, but I felt most places were quite accessible that way.
I don't know if I'll ever make it back to Barcelona, but I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Thank you for your kind comment. We remind our customers to send us their preferences when booking so we can do our best to try to satisfy them. As stated by this guest the apartments facing the street may have a nicer view but we should not forget that we are in town, so it is impossible not having noises from street, eben though all apartments have double-glazed for soundproofing. On the other hand the apartments facing the yard are lot sunnier and quieter. Regarding the restaurant I also take the chance to mention that we offer special deals for the guests staying in our apartments, such as daily menus and discounts. We sincerely hope to seeing you back in Barcelona.

Nice location, big supermarket 1 min walking, metrostation couple of minutes walking. Helpful staff. Wifi worked well. Restaurant was nice and room service worked nicely. Cleaning everyday was super. Kitchen ok.
