The hotel's modern and inviting atmosphere, along with its clean rooms, receives consistent praise, although some guests have mentioned issues with room noise and privacy.

Our stay was absolutely perfect The hotel is beautifully appointed and decorated in a very retro-modern style, very on point with current décor trends. But most importantly for my environmentally sensitive family, it was squeaky clean. The rooms have hard surface floors with small area rugs. No nasty carpeting. The bedding is a comforter sandwiched between clean, washable sheets, no old recycled comforters here. The bathrooms are set up to avoid water spills that would create water damage. The air was very clean, and for you "environmentally sensitives" out there, moldies included, it was a very clean hotel overall. You can safely stay here and feel well.

Stayed at the Hyatt Centric Center City Philadelphia for 1 night booked on the Hyatt Night In special rate/package.
When booking on this particular rate - the room was a corner suite (premium suite at this property) and included early check in (8AM), late check out (5PM), free valet parking (normally $58), and a 3 course dinner and bottle of wine served to your room.
Leading up to our stay, I was in contact with the assistant operations manager, Kaitlin, to select our dinner meal and time preferences. I asked if there was anything special that I could arrange since it was my husband’s birthday. She asked if I had anything in mind - I told her I was thinking some balloons/decorations in the room. She responded to consider it taken care of.
We checked in a little after 11AM and we’re informed we had been upgraded to the Presidential suite! Woo!
I’m pretty sure there is only 1 presidential suite in the hotel and it is the largest room available. I am also pretty sure it’s the only room that has a balcony, although there is no furniture on it. There was a Happy Birthday banner and some balloons waiting for us when we arrived! We definitely felt welcome and well taken care of right away. The suite was comfortable and everything felt very new.
Overall I think this package was an excellent value for what we got out of it. The hotel location in proximity to Rittenhouse Square and a lot of other city attractions was great and all our staff interactions were extremely competent and pleasant. Would definitely recommend!

Loved our stay! Our room had an amazing city view. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was very stylish to reflect the heritage of the neighborhood - vinyl plank floor, concrete ceiling, spacious shower, cool shelving with TV and clear fridge….It’s right near Rittenhouse Square and a short walk to the Reading Market. Don’t miss the restaurant right across the street -Pizzeria Vetri. It’s not only convenient but the best pizza we’ve had in a long time in a cool atmosphere. We didn’t have a car so parking wasn’t an issue - we took an Uber from the airport. Overall, we stayed in a new hotel in a great location for about $200 per night. Thumbs up!

A fairly new hotel just built in Oct 2020 and I was lucky enough to get a good price for the short stay while visiting Philadelphia for my daughter's spring break. The location is within walking distance to City Hall, Reading Terminal Market, Love Park and etc., If not, public transportation is within one or two blocks distance from the hotel. The hotel is very modern and very clean. Touchless front doors were a plus since we are still fighting Covid. Room key is needed to operate the elevators. Bathroom was separated from the vanity and shower which was a plus. Furnishing in the room was very simple but multi functional. Bed was comfortable. There is a thermistor which you can adjust the room temperature to your liking. My family and I felt very safe during our staying as the hotel is clean and everyone were social distancing. Would definitely stay here again the next time we come to town.

Great hotel....I can say that unequivocally. From check in to check out, this place is great. Friendly front desk staff. Brand new hotel with a nice lobby. But we got there early (11AM) and they charged a $25 early check in fee. I don't think I've ever encountered this before. Annoying but it is what it is as it was on the info sheet they gave us at check in so I'm sure it's posted as part of their rules and regs. Our room was nice and spacious with lots of nice touches. A nice big screen TV mounted on the wall. A Keurig. Ironing board and iron hidden behind the mirror. Small fridge to keep your drinks or leftovers cold. Large walk in shower with adjustable shower head where you can toggle behind the shower or the handheld. The gym was spacious and had plenty of things you could use to keep on your regular routine - dumbbells up to 70lbs, a universal machine with two handles that you could move up and down to accommodate all types of exercises, 2 Peloton bikes, a seated bench press machine, a seated pull down machine, 3 treadmills and 2 ellipticals. There's a water cooler in the gym to fill up your bottles so you can have water for walking around the city. Location-wise, you're right by Rittenhouse with so many great restaurants, shopping and some sites. This is where we'll be staying next time we go to Philly. Besides the early check in, our only minor complaint is the bed was probably too soft for our liking.

This new hotel in Center City is lovely and filled with very attentive and joyful staff. Really appreciate that the room is not carpeted, the beds and pillows are so comfy, and the shower is separate from the toilet. Also impressed with the fine details like the motion sensor light under the bed and the robe hanging in the closet - a pleasant surprise for a modestly priced hotel. Would definitely stay here again!

This Hotel is worth the price and highly recommended creating a account so you get points to use for the next stay at any same hotel in any other location listed in the Hyatt App. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and I recommend going to First Church Of Our Lord Jesus Chirst to Listen to the truth of God message with Apostle Pastor Gino Jennings on Sundays. Also The higher the hotel room the better the view and for the parking on the sidewalks with the pay meter is free late at night and make sure to wake up early at 7AM to pay to meter with the number of the parking spot and is better to use the meterUP app.

Overall a very nice and recently updated hotel. Due to COVID - they had a 24 hour room service with a limited menu and the restaurant was open for breakfast only on Saturday and Sundays. The food was very good though on the one breakfast that I did eat there. Water pressure in my room was a little low, perhaps a different shower head would offer more pressure in light of water conservation. My only gripe is it is valet parking only and while understanding that it is in downtown Philly, it is expensive and if you plan on driving everyday - in/out privilege's will add to the bill for parking. I did have a hard time sleeping - bed seemed to be fairly new and the pillows I just couldn't find a good position with to sleep.

We stayed here last weekend with a great deal from Travelzoo. The location was perfect, check in quick, staff friendly, hotel clean and very nice! The issues stem from the room itself. The room was new, modern, updated. However, the bathroom does not have a door. So you step out of the shower naked with no door, and the mirror in the main area of the room reflects right into that open space, so voila..naked for everyone sitting in your room. Privacy is something some people cherish. Me included. Not to mention, if a member of your party needs to shower at night and you want to sleep, forget it. No door means the light spills into the sleeping area.
Which brings me to sleeping. The bottom of the beds have motion sensor lights. Great if you are traveling alone (maybe...ours just randomly went on when no one was up). But, again, if a member of your party needs to get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, the lights come up and are NOT dim! Lastly, the air conditioning in the room seems to be on a motion sensor at night. So it shuts off unless you move around or wave your arms in the air like you are hailing a taxi in Manhattan. So, it would get hot and stuffy, thus allowing us very little sleep.
I travel all over, have been to a dozen hotels in the past year, and this one was the worst to be honest. I'm not usually picky, privacy and a good night's sleep are my main requirements. This hotel lacks both, unfortunately. We both have never come home from a trip feeling so tired instead of refreshed and relaxed!
I do not recommend.

when you walk into the room, there is a toilet to one side (with a pocket door) and a sink/ shower on the other side. There is a door on the shower, but when you exit the shower, you are in a small open area. You are not sharing a bathroom with anyone else than is in your room.
"The hotel has a parking garage under it. There is also a parking garage directly across from the hotel. The entrance into the hotel is on a side street which surprised me. "
