Learn about Mary's Column, that gave its name to the square; the Old- and New Town hall, and the famous “Glockenspiel” (clock tower). With its 43 bells and 32 figures, the Clock Tower is one of the most well known Munich attractions. Listen to your guide’s story about two historical events performed by the wooden figurines at fixed hours.Within a step away, you will reach the oldest catholic church of the city, St. Peter. Afterwards make sure to get a good view of the double towers of the cathedral Frauenkirche, the largest church in Munich, with the “footprint of the devil” and with a dark legend surrounding it. Follow your guide to Odeonsplatz, learn about the Beer-Hall- Putsch and listen to the story of a tumultuous night when two thousand men, lead by Adolf Hitler, marched to the centre of Munich trying to seize power. Pass by the baroque Theatine Church, built by the Elector of Bavaria, Ferdinand Maria and his wife as a thank you gesture for the birth of the long-awaited heir to the Bavarian crown, Prince Max Emanuel. You’ll also see Ludwigstrasse, a neo-classical styled street, where the State Library, the oldest university of Munich and the Gate of Victory are located. Go back towards the center to Max-Joseph- Square, enjoy the view of the Opera, the National Theater, and the Royal Palace, the Residence, the former palace of the Bavarian monarchs and the largest palace in all of Germany. Arrive at the royal brewery, the Hofbrauhaus established in 1589 and considered to be the mothership of all beer halls in the world. Visit Viktualienmarkt, a public food market, which offers fresh local products.

History of Konstanz in 90 minutes
Family of 6 adults had a day in Constance. Signed up for a private tour with Marvin as our guide. He did a good job on history and giving us our bearings. 90 minute tour. Thought it was worthwhile.

A fascinating city with a history from AD90
This city built on the site of an original Roman fort has amazing character and charm. It's location made it one of the central towns of the Empire as the permanent seat of the Imperial Diet of the Holy Roman Empire. with 1500 listed buildings in the Old Town showing am amazing cultural mix.

A location built on three reivers and an amazing history
Probably the best way to see Passau and not to miss the many fascinating buildings and stories about the town. In many ways dominated by water as the lines on the buildings designate the flood levels over the years.

Fabulous and entertaining guided tour of Regensburg
Daniela was a super guide. She is quite knowledgeable about the history of Regensburg and provided us with many fascinating facts and entertaining anecdotes. We would gladly book a tour with her again and she convinced us that we need to return to Regensburg for the Christmas market.

Munich a great city to visit.
A great city to visit, plenty to see, good food. Many day trips that could be made to Regensburg, Salzburg, and of course do not miss Neuschwanstein.

      Gem of a church
Enjoyed the intimate church reminiscent of those I visited in Russia when travel was allowed. I prayed for all those trapped in a bad situation.

      Aachen, Personal and Captivating
Julie Anna has a deep knowledge about the city and its rich and varied history. She was engaging and delightful. The time flew. She also treated us to the local baked treat, the Printen cookie. She made every small thing interesting. Thank you for pairing us with her.

Best Christmas market I have been to!
One of the best Christmas markets I have ever been to! Spent 2 days here. Also went to the medieval market in Esslingen. It was awesome and easy to get to! We did visit the Christmas garden our first night there. It was underwhelming. Not worth the trip and 22 euros it cost to get in. The Chrsitmas market was large with a great deal of variety, however. Loved igt!

      Wonderful walking tour
Decided to go on this walking tour with my family when we were visiting Leipzig. Our guide was really friendly and showed us so many interesting buildings and told us so many things. I loved it, it was such a wonderful experience. If you really want to know the city better this is definitely for you.

Behind the Christmas market, there’s another Rothenberg waiting to be experienced!
Antonia was our guide yesterday. She is a delight. We walked around the area of the Christmas market. We took in the Town Hall area and learned historical things. She included a walk along the city wall. The views are amazing up there. We walked a different area, away from the Christmas market and learned more history of the importance of Rothenberg. We shopped a little as we began. She was kind to let us do that. We ended back in the Christmas market. She helped us get back our bearings so we knew where we were before she left us. Antonia couldn't have been more kind and informative. She is a wonderful guide and lady! We enjoyed her!

      Nuremburg comes to life!
Ekki was our guide for the Christmas market tour. Don’t be thinking this is a walk through the various tents of the Christmas markets. It is not. It is an informative, educational tour of the area . We began in the Christmas market area and went all around. We learned about the seven prince electors and walked to the Imperial Palace learning as we walked. The views are pretty from the Imperial Palace. We learned about the history behind it, found out about the well. The churches are spectacular! Ekki answered all the questions we had and that was good! We went from the crazy crowded Christmas market to the calm Rhine river. The suspenion bridge was fun to learn about. We were participants at the beginning of the tour and friends with Ekki at the end! Our granddaughter is a history major and Ekki was perfect for us. He spent extra time with us because he wanted us to have a wonderful experience and we enjoyed it ALL! Thank you for pairing us with Ekki.

Talk about Taking Christ out of Christmas
It's a store. Sells "seasonal" decorations in the theme of ¹"traditional" German Christmas. Some cute items, lots of tree decorations, winter scenes, and unique home decor materials but very little to do with religious Christmas material.
