Private Tour of Dachau with Adam
Although I’d visited Dachau twice before, I felt it was important my friend also go while we were in Munich. Adam was very accommodating to ensure we made it back to Munich for another tour we had scheduled. Adam taught me so much more than I had known before about the memorial site. He was very patient with us and all our questions about both Dachau and living in Germany. Highly recommended taking a private tour with Adam! I also feel strongly that everyone should visit a concentration camp.

Excellent tour that cannot fail to make a lasting impression
I cannot really do justice and put into words what the tour of Dachau is like, I would just advise everyone to go. Our guide Marcin was excellent, his experience as a guide at Dachau and knowledge meant that you cannot fail to learn and then try to understand the history of this place.

      Very Insightful and Informative
Can’t rate this tour highly enough. Marcin was on time at the pickup point and delivered an informative and insightful tour. I realized that what I thought I knew about Germany from 1933 to 1945 was very incomplete. I appreciated that the government trains and certifies the Dachau guides so that the information is accurate and meant to portray the camp in a historical context. Marcin was a fount of knowledge and his English easy to understand. A fabulous and rewarding day learning about important periods of world history.

      Dachau Guided Tour
We recently took a guided tour of the Dachau Concentration Camp with Inmunichtours, and it was an incredibly moving and educational experience. Our guide, Sam, was outstanding. His depth of knowledge and his ability to convey the historical significance of the site were truly impressive. Sam guided us through the camp with sensitivity and respect, providing detailed historical context that helped us understand the gravity of what happened there. His passion for history and his commitment to educating others shone through in every part of the tour. He answered all of our questions with patience and insight, making the experience deeply informative and memorable. We left the tour with a profound understanding of the events that took place at Dachau and a deep appreciation for the importance of remembering this part of history. We highly recommend Inmunichtours and especially Sam for anyone looking to visit Dachau. This tour is a must for anyone seeking a meaningful and educational experience. Thank you, Sam, and Inmunichtours, for a truly unforgettable tour.

      A Must-Do
Whew, where do I begin? I’m accompanying my boyfriend on his business trip to Munich. It’s my first time in Germany and I wanted to visit a concentration camp. I booked this as a solo traveler based on the Trip Advisor reviews. Our guide was Sam, and the instructions to meet him on the morning of the tour were accurate and easy to follow. Unfortunately our tour was impacted by the German Railway Gods, who deemed it fit to be an absolute menace. While we were supposed to leave Munich towards Dachau around 10 AM, we didn’t end up leaving until closer to 1 PM. This was not the fault of Sam or InMunich Tours in any shape, way, or form. It was purely a series of unfortunate events with closing rail lines and the joys of technology meeting public transit. Sam worked so hard to find routes to get us to Dachau. As time went on, he offered everyone either an opportunity to rebook for the next day or a refund if they didn’t want to continue. Only 4 people chose to rebook/refund. The rest of us carried on, having bonded from the experience. For whatever it’s worth, we were all understanding - no one fussed and we enjoyed having the chance to get to know one another. As the only solo traveler in the group, it was lovely having a chance to get to know the people on the tour with me. Sam did an excellent job of shepherding us through the process and we finally made it to Dachau around 1:30, where he gave us the full tour. If he was still frazzled by the previous events, he sure didn’t show it. He was knowledgeable, empathetic, and expertly navigated tough subject matter in a way that was moving and impactful. There’s no way to get around it - visiting a concentration camp is a sad experience. To see the magnitude of human cruelty and suffering is sobering. Sam guided us well through that journey and I can’t sing his praises enough. Truly, he is a gem and I hope he enjoyed a well-earned drink after the tour finished. If his professionalism, flexibility, and knowledge is at all a reflection of that of the rest of the staff of InMunich Tours, you’re in good hands for your visit. When our tour finished, we all hugged each other and wished each other well, parting as friends. I’m not sure that would have happened without the travel mishaps from earlier in the day. If you go on this tour, be understanding that public transit may decide to add some detours along the way. My advice is to roll with the punches and take the opportunity to get to know your fellow travelers; it makes for a more rewarding experience. Thank you, Sam!

      A great value..
As we passed by other groups of 20 or 30, struggling to listen to their guide, my wife and I were so pleased that we chose the private tour with Marcin, who was a superior educator. The tour was incredible. Extensive, fascinating, enlightening and sobering. I’m glad we did it, and highly recommend Marcin as your guide and resource.

      Dachau…Full Day
The meeting place was way to find and the transportation to and from the camp went very smoothly. Our guide, Hein, was full of information and made sure we were in a spot for him to speak so that everyone in our group could hear him. He kept us on time at each specific spot in the camp. I would highly recommend this tour!

      Somber but amazing tour
Scott was great. Informative and very respectful. He knew his history and was able to bring many facts that would otherwise be unavailable such as opportunities he has had to meet survivors.

Wonderful three hour walking tour to the major historical points of interest in the city center, including Marienplatz, Glockenspiel, Hofbräuhaus, Frauenkirche and many spots you’d overlook without a guide. Our tour guide Jo was awesome and incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and entertaining as we walked through the alleys and side streets of Munich. A joy!

Great tour by Keith, thoroughly enjoyed it. Keith was very knowledgeable of Munich and its history, we were able to visit all the main attractions. Keith was also able to provide a tour of some of the beer gardens, which was a bonus. He was friendly and personable, which made the tour even more enjoyable. He also made recommendations on the best places to eat traditional German/Munich food.

Aileen’s tour was an awesome experience. We learned so much about the history of Munich. It was amazing to stand in the exact spot where significant events happened and hear vivid descriptions of the event and how it shaped history. Aileen is very knowledgeable on the topics. Every time I asked a question, Aileen responded with additional details. We are a group of six spanning three generations and all we’re very pleased with the experience.

Our guide Tom, made Munich come alive for us with tales of history and many fun facts. As well as the main tourist attractions, he took us to many hidden corners which I don’t think we could have found on our own. He had folder full of pictures and maps which he presented at the relevant point to give us some background and save us a bit of leg work which was much appreciated as the walk was for 2 hours, but he did a bit more. He gave us the right balance between the dark history but also the good history of Munich which was nice. He spoke clearly and very good English and although there were 13 of us we could all hear him very well. It was an excellent afternoon and well worth the money.

Great tour with a very knowledgeable, helpful and polite guide. City was very crowded but to be expected at Christmas Market time. We learned so much on this tour and are very pleased we did it as we now have a very good appreciation of the old town of Munich and its history.

Our guide Adam met us at our hotel right on time. He asked what our interests were and then adjusted the walking trip to that. It was raining off and on but to be honest it didn’t matter much. When we got a little cold we went to a nice local spot for beer and enjoyed the atmosphere and history. Adam was good fun and highly knowledgeable.

Great way to see sights. Better than a bus. Plus really helpful to walk if you are jet lagged as we were. Cleared our heads.

Our guide Verena did a wonderful job with our pretty large group of nine adults. She spoke excellent English, was pleasant to chat with, answered all our questions and showed us all the major attractions but the best part of the tour were the quirky places and stories she shared that only a local would know about.
