I have lived here for many years but still I didn't know many of the stories narrated. I like that the game makes you look up and look for details that normally you would not notice and appreciate. The „story“ adds nothing to the experience. Some of the quests are so easy, that you feel disappointed. Other quest are not solvable consistently. I suspect, that google street view was used, some of the directions are not clear and misleading if you are „in the field“. Especially if you have a statue and it says „walk with the statue on the left“, or „the end of the street“ and the building is 150m behind you.
But as a trip through the city to get to know it, an option. But not worth your money.

Fun way to see the major spots around Munich. Had a few spots under construction that were listed in the event clearly. Wish it had a little bit more information about the spots. A lot of it was flavor text as opposed to 'actual' ghost stories to tie together a plot.
The first spot in the park was full of evening dancers which was very fun!!

I loved getting to walk around and see the history of Munich. It wasn’t to scary so just up my alley. I think this is a great way to add in a tour in your schedule at your own time.

The Quest with the statue of Justus Liebig was not possible to do. The answer was not logical. In total was it a very good game. It was a nice experience and adventure of Munich.

It is straightforward and fun. Could’ve been more interesting if its more thought provoking or more challenging riddles. But overall its a very great attempt in getting to know the important sights of the city and dating back to its wonderful history. Thumbs up for more quest like this!!

The quest has awesome surprises during the tour. We enjoyed various information about outstanding places in Munich. Since we were here for the first time, it was a good way to discover the city. Being interactive and the storyline very catchy, it made it great to do with my 10 year old son. We did it by day and it was still cool

What I love about Questo App, is that it always wins against locals! I don't recommend it only for tourists, by also for people born and living in the city. My story with Questo started with the "Haunted City" Game, and I discovered Munich in a very dynamic, flexible, updated, enthusiastic, and unique way. I have been living there for 7 months, and I thought I knew every corner in it, but guess what!? I was totally wrong!!! "Haunted City" challenge highlights magnificent details thru the trail... I also purchased the brewery game in Munich and also a game in Vienna! So just grab your backpack, fill it with some great snacks, and let's hunt some ghosts ;)
So, in every trip, I recommend reserving a day for Questo or if you don't have any clear plan for a one-day city visit, just download Questo and it will do all the job for you with the best experience ever. Very well recommended!
