    Our favorite night in Munich!
This was our favorite booking for our Germany trip! Noel was an amazing tour guide who really bonded our small group together. He shared some interesting city and historical facts that were not just beer-related too. We got to try food and beer that are special to the area. By the end of the night it felt like we were out with a group of friends.

    Very satisfied
We really enjoyed our tour with Noel! We experienced some new foods we would have never had thought to order on our own, and learned a lot about the history and culture of beer in Munich!

    Beer and Bites and Beer!
Fantastic tour to start our journey in Munich. Our guide Patrick was amazing - extremely knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Really brought the city to life. My son and I very much enjoyed our time and would take this tour again in a second. Don’t hesitate for a second if you are interested in this one!

    Great Walking Tour
Had a great time on this walking tour. Our tour guide, Dennis, was patient and shared lots of info while taking us through the, Marienplatz, the market, and bier gardens. We drank plenty of beer and tasted several local foods.

Personal food tour is amazing - Ask for Kevin!
I was a little concerned at the price of the tour but wanted a really personal experience for my daughters and I on our last day in Europe. I am happy to report this was the highlight of our trip. The weather was dreadful but Kevin was brilliant, quickly modifying stops to maximize the food and history while minimize the raindrops. He took great delight in quizzing our local knowledge and telling us detailed stories to add context to the local food and city history. His passion and knowledge of the area and its food made this experience perfect. He was so kind and engaging with my college age kids, even they were impressed.

    Would do this again!
Noel was a fantastic tour guide! Knowledgeable and funny. We learned so much about beer, history and culture. Walking was easy. Laid back vibe. Really liked the small group too. All the food and beer we tried was great. 10 out of 10 recommend!

    Fun Tour w/ guide Iain
Ask for Iain to be your guide. He was such fun, the man is like a human version of Wikipedia. He constantly studied history so it was one of the most informative tours I've ever been on. Also he's rather theatrical in his speaking and mannerisms so the tour was quite hilarious at times. The food was varied and plentiful. The locations we toured were interesting. It was raining on and if during our tour but we still had a great time.

Great times for all! Highly Recommend - come HUNGRY
Overall, a very good time with a good group! This is the tour to go on if you want to enjoy a friendly guide (shoutout to Deniz!), meet fellow travelers (future meetups already planned), learn a bit about the city, and enjoy a lot of food. At first the price tag was pretty shocking to me at ~$150/person. What that gets you: - 1 liter starting beer. - A snack (a small pork sandwich) - A brief history of the Marianplatz Square and some nearby buildings. - A massive dinner - 4-5 types of sausages, potato salad, kraut, pretzels, meatballs, etc - 3 tasting-sized beers (1 dL each, I think) + 1 liter of your favorite of those three - A fun tour of the beer hall discussing some of the local beer history and how beer is made. A delicious desserts (The emperor's pancake) + .5L or 1L more of a beer of your choice. If I had to guess, it would be 50-60 euros worth of food, if you bought it yourself, maybe 25-30 euros worth of beer, a 30-40 euro informational tour, and some priceless interactions with fellow travelers.

If you like beer and like culture, you'll like this tour!
Such a fun and informative tour! Kevin, our tour guide, did a really wonderful job explaining the history of the German beer culture as well as giving lots of insights into where things are today. The tour was fun, the beer and bites were good, and the experience is very memorable!

Great Beer, Great Food, Great Times!
This tour was an amazing way to spend a Saturday evening. Deniz was my guide and he was excellent. The depth of his knowledge of the beer and beer culture of Munich is phenomenal. All the food was delicious, and there was plenty of it to be had. Just about any staple of Bavarian cuisine you can think of was included. Cannot recommend this tour enough!

    Knowledge, food and beer
We had a great time eating local food, drinking excellent beer, and learning about both Munich in genral and beer traditions in particular. Our guide, Noel, had much more to say, and if we had not been so full and semi-drunk, I am sure we could have gone on for a couple of hours more. Thank you for a fun experience!

Beer AND history. What more could you want in a tour?
We landed from Houston and did the walking beer tour same day. Our guide Kevin was awesome! Great energy and a wealth of knowledge on local history. A great way to kick off our trip and pin down some solid local spots for a mighty Bavarian experience!

The tour was the best! Kevin was so welcoming and talked about some of the history of Munich while feeding us delicious treats. The meeting spot was easy to find, and the tour started on time. First we had breakfast at a local restaurant and then moved onto the market after getting some falafel at a shop. At the market we had fresh fruit and dessert. This went along with our meat sandwich from a butcher shop. During the tour, we also had a nice 15 minute break to sit down, use the restroom, or grab a drink which was nice. We ended at a beer garden with beer and snacks, of course. I would highly recommend this food tour to anyone that’s looking to try some local food and explore a small piece of Munich. It’s great for solo travelers or family and friends. Kevin was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and happy. He remembered names which is impressive to me. 10 out of 5 stars!

Kevin was our guide and we really enjoyed the food tour. First, Kevin was very friendly. He provided a lot of insights as we walked through key areas he wanted to show us. The food spots he chose were all delicious, in fact we went back to one the next day. He also gave very helpful tips on other sights to see while we were in Munich. We highly recommend a tour with him, thank you Kevin!

This was great tour and our tour guide, Bridgette, was wonderful. We had wonderful food and drinks, while learning not only food history, but history about Munich in general. Our 1st stop was for breakfast, and the sausage was delicious! The highlight for me was walking through the market, and choosing the multiple foods we were going to eat for our smorgasboard lunch. Fun and delicious!
I highly recommend this tour!

We really enjoyed our tour with Iain and wish we had scheduled it earlier in our Munich stay so that we could have been aware of all the local foods sooner and therefore enjoyed them more often! His tour was full of fun history and delicious foods we wouldn't have known we liked without the tour! The Viktualienmarkt was a delight and we visited it several more times after the tour to try other delicacies that had been pointed out by Iain. One of our family members has celiacs disease and he was able to help them navigate what they could eat and helped vendors modify the way a couple things were served so the celiac could enjoy them too! We would all highly recommend this tour!

Thank you Daniel and Fork and Walk. An informative and interesting tour and Daniel is a personable young man. He provided tips of where to eat after the tour and we followed these up on two different days and were not disappointed.

The choice of stop for breakfast and lunch during the tour were faultless.

My only mistake was not booking direct with Fork and Walk that would have cost me 190 Euros for my wife and I. I booked through Trip Advisor and Paid 283 Euro. Lesson learnt BOOK DIRECT with supplier

This food tour of the Munich Viktualienmarkt was amazing. Our guide, Iain was really an expert on all things Munich and Bavarian food. The tour had a great pace and the food selections were all very tasty. I would highly recommend this tour to new visitors to Munich. We took this tour at the end of our time in the city, but it would also be a great way to spend your first day in the area.

A wonderful way to get oriented to the sights, history and food of Munich. Daniel is extremely personable and, as a true local, provides a wealth of insider info. Especially loved the morning weissbier and weisswurst in a cozy Bavarian cafe. Come hungry!

Our tour with Liam was fantastic! He had so many stories to share about Munich history, food, cultural traditions, and all the ins and outs of living in Munich. He was very friendly and we had a blast hanging out with him! He went above and beyond and left us with lots of awesome tips for where we might spend the rest of our time in Munich, too. The tour was also really well organized with the meet-up point and pre-tour information very clearly communicated well in advance.
