great clean inexpensive urban Camp ground. we stayed to nights in a tent and everything was great. Even the shower was open on a one only person at a time! You just had to get a key and done! Clean washrooms and friendly staff! We would come back anytime!

The location and amenities were just what we needed. We came to Saskatoon to visit family. This campground was exactly what we needed - inside the city. While the campsites were a bit too close - when compared to provincial parks - the bushes and trees in between campsites provided for ample privacy. The grounds, washrooms, and showers were well maintained.

Always nice and quiet when I have stayed. Waking up to the sound of birds. Clean bathrooms which you must wear masks in. Works for me. Lovely place. Park for kids. Free wifi. Close to one of the best pizza places in town.

Thanks to an assist from the reservation team we scored a very nice campsite, didn’t have to fight anyone for a spot. The sites are a little narrow, so you might have to Elbow your way in depending on your camper size. The grounds, washrooms and laundry are all very nice, so that’s a hat trick for the cleaning crew.

We have spent a week, twice now camping at the Gordon Howe Campsite with our RV Trailer. The campsites are on the larger side with trees and shrubs surrounding the campsites. The campground is well looked after by the City of Saskatoon. Bathrooms, laundromat and the campground are kept clean.

Great location! Really nice campground!

Room Tip: Try and get a campsite that backs onto the golf course.

I was appalled by the bullying and racism at this campground, by the staff as well as fellow campers. My girlfriend was in the washroom doing her makeup and getting ready ,I was talking to her on speaker phone when a staff named Todd started banging on the door yelling at her. She opened the door and he was ignorant and yelling that he was the boss. Which is uncalled for.
Another camper was driving and to the gate and almost hit her. She has a disability and walks with a cane. He got out of her car and told her to go back to her reserve.

Booked on-line for two nights - and wanted to check out after one but they would not give us a refund - not their policy! They have NO sewer dump other than to pay $7.50 on the way out. No cable - the guy told us to use our satellite! Well not everyone carries around there own satellite! The people in the office were very rude and condescending and when asked about the sewer were told that they didn't advertise that they had sewer - like having sewer hookup is some kind of special request. The guy then proceeded to point at the sign on the desk - don't you see that! I think it's pretty sad that a city-owned campground like this would treat visitors to their city so poorly. Would never recommend this place to anyone and will certainly never stay here again.

Booked for 2 nights and had to cancel 42 hrs prior to arrival. Called and emailed the campground to let them know. Response back was that we would not get our deposit back due to 48hr cancellation policy. Checkin is 1pm and this is when cancellation period is effective.

Would not book here again as they don't take into consideration people's change of plans or unfortunate circumstances.

Beautiful Campground with close proximity to the sports complex. We only walk through the park but it's so cool and welcoming.
A lot of parking spaces available and a great place for family. Highly recommended

We moved from Saskatoon in July 1990. We were coming back to visit family and friends the week of July 9th, 2017 and we have a hardtop tent trailer so my wife and I decided to camp. I looked into camp sites and remember Gordon Howe campgrounds as a kid, I checked out their website and we decided to say their. The sitemap showed us what we needed and we booked there.
When I decided to write a review I read all previous 19 reviews and would give them full marks on 99% of others positive comments.
Two areas of concern:
The back washroom/Dish washing area (back of site 94 & 95) was not what we expected - they had 4 porto pots full (not emptied or cleaned) the site behind them looked like a building used to be there and it looked like it had been like this for a number of years without the sitemap being updated.
Free WIFI. - It was terrible. They should change and or update the passcode weekly so the G.H Campers only can access it. I'm sure the City of Saskatoon have employees on staff to correct these two problems and together we can make Saskatoon great again...

I would go back again (but check it out first) Thank you.
