Warwick Paradise Island - Bahamas is often lauded for its prime location, offering stunning views and proximity to local attractions, which many travelers find ideal for island exploration. Guests have called out the hotel's relaxed atmosphere and range of entertainment options, although some find the ambiance marred by noise and dated room aesthetics. The staff at Warwick receives positive remarks for their attentive and friendly service, enhancing guest experiences. While amenities are generally well-received, offering a variety of activities and dining experiences, some visitors note occasional shortages and areas that could be improved. Travelers' opinions on room cleanliness and value are mixed, with reports of immaculate conditions alongside housekeeping lapses, as well as appreciation for the all-inclusive pricing countered by concerns over unexpected fees and service costs.

We stayed for 5 nights mid March, just as the Covid-19 crisis increased around the world. I mention this as all the staff were instantly sympathetic and happy to help in anyway they could, whilst us & many guests were experiencing travel issues, they were facing a somewhat uncertain future, but this did not negatively impact their willingness to serve or support their guests.
To that point I feel strongly that management should consider redirecting the $10 a day resort charge to the staff during the time when guests were forced to pay it but not offered the additional services like shuttle buses.
Our room was a side water view, was fairly comfortable and appointed, but needed some extra cleaning and maintenance attention. The a/c was very noisy and we also suffered with an interconnecting door and a loud snorer!
The food was very good and the hotel & staff managed the changing government direction and smaller guest numbers very well, understandably limiting lunch to the poolside grill and one a la carte restaurant per night. Chickcharnie's was excellent, always a friendly greeting, freshly cooked food and often a daily recommendation. Edgewater was ok, the steak quality wasn't great and side portions were small. We tried all the desserts and they were nice. Tings on a Stick was great, a lovely choice of asian food, well cooked and presented. Abbicco was good, a lovely buffet starter selection but main pasta were massive portions and desserts not very authentic.
The bars alternated opening hours due to less guests. Poolside Hog Bar usually manned by Andrew and Prescott served the best mojitos and was lively during the day. The staff worked really hard to keep excellent hygiene standards whilst still joking with guests. Lobby Rum Cay was often quiet but the bar lady was lovely and would happily make my favourite amaretto sour and keep updated with news.
We didn't do many activities and the program wound down with fewer guests but the bike ride with Chevy was fun - the bikes are lethal but the stops at the gardens & pond were great! We walked to cabbage beach one day, grabbed a diet coke and walked as far as we could to Atlantis before the security guard shouted at us!
We mainly relaxed by the pool most days and were quite often disturbed by personal music players competing with each other but when asked the staff did request them to be turned down - but this wasn't actively policed.
This a solid 4* hotel but not as luxurious as we expected.

The Warwick is a special getaway since it is an adult-only all inclusive right on the harbor with a small beach, great food and most importantly, a super staff. Ashton and Jamell welcomed us and were available with helpful tips and advice throughout our visit. Sammy took us on a bike tour and was always upbeat from morning ‘til night. Terrell from housekeeping was always smiling and helpful; Stargiel and Latisha at the front desk and Debbie and the concierge desk, were always quick to answer our questions or help in any way we needed. We wish we had the names of everyone on the staff at Warwick: all were very gracious and made this a very positive experience for us! The room wasn’t fancy and didn’t have the harbor view, but it was clean and quiet.

There is a little shop right on Paradise Island down the street that is much more relaxed for souvenirs than the Straw Market, but taking the Water Taxi to Nassau was also a fun experience. We were escaping the cold, north winter and loved the Bahamas, especially the people. If you want to attend a Bahamian church on the Island, the concierge will call for you and get you a ride. Great way to experience some warm fellowship! We visited Calvary Bible Church and there are a number of other churches in Nassau. A quick " hello" to Rosco who was the captain on our snorkeling tour with Bahama Divers. That was a lot of fun! We used Delta Vacations and the Majestic Tours to keep it simple and relaxed.

We booked the Warwick because they had decent prices for a beachfront all inclusive hotel with a spa on site. Upon entry you are asked to sanitize your hands and wear your mask. They take alot of precautions due to the pandemic. You are constantly sanitizing your hands and wearing your mask if you are indoors unless you are eating. I'm not mad at it. The friendly folks at the front desk made check-in pretty easy and seamless. There were a few information points they may have forgotten to mention but we were able to figure it out. Now if you are looking for elaborate luxury, this is not the hotel for you. With that being said, the rooms have a chic minimalist vibe. The decor is very simple and the rooms are very clean. The beds are comfortable but the pillows not so much. The food is basic Americanized fare. The pasta section in the Verandah restaurant is delish. The Abiocco Restaurant (Italian) and the Edgewater Grill (steak and seafood) restaurants were the best on site restaurants. For breakfast we had a great server named Ian who went above and beyond. He even got us fresh hand-whipped whipped cream for our hot chocolate that wasn't even on the menu. Another server Kaylisa, who we had for dinner on 2 nights, was awesome and made sure we had a great time and delicious drinks. Most of the staff is pretty helpful and accommodating, like Barry the bellman who had some great offsite restaurant suggestions. They have activities everyday to entertain the guests, many of which are on the beach. The beach is a little smaller than expected and a bit rocky but it worked. You can always set up a beach day trip through the on-site concierge if you are looking for a larger beach. Overall, I would stay here again.

We stopped at the hotel in the month of August. The hotel was ok, food was great and the staff were really nice. It wasn’t the level of luxurious that I had the previous year in the Dominican so like for like for money and spend there was no comparison. To be honest that disappointed me. You couldn’t fault the service, cleanliness and the location, it was a walk away from cabbage beach and in the centre of Warwick Island complex, both about 20 min walk. Two gripes from me, the first was the elevators in the complex. There are three, and there was always one out of action, sometimes two. This created a bottleneck but not the end of the world. The other gripe was around the service in one of the restaurants, a group of people were loud, drunk and obviously had been there for a number of nights so they knew the staff. This group were served straight away whilst everyone else had to wait and listen to the noise they were making. The staff didn’t take the other guests into consideration.
The weather was awful during our seven night stay raining all but one day, the positive result meant we got a water taxi to Nassau on a couple of occasions for us to explore the shops. The water taxi even had its own tour guide who pointed out the landmarks as we passed through the harbour.
Overall, the holiday was ok, lacking in luxury and expensive. Everything is geared up for the numerous luxury cruise ships which constantly dock in the harbour. People are super friendly and the food and drinks were great.

We visited in late Oct 20 and despite the hotel only being 40% full were not upgraded to a sea view balcony room. The hotel wanted US$ 65 per night for those rooms.
We paid US$ 271 per night for the all inclusive which was a compulsory fee as we were going on a RCI timeshere exchange. Due to travel issues we arrived a day late and they would not refund the charge for the one day we didnt stay. Because it was "low season" a number of the restaurants were closed including the buffet restaurant most lunchtimes which meant the only lunch food was the not so good pool bar- pizzas and burgers or the sandwich on the beach!
We also only got to go to the good oriental restaurant on one evening as it was closed the rest of the week. That said the staff were very friendly and helpful and the option of going by minibus to the beach with the sunbeds and umbrellas on the other side of the island was good.
Whilst we were there ther was a conference going on which meant that the entertainment/disco room was out of action for 3 nights.
The pool was nice and the poolside bar good in range of drinks. The only issue was the loud blaring music they played all day from about 11am till 5pm around the pool. Wasnt relaxing!

Dear sunnyminds, Many thanks for taking the time to complete a review regarding your vacation that occurred in October last year. The extra rate that you refer too is the charge to from a waterview to a harbor view room with a balcony. You arrived a day late, if we had been advised your arrival date would have been charged and the charge may not have been applied. During some of our summer months, we do rotate all of our restaurants, we provided a number of daily specials which were added to our pool side restaurant menu. We have noted that you did not find the resort relaxing, we do apologize for any inconvenience which may have been caused .We are pleased that you enjoyed some of the other facilities and overall amenities. We do appreciate your comments, if you wish to revisit our resort again in the future, please do not hesitate to contact me. Best wishes, Benjamin

This hotel is run down. The carpets are disgustingly dirty in the hallways. However, we did not have hot water for 4 out of the 5 days there. The hot water would be available in the evenings some of the time so morning showers were out. The TV in our room did not work and the drain in our bathtub was slow to drain so you stood in water up to your ankles. The food was not bad though and the resort is getting a two star for the staff except the ladies at the front desk who ironically are the rudest and dismissive. I called the front desk NUMEROUS times to discuss the issues and no one would pick up. I actually sat there and decided I would let it ring until someone picked up to complain by 4:00 our room was not cleaned. After 3 minutes of ringing someone answered and I told him the issue and said I would like new towels and no one showed. It was ridiculous. This is my second stay here the first time was 7 years ago and it has gone completely downhill. In the evening they had one bar for 14 floors of rooms so getting a drink in the small area was near impossible. During the day there is only the pool bar with dozens of wasps flying around and 5 chairs for shade. Pool was freezing 🥶. I would never stay here again it was not worth the 3300 dollars I spent for 4 nights with my adult daughter.

Dear the general 1986, Thank you for your comments, we truly appreciate you taking the time out of your schedule to ensure that we receive the constructive remarks on our performance. We review all guest comments and take note of any defects that are brought to our attention. We have noted the comments in your review, there were some technical issues intermittently over a period of days which has since been resolved, and in fact a new device will be installed very shortly. We have also taken note of the housekeeping concerns and the inconsistent service that you encountered at the Front Desk. These have all been reviewed with the team. We do advise all of our guests of our food and beverage options on arrival, as most of our guests spend their time outdoors our pool bar operates from 10am to 9pm daily with our inside bar operating between 6pm to 1am. We thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention and truly apologize for any inconvenience which may have been caused. We would have also appreciated if you would have brought these matters to our attention while you were still at the resort. It is our goal to continue to become better at serving all our guests. Our facilities, amenities, accommodation and the activities offered are of a high standard and we look forward to continue offering nothing but the best. Best wishes, Benjamin

We had a 3 night stay at the hotel. Our first day we were welcomed by Jameel who offered us welcome drinks that were delicious. He made us feel very welcomed his warm smile and outgoing personality was a plus and set the tone on a high note for the day.
Check in was in and out. We booked dinner reservations and went on our way.
The buffet was basic but food was tasty. The pool area was very clean and cudos to the life guard\ we observed as he santized seating areas all day long and assisted us with our umbrellas and even went above and beyond to get us umbrellas the next day when the standard umbrellas were all occupied.

The hog bar served a couple who did not have on any masks however when a local approached the bar they were told to wear a mask before they could be served. It could have been a simple mistake however if that is the rule it should apply to everyone.
The lady at front desk made a mistake booking us at the wrong restaurant. So there was a mix up confirming our dinner reservations for that night we were turned away and had to eat at the alternative restaurant however the following day it was readjusted.

The second day was great, bartenders worked hard and even took beverage orders from way on the other side of the pool and brought them over to us and many other small groups of people several times during the day. However at 5pm we were told there was no more ice and they were no longer preparing mojitos or daquiris and the bar was preparing to shut down soon.

At dinner I wanted the butternut squash ravioli to accompany the ribeye entree because it did not have a starch and was told there was a limit on the entree one per person. When I inquired why is that the case if it's an all inclusive also the policy was not stated on the menu the server said it was a new policy put in place by the general manager. I was very disappointed. We were not trying to abuse the service just simply have options available to us if we did not like the original options paired with the entrees.
However the culinary team were the stars during this stay. They did a great job the food was amazing at all the restaurants and outlets. Especially the desserts a job well done.

I visited The Warwick to treat myself before starting a new job and for the most part it was a very pleasurable stay. It did start off a little rocky though. I was not pleased with my room initially. It had a very disruptive noise emanating from a nearby mechanical closet or at least that's what I thought because I couldn't determine the cause, but it was a continuous dull hum that takes away from the island experience for sure. You want peace and quiet in your room on a vacation. The room also had an adjoining door (which was locked) but it was still unnerving. The bathroom had an odd configuration as well. There was a wedding party on my floor which made it a bit noisy but I didn't mind that much as I like to see people happy. My view also left a lot to be desired. The top of a building and a bit of a tennis court. Womp, womp.

After two days I was able to get an upgrade. When I stepped into my new room all was forgiven. The view of the pool and harbor from the balcony was gorgeous and took my breath away. In fact I could see as far away as the Atlantis resort which was nearby. I forgot the name of the associate who helped me, but she was lovely and kept checking in on me which I appreciated.

Also included in the room upgrade was a minibar which was stocked with water, beer, wine and snacks.

Now to the resort itself. The pool and grounds are lovely and well kept. Masks were worn and there were more than enough sanitizer stations to make guests feel safe.

The pool bar was always hopping and the bartenders could make you anything you wanted. Loved them!

The makeshift beach was cute and I laid out there a few days, but I preferred Cabbage Beach and they have a free shuttle that can get you there in five minutes. The people were so nice and friendly! At the resort and at the beaches. I traveled solo, but met a few people and was able to hang out and have fun just as if we had traveled together.

The food? It was just okay. I did like some of the food at the pool cafe (Asian wings, conch fritters were delish), but I didn't get a chance to eat at all of the restaurants due to COVID restrictions on spacing so that was a bummer. There are other options at other resorts and restaurants nearby though so all was not lost.

I would definitely recommend this resort and I would come back. Make sure you get a room with a balcony and you're golden!

We have gone “somewhere warm” for New Years the last four years. This trip didn’t disappoint! We started with a warm greeting from the front desk and had the pleasure of being checked in by Ashton. He was very personable and answered all our questions with a great bohemian flair. We were then given Warwick’s specialty drink and told we could add some rum to our next one if we preferred an adult beverage. Did I mention adult? This entire resort is ADULT! Not a raunchy meat market, but instead a nice couples sanctuary! So many couples we spoke to during our adventures out and about were so disappointed with the other locations they were staying. Most complained about parents ending the supervision of their children at the front door and letting them run. Sounded like they were staying in a McDonalds play place! The resorts I am talking about are $750 a night and higher resorts such as Atlantis, Grand Hyatt, etc. Not so at the Warwick! This is for adults! The rooms were reasonable and similar to other locations we have stayed. Yes, you can hear people in the hall and adjacent rooms, but that is normal unless you want to pay for a stand alone bungalow in Bora Bora. Who wants to stay in their room in a place like this anyway? So we ventured out into the night after getting settled in our room. We like to dress up and were seated in the Italian restaurant. All the wait staff were happy to see us and kept our water full. Our dinner experiences were wonderful! This was all made possible by Quinn. He took care of us for our entire stay and definitely made this trip one of our best stays. We finished our PADI open water certifications with Bahama Divers and Warwick could not have been a more convenient location for that. They are literally on the other side of the Sidney Poitier Bridge. Bahama Divers sent a shuttle to come get us and return us to the hotel. All four dives were incredible and included a shipwreck! We did our snorkeling on our last full day with Seahorse Sailing and Snorkel. They took us out on a 50’ catamaran to another reef and we spent a great afternoon sailing back. I could not miss this opportunity to thank Jamell. He was truly exceptional and so helpful in getting us where we needed to go. He went out of his way to make our visit to the Warwick unforgettable. Go Eagles! (and Chiefs of course!) Thank you Warwick for such a great experience!

My husband and I spent two nights at the Warwick in celebration of my birthday.
The staff at Warwick is welcoming and very attentive. The service was great our entire stay. The staff ensured that all areas are properly sanitized and that guests follow the necessary Covid protocols. The pool area is beautiful. The presentation of the food and drinks at all restaurants and bars is top notch. I highly recommend the Warwick. We plan to return in the near future.
