Reception at this hotel is a very weak link.
Hotel reception called me as I was waiting to board to say the hotel was overbooked and they were either going to put me in a central Barcelona hotel or cancel my reservation. They then said that Expedia had only sent the reservation through 15 minutes before which was untrue as I had (a) received an email confirming my requests from the hotel reception a month beforehand and (b) called both central reservations and the hotel reception to confirm my reservation with them two days beforehand and they had found the reservation with the Expedia reservation number, I told them to listen to their telephone recordings and the girl gracelessly said “we will do our best to accomodate you”. An appalling start to a holiday.
The day before I left I agreed with reception that I could keep my room on until 1pm. Just after 12 on departure day reception called demanding why I wasn’t out of the room when check out was at 12 noon. I said I had agreed 1pm and a note was in my reservation. There was a pause the girl apologised.
Lack of communication and outright lying by saying they had not received Expedia’s reservation.
And picking on a single woman traveller. Truly? Could not recommend this hotel because of this.

Great location, breakfast buffet was ok but it lacked Spanish specialties.
The rooms were comfortable, the housekeeping and staff was very friendly and professional. The small pool was enough to chill and to enjoy a morning sun but too bad they close it at 8pm even on summer time.

This is by far the worst experience i’ve ever had. We get in to hard faced staff demanding a physical credit card, to which after back and forth they accepted we didnt have. The ‘superior’ room we have is facing concrete and has no working air con. The beds are two singles pushed together. Apparently they are fully booked so nothing can be done about the room. We go to look at the pool.. the pool is closed? I asked reception as this was the only reason i booked it and they relayed its open in the summer season, and is stated on their website. Summer season is not stated by months ANYWHERE.

Great hotel, around €40 each way from the airport.
Decent location and L4 metro is a 15 min walk which will get you around easily (when not on maintenance shut down!)
Try and coincide arrival for 3pm as you can’t get in before then. Reception staff 100% spot on, helpful and friendly. Same with breakfast staff and cleanliness, brilliant!
Bar staff a bit cold, but not enough to write anything negative.
Overall very good and served as the base for a good trip

I had a nice stay at the end of August/September 2023. The room was comfortable, but be aware, for example, that a double bed is actually two single beds next to each other (situation in my room, not sure about others). Part of the hotel has windows near the road and better noise isolation would be good. On the other hand, you will meet friendly and helpful staff.The small pool on the roof of the hotel is great for refreshment and relaxation.

They told me one breakfast price when arriving and when Im about to pay at the end of the week it was more than 100 euros more expensive than they told me. I remember even double checking when we got the offer in the beginning of the week (about the price) and he in the reception told me a way cheaper price than It actually ended up being. Totally unacceptable!

We booked a weekend away with this hotel for my wife’s 40th. It was a two night stay. In the end, the flight was delayed by over 8 hours it wasn’t worth going due to limited time there. I phoned the hotel informing them we couldn’t make it and asked via our booking agent to see if the hotel would give us a little refund for our second night as it was more than 24 hours away. We’ve been told they are unable to do this. Clearly we made the decision, but felt the hotel could have been a little more supportive. The hotel looked lovely and we were looking forward to going. After guaranteeing to add a fourth night under the same conditions as the other three, at the end of the third day they went back on their word. They created a very difficult situation for me, at the last minute. Good location, close to the beach. Big and spacious rooms with a great bed. Nice and friendly staff. In the area there are some great restaurantes for good lunches or dinners. We decided to rent bikes to be able to get around, the metro is about 900 m away, and you had several options to rent from in the proximities

Good place in front of the sea, even though the view isn't that great. Rooms were a bit expensive for comparaison to other hotels in town. But still great place. Location is okay for Barceloneta if you want to walk by the sea for 30 mins crossing the casino and the nightclubs in beach. Subway is at 10 mins walking.

The hotel is mainly located in a residential area - if you live in a town it’s much like that - if you want a busy nightlife and clubs you will need to be located in the centre of town near La Rambla or in the vicinity of. Otherwise you may be disappointed
