Visited with friends on a Jet2 city break. After initially being allocated the worse room in the hotel (132) by 2 of the most hardfaced receptionists I have come across, we where saved from a dismal stay by Guest Experience Manager Melanie who reallocated us to a lovely room. That moan aside, this hotel has a very good position on the Platja Mar Bella, making it suitable as both a beach and sight seeing hotel. Apart from the 2 aforementioned staff all the other members of staff were friendly and helpful especially the cleaning staff. The breakfast was good and offered a wide choice. The rooftop pool was quite small but pleasant that had thankfully been kept open out of season. There were free towels and sun beds for about a dozen people. Plenty of reasonably priced and good quality tapas bars within a short walk.

I booked two rooms pre cruise for two couples. We asked for a quiet room and were given a high story upgraded room. We booked breakfast in with our stay. The room was lovely and the breakfast very generous with hot breakfast items and a lovely selection of cold buffet items even Cava.

We travelled back home two weeks later after the cruise and the hotel very generously allowed us to use their facilities as we had a later flight.

This hotel is exceptional value and the staff very helpful and accommodating. A special mention to Ripsi who helped organise this for us.

Had a great stay here. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the Barcelo app was really useful. The pool/bar area was relaxing and the beach just across the road was surprisingly good - really clear water and a clean stretch of sand. You're a bit out from the centre here but the metro is only a few blocks away and is a short/direct trip into centre which was handy. Bit of works going to the facade of the hotel during our stay, but wasn't too disruptive which was a relief. Lots of little cafes and beach bars nearby as well.
