We come here often to eat because food is very tasty, staff is always super friendly and price is affordable. Interior is nice and they have also big terrace. They are offering menu del dia - you get a lot of food and it is always good.

We stopped in for supper craving some fresh seafood and were not disappointed!
We started off with some patatas bravas (a favourite of ours); the garlic aioli and tomato sauce were wonderful. When we've had patatas bravas in the past at other restaurants, they were served as potato cubes or wedges; but here they were sort of fried thick potato slices. They were wonderfully crispy golden on the outside, but tender puffy on the inside! A nice surprise.
Our 9 year old daughter enjoyed the tagliatelle frutti di mare, and my husband and I ordered the seafood paella. It was fantastic! Delicious and hearty. The server suggested bringing our daughter her pasta early, since our paella would take a bit longer, so that she didn't have to wait too long to eat. This was very considerate of him, and a good suggestion.
After our meals, we were plenty satisfied, but our server managed to tempt us with the dessert tray. We ordered the chocolate mousse to share; it was worth it!
When presented with our bill, we were offered two different liqueurs to finish off our meal. They both smelled wonderful, but we chose one with a coffee-chocolate flavour. A great end to our meal and our evening!
It was actually our last night in Barcelona and Spain on this particular vacation, and it was a perfect send-off.

One of the best Mediterranean restaurant in Barcelona. Fresh, nice and delicious. Seafood soup is a state of art (for me at least). Olives mix is also very good as well as garlic shrimps and other seafood dishes. Highly recommend!

Was persuaded to enter by chap on door with the promise of good food. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. My husband and I ordered red prawn paella for 2. It was 26.50 each! We had 4 prawns each and when skinned were approx 20 mm long! The rice was bitter, hard and salty with nothing else added. We thought that in Barcelona our request for the national dish would have been much better. To compensate the waiter offered us sangria which we declined then brought us 4 glasses of ‘champagne’ which was not!
Our friends ordered cod fish and when they asked what it was served with the waiter said potatoes! No potatoes were served only some tomatoes and onions so they were disappointed too. Eventually after more complaints we were given 30€ off the bill! Will definitely not be returning!

The staff at La Marea was very attentive and accommodating. The food was excellent also. We had the grilled scallops and they were delicious. The brava sauce was unique and very tasty. The desserts were fabulous. We had creme brulee and triple chocolate. They even gave us a free shot at the end of dinner.

The restaurant was out of burrata for the salads and the server was unable know traditional after dinner drinks. Did not know Kaluah or frangelica. Copped a total attitude when asked for options. When asked about options he told us the area closed in 10 minutes. Poor service with the end of the meal but amazing service at the start.
Otherwise the massive seafood paella was amazing.

We had the paella de mariscos, if you like seafood, don’t bother, the rice is nice, but hardly any seafood, including the smallest mussels ever seen. The serving staff worked well, but I would not return. There is better value elsewhere.

Right place for a tasty and fresh seafood meal. Beach is just across the street, outside seating is available and when the season is right you will enjoy fresh air and good food mainly seafood. There is a full list of paellas but be aware the minimum size is for two people so, either you are brave and have one by yourself or bring the family or friends. Special mention for seafood soup and fried anchovies, don't miss them while you open the belt....Price is acceptable, staff is friendly and helpful, Don't miss this place.

The 4km walk along the barcelona beach boulevard was a great experience. It was a hot afternoon so we were looking forward to a nice drink and good food. La Marea didn't disappoint. It was late on a Monday night so wasn't overly busy. The fish soup was fantastic. It had a thick texture which they told us was due to how they reduce it with lobster. The mixed salad was incredible... every vegetable fresh and crunchy. The paella had a perfect light crusty on the bottom....Manu Feidel would be impressed. The service was fast and so friendly. We loved this place.

Pretty average paella.
There are a plethora of paella offerings in this area and since the place looked nice and the waiter friendly I gave it a go. Such a shame the seafood paella didn’t get close too what I was hoping for. Quite dry. Bland. And lacking in seafood.

Fantastic restaurant on the seashore with great fresh seafood (Spanish cuisine). We chose a 1,4kg Turbot (Rodaballo). Excellent service and advice provided by waiter Juan (a good listener). I will try out other restaurants of the SOLOH Group: ALADIN & ARABIA (Lebanese / Arabic Cuisine).

We stayed in a nearby hotel and visited twice. The staff and food were both excellent - it was relatively quiet but atmosphere was good. The scallops and paella were particularly nice and the wine recommended was great too.

It’s a good dinner with Spanish food. A Colombia staff shows lots of happiness to customer! Stuffs are really nice and makes me happy. Hope to see you next time.

Me and my partner went here for our last night for some classic paella and wine. Staff were lovely, wine was perfect, paella was tasty and fresh. Created a beautiful environment to connect and it was right by the beach to have a romantic walk after dinner!
