I had a short one night stop over with mum before we headed to Salou, as travelling can be hard for her.
Thought that booking the Hilton would give her the rest and needs that she required, but unfortunately for the total opposite.
We were given a room (407) which sided to the nightclub outside the hotel, which didn’t allow us to get any rest at all.
When mentioned to the staff at night and even in the morning, there were like yeh, there is a club and completely ignored it.
I really don’t understand how this rooms are allocated to the elderly and people who would like to rest and throughout our whole stay there was 0 empathy about it.
I was extremely disappointed and would certainly not recommend for those who would like to rest.

The hotel itself is clean and is perfectly located for nearby attractions. The difference maker for us was the staff. From check in to check out, the staff made a huge difference in making us feel welcomed. It was our first time in Barcelona and Rocia, who’s on the executive level, really took her time in helping us decide what to do. She displayed professionalism and patience in helping us and we felt she really cared about making sure we had a great stay.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. They have ease of accessibility to all means of transport and everything is available around the hotel. The food served through room service is really bad and overpriced. Even the housekeeping of the room is not up to the mark. We booked this hotel as a pre cruise night before embarking on our Celebrity cruise from Barcelona. We arrived late in the afternoon due to flight delays. It was so good to be able to be greeted by a smiling and cheerful front desk associate - Maurad. He checked us in very promptly. As well, he offered breakfast for the next morning as a slightly reduced rate by booking in advance. Understanding our situation with the delay, we were placed on the club level floor. The room was very modern and up to date. We were tired after the flight from the USA, so it was convenient that we could get snacks and drinks at the hotel. The breakfast in the morning had a full variety of food. We enjoyed our stay, and we do recommend this hotel.

Every single staff member at this hotel made us feel like family and they all went out of their way to help us and answer all of our questions. By far this is the nicest staff of any Hilton I have visited. Great stay and nice room!!! The even side room numbers are a little quieter and stay away from the rooms near the elevators.

There are better hotels in Barcelona. Especially for the price. The rooms were small and dated. Staff interactions are generally not as pleasant as i would have hoped for. Further their internet connection is purposely slowed down to make you have to put Hase a fast wifi package for an additional 7 eur per night. When spending 300 a night that feels cheap. The executive rooms and lounge are small and not really inviting. In short a stay which i will not repeat.

Returned to the Hilton Barcelona in January 2020 for a quick weekend meetup with a friend who had already booked his lodging here. Experience was better than my initial stay a few years ago; the check-in team was more responsive and overall, service seemed better. Did not receive an upgrade as a Diamond Member, but given the late reservation (on my part) and other difficulties, I was honestly happy to just have a room and access to the Exec Lounge was helpful for water and soda without having to work to hard. It is a European sized room, everything in the room was as desired and I was pleased by the experience as compared to my first visit to the establishment.

Modern Building next to Avenida Diagonal. The location is not too bad. Rooms are good, but would not book a room with access to the lounge. It is not worth it. I found the lounge a big disappointment and maybe the worst I have seen in any Hilton Hotel. Also only two small bottles water next to the coffee machine. Minibar empty. I asked for more water in the evening and was told I could drink tap water - it is save. Breakfast restaurant I felt very uncomfortalbe and stressed, but also as mentioned in the loung it is not good. Service staff ok but not friendly.

How disappointing to find such a dismal experience in the Executive Lounge. You would think that the fine culinary tradition of Barcelona would be represented at the evening cocktail hour. This may represent the worst display of any Executive Lounge that I have ever seen worldwide. Oily deep fried chicken, cheese and fish nuggets with dried tired tiny sandwiches. Food not being kept warm so these fried nuggets are cold soon after they are served. Disappointing for sure. Bar with white and red wine NO Cava in Penedes go figure. No F&B Manager ever showed up. Gin, Scotch and vodka also available to wash down the food.

The location of this hotel is excellent. There is a subway/metro station 2 blocks away that will get you to every part of the city within minutes. There are restaurants, stores & even a mall within 1 block. I highly recommend this hotel & will definitely stay here again.

I think they have USB chargers, but I had my own adoptor for my laptop. This may also depend on the type of room offered (e.g., executive floor)..
As a past guest can confirm that there are taxis waiting very close to the hotel in its courtyard or you can hail a taxi from the main road literally in front of the hotel. From the cruise, when people dis-embark, there is long line of taxis waiting for passengers. We took a taxi from the hotel to the Cruiseport and it was a quick 15-20 min ride from the hotel.
