We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Barcelona. The location is not directly by "the tourist attractions" - which we liked! But easy taxi ride to wherever you need to go in the city. Very short taxi from the airport too.

The room, we had a suite, was clean and very large. Breakfast buffet was great. We enjoyed the Concierge Lounge as Diamond members. Good products and good variety. Service in the Lounge was also very nice attendees.

While housekeeping did a very nice job each day, leaving daily bottles of water would have been a nice touch for Hilton Honors members. (there were bottles upon arrival but they were not replenished during our stay)

I used the fitness center on 2 occasions and it was hot! Way too warm to be comfortable unless in you're doing "Hot Yoga".

The other minor issue was our room keys. On 4 different occasions we needed to visit the front desk for replacement keys because one or more of our room keys either didn't work at all, or would not work on the 4th floor for the lounge.

I would also like to point out the amazing job "MONICA" at the front desk did. She helped us with various pieces of information as well as helped us makes important reservations for a show we attended. Monica is amazing and so friendly.

Overall we were very satisfied with our stay at the Hilton Barcelona property. I would recommend.

I have stayed in room 206 from 18th-20th September. Smooth checkin (no extras were offered as I am only silver member in Hilton Honors) , friendly service, room is good (nothing fancy). The hotel location is goof on Diagonal street,
The wifi is seriously bad, it reminds me of 10 years ago, as the speed of download is 0.8 Mbps, not good even for browsing, the higher speed internet is for 7 Euros per day!!! Should have expected better from Hilton, and for the room rate paid.
I have booked in advance, and paid the amount of booking. Howevet, surprisingly, I found extra charge by the reception on the first day, about 45 Euros, I called the reveption and they apologized and reversed it. On checkout I was requested to pay again 45Euros, I argued that this can not be right, even the folio showed the same.
I found the reservation email, and showed the reception that they are over charging me 45 Euros, which is not correct, he requested me to send the email to thr supervisor in order to reverse the money.

This should not happen in Hilton 5 stars hotel, thr hotel business is very competitive, and eventually these small matters make big difference with occupancy.

We decided to spend our wedding anniversary in Barcelona and we could have not chosen better!

The hotel has a great choice: very good location on Avenida Diagonal, within short walking distance from public transport, next to a large shopping centre.

We were immediately upgraded to a suite (based on my Diamond status) and all staff was more than courteous throughout our stay. Breakfast is very rich and very fresh. The executive lounge is conveniently located and fresh food is always served. The suite was always cleaned impeccably and fresh water provided.

Overall we truly felt spoiled and at home. I highly recommend Hilton Barcelona as the best value for money in the town!

Highly recommend this hotel apart from breakfast! We had breakfast the first day but for the rest we went to Starbucks which is next door. Staff who we interacted with at the front desk and at the bar were very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is in a very good location, 5 min walk to the metro and the line takes you to las rambla in about 10minutes. There are sightseeing bus stops for 2 different companies, again within a few mins walk from the hotel. I would stay here again.

I've been in this Hotel once. I had traveled to Barcelona for business and 3 persons were with me. so we took 4 rooms. it was amazing. every thing was clean and the rooms were cozy and quiet. when we arrived at hotel and fil out the forms, they asked us to deposit 60 Euro for each room for minibar and I payed them. I asked them to gave me a receipt ,but the man who was responsible in reception said: you don't need receipt and when you'll come for checking out, we will pay it back to you.
after 4 days, in early morning a van come to takes my friends and I to the airport. all of us came to lobby. one of us took the key cards and went to reception for checking out. I was busy with my phone and we got in to the van.
when i asked about deposit, he said: I didn't know about deposit and also Hotel's staff didn't tell me anything about that. we were far from the hotel and we hadn't enough time to return. I called them many Times and sent them some emails, but they never gave me the answer.
and unfortunately, because of the man, I haven't any evidence (receipt) to show.

They didn’t clean the room on 2 occasions and I had to call a few times to get that fixed. They didn’t clean the room at all one day and just sent one big towel and one small hand towel to the room when we have 2 people. They forgot the complimentary water bottles.

We stayed here a couple of nights due to an issue we had with an air bnb.

The hotel is a little way away from the centre however it is still very easy to get to the centre.

The metro is 5 minutes walk and on L3 (Maria Cristina) and it takes about 15 minutes to get to la Rambla.

The bed was comfy as was the room and bathroom, the staff were friendly and the hotel was quiet being the weekend.

Only one complaint was the cleaners were a tad noisy but that was all.

Would happily stay again.

As a first timer in Barcelona, choosing this Hilton was our only mistake. The positives were the restaurant for breakfast was absolutely incredible. Most people at the front desk were friendly. The negatives were many. Fist, we are Hilton Diamond members. The rooms are rather small, but it is a city so we expected that. It is on the older side. The soap dish was broken off in the shower and the toilet ran all night long. It actually broke and supposedly they fixed it, but it broke and ran the next night too. The executive floor was used as a place for arrivals to sleep while they waited for their rooms. Which wasn’t great for us because of our room location. Room 416. Also, everything is locked all day. You can’t even have a glass of water. The concierge was there a few of the days. She was nice and helpful. The location is not close to tourist attractions. It is a few block walk to the subway and a 15-20 minute ride to that part of town. The worst part of the trip was a lady at the front desk, Monica. I asked for a bottle of water and she let me know that in no uncertain terms that I only get one bottle when I check in. I told her that the executive longe locks it and she said i could have water from 6-8 Hellopm and at breakfast, but other than that I would have to purchase it. She couldn’t have been ruder! As a Diamond member I would think I could have water. Friends of ours stayed at the curio Hilton downtown and said it was central and lovely. Our stay was for 5 nights. I probably wouldn’t have written this review if Monica wasn’t so rude and we could have a new bottle of water each day we were there. The place is clean and if you were doing business or going to the university the location would be good. The stars are for the restaurant!

By far the worst Hilton hotel I have ever been to. No possibility of getting fresh breakfast items on request like omelette, scrambled eggs etc. The executive lounge is supposed to be open till 11 pm. One day when I tried, at 9:30 pm everything was already closed (except the coffee machine). Room service has not vacuumed throughout the entire stay of 3 nights even though there were visible scattered items/dust on the floor. Good location (lot of commute possibilities), quite a good and fast connection to the airport too.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect, near the main attractions, the bus stop of the touristic bus is at the door. The personal is really kind and friendly. The bed, the pillows are amazing. I would be grateful if they take care more of the environment (less plastic, do not change the towels every day). It's a perfect stay highly recommended.

I think they have USB chargers, but I had my own adoptor for my laptop. This may also depend on the type of room offered (e.g., executive floor)..

As a past guest can confirm that there are taxis waiting very close to the hotel in its courtyard or you can hail a taxi from the main road literally in front of the hotel. From the cruise, when people dis-embark, there is long line of taxis waiting for passengers. We took a taxi from the hotel to the Cruiseport and it was a quick 15-20 min ride from the hotel.

Hi Glen, To be honest I'm not too sure I can answer your question. You'd be better advised to talk directly with the Hilton Barcelona. I suspect they may well be able to accommodate your request as by the time you get there from Barcelona Airport they may well have availability for you to check in.
