WOW!! What a great location..if you're going to Barcelona and would like to stay at, what I would call, centrally located hotel, pick this Hilton. The staff was welcoming and helpful without coming across as being less than genuine. Special kudos to the server in the restaurant, wish I could recall her name, she was terrific!! She was the only dark hair female host/server so she will be easy to spot..great service!! Check in/out staff also very good and helpful. The host working the lounge also went out of her way to greet and make the HHDiamond members staying on the fourth floor feel taken care off. The only minor problem occurred at the lounge when I tried to get a glass of cold water and all the cold drink holders were locked. The lounge attendant called for the keys and a grumpy older gentleman came to unlock the fridges but not before complaining about how those fridges were locked at a certain time and then open much later. He was quite loud about that to the point that the lounge hostess had to apologize for this persons lack of tack. Most Hiltons that I have stayed before usually have the fridges open for guests to get cold bottles of water or juice, don't see why this Hilton locks the fridges. My room was clean, comfortable and the a/c worked very well. Bottom line: great place to stay!!!

I stayed at the Hilton Barcelona for two days in July. I found the location excellent, near shops, on an important main street, and easy to get to. The hotel is modern, but needs some updates. There were problems with the elevators and the access to floors. And while the room was comfortable and functional, it felt cold and impersonal. I did love the size of the bath. And my view from the window was stellar and worth the room price. The staff seemed to be mostly interns who seemed distant and not familiar with the city. I also was interrupted twice by staff asking if my room was made even though it had been made earlier in the day. All in all, I would think about staying here next time, although I selected this hotel because of its location to my meetings.

We found the hotel to be in a good position, hop on hop off bus stop very close. Shopping centres including a supermarket a few minutes away. Stayed three nights before a cruise. We felt safe when we went out at night the area seemed quiet. We had issues with the beds, the sofa bed I slept on very uncomfortable the bed that was brought in for my grandson was so hard he couldn't get to sleep we asked for an extra quilt for him to lie on which helped slightly and the lovely King size bed my daughter slept in was also very hard and made her back ache. We had the use of the lounge as we had a junior suite this was great and we enjoyed the snacks and happy hour when we could have an alcoholic drink. The breakfasts were also good lots of choice and good quality. Helpful waitress who brought us coffee one morning helped to make it a lovely experience. The reception staff were helpful but sometimes there was a language barrier My friend had a bad experience whilst we were out site seeing as a pick pocket tried to take her purse and then spat on her, we were aware of this problem and had purchased bum bags for this reason but they are very skilled so be extra vigilant . The trip was good though and if we returned we wouldn't hesitate to book the Hilton again.

Booked here in August for my wife's 50th - thought I was booking the other Hilton in Barcelona - both are on Diagonal street so be careful on that.
This hotel is great in terms of location to stores, the metro and tram system and local cusine. Even though the rooms are a bit small they are well done and the beds are comfortable - how much time does one really spend in the room.
Executive lounge is good with free internet and 2 hours of food and drink - this could be longer - say from 5 to 8.
Breakfast was fantastic with alot to choose from.
The staff were very friendly and great - not one negative experience.
The Director of Sales - Rory was professional and went out of his way to meet me and make alternate arrangements to transfer hotels. This was incredible as it was my wife's 50th and he was under no obligation to do so.
If you are in Barcelona for a while I would suggest splitting your stay between the two Hilton's as you get to see different parts of the town and culture.
The only thing that would make this hotel a 5 star would be a outdoor pool and rooftop terrace.

Great hotel! First...let me say the staff are ALL super stars. Everyone we encountered had a huge smile and were eager to please and help. The concierge lounge had to be one if not the best I’ve encountered. From the authentic Spanish tapas and wine to the superb staff providing the food and service. The room was very stylish and comfortable. We were one block from the metro which made getting around Barcelona very easy. The hop on hop off picked up right in front of the hotel. When I go back to Barcelona I will not look for another place to stay. This was perfect. Enjoy Barcelona. Ole’

Greetings from Barcelona and my apologies for the late reply.
As indicated in the description, we are located near the Camp Nou Stadium, home to the FC Barcelona. Gothic Quarter is 20 minutes away from the hotel by car/taxi and 30-35 minutes by metro or bus. Metro facilities are just 5 minutes away (walk) from the hotel, direct line towards Colon Monument (L3, green line) and bus stop is 3 minutes (walk) from the hotel main door, will imply 1 stop in Paseo de Gracia.
As per your request about our rooms, and kindly advised by captainnole, the size are of our rooms is enough for two. Room types at your disposal are:
Guestrooms, 25sqm, amenities included, with mineral water and coffee/tea servings.
Sky view rooms, plus located in the to floors.
Executive rooms, 27sqm, featured with bathrobes, slippers, coffee machine, parking for one vehicle and premium WiFi.
Junior Suite, 53sqm, plus a living area with tv. 2 different spaces.
Alcove Suite, 50sqm, open space concept with a living area.
Guests staying in Executive rooms and Suites enjoy preferential access to the Executive Lounge, open 7am to 10pm. Breakfast also for these room types in both the Lounge or the Restaurant.
