We chose the Hilton Barcelona for our 5-night visit to Barcelona because we were able to use HHonors points for a free stay. At first we weren’t sure of the location, but it turned out to be quite good. The Metro stop is close by, and the neighborhood is quite upscale. The service was outstanding, and our room and complementary breakfasts met the high standards of other Hilton Hotels where we’ve stayed. The hotel desk/reservation staff, who served as concierge, did an excellent job helping us plan our daily activities. The last evening of our stay, one of the staff told us about a charming plaza with a tapas restaurant just two blocks south of the bustle of Diagonal Avenue. We never would have known about it without the staff’s assistance.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Barcelona. The location is not directly by "the tourist attractions" - which we liked! But easy taxi ride to wherever you need to go in the city. Very short taxi from the airport too.
The room, we had a suite, was clean and very large. Breakfast buffet was great. We enjoyed the Concierge Lounge as Diamond members. Good products and good variety. Service in the Lounge was also very nice attendees.
While housekeeping did a very nice job each day, leaving daily bottles of water would have been a nice touch for Hilton Honors members. (there were bottles upon arrival but they were not replenished during our stay)
I used the fitness center on 2 occasions and it was hot! Way too warm to be comfortable unless in you're doing "Hot Yoga".
The other minor issue was our room keys. On 4 different occasions we needed to visit the front desk for replacement keys because one or more of our room keys either didn't work at all, or would not work on the 4th floor for the lounge.
I would also like to point out the amazing job "MONICA" at the front desk did. She helped us with various pieces of information as well as helped us makes important reservations for a show we attended. Monica is amazing and so friendly.
Overall we were very satisfied with our stay at the Hilton Barcelona property. I would recommend.

Great location for this hotel. The Bus stop was right out front, easy walk to a local church square with 4 cafes, very cool local vibe there. The front desk was exceptional, as were porters and concierge service. The executive lounge was also top notch. The only issue we had was the rooms cooling was on a timer we could not override and it got rather hot a couple mornings. To be fair I never complained, and feel they mostl likely would have addressed my concern. Sara at the front desk offered us concerige services and was extremely helpful. Room was clean and well accommodated. I had notice on some previous reviews complaints on slow elevators. We stayed by choice on the second floor. We never noticed any overly long waits or out of service elevators, so be bold and go for that upper floor. Would pick this hotel on a return trip without even looking elsewhere.

Great hotel. Close metro to La Rambla. Executive level concierge was terrific! Stayed for four days before cruise and two days after. B'st is fantastic by hotel standards. Way above what we are accustomed to in similar properties in the US.

Stayed at this hotel recently for business + leisure.
Room was very comfortable, excellent bed. As others have said: all-round good quality and convenience as one would expect of a Hilton hotel. What made the stay special for me: the friendliness and care of staff - from Reception through Housekeeping, Room Service, Concierge, Bar and restaurant - everyone was friendly and helpful.This continued even after I left: Hotel staff managed to find an item of jewellery I had lost in the hotel and spared no effort in making sure it reached me safely. (Special thanks to the kind person who found it and to Sheila N from the Guest Service Centre) Truly exceptional care.
