This was not my first time in Hilton Barcelona. The hotel may not be in the middle of the Gothic quarter or Ramblas or close to the seaside, but it is very convenient for both and, at the same time, not in the mid of noise. The airport is also conveniently 20 minutes ride away.
The hotel is business oriented and gives a formal feeling, but that's the case with all Hiltons. Rooms are cosy a nice with great Hilton beds. The staff is professional and efficient. Breakfast was lovely, with a good food choice, but it can get pretty crowded and peak times.
I would stay again.

Unfortunately, Hilton Barcelona is the worst experience I have ever had all over the world at Hiltons as a Diamond member. Room ementies were not enough. Breakfast is only for local people, it isn't international and trouist friendly. You can always hear noise from next rooms.

This hotel was located not too far of a walk from most major attractions. You can pickup the hop on hop off bus from nearby. There is also plenty of taxis outside, and the hotel is always willing and able to call for one for you. The breakfast is lovely and the staff are so nice. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Executive lounge for Diamond members is also quite nice. I’d stay here again

This was my second time staying. I am a gold member with Hilton. Water bottles have never been a issue but in this hotel Water bottles are a rare commodity in this hotel. The staff is amazing but helpless because apparently the GM has restricted the water bottles even though you stay there for a week. On a second stay the pillows and bedsheet stank. I stayed in intercontinentals during this vacation and it was an amazing experience. The price was the same. I only came back to Hilton due to my status. I think I will be moving to other brands going forward.

We stayed there for three nights. The hotel is in a good location close to the shopping mall. The room was clean and reasonably spacious, even with a bathtub. Breakfast was average, with a kind staff. Even though we made our reservation three months in advance and asked for the highest possible floor, we were given the 1st floor /the lowest/. The receptionist who made our check-in could have been more helpful. Otherwise, for the money we paid, it was a good option.

Hilton Barcelona is one of the renowned Hilton hotels worldwide. Unfortunately, there was an incident where the hotel mistakenly provided keys to the wrong guests, causing a sense of insecurity in the middle of the night. Despite seeking assistance, the hotel was unable to resolve the issue, leading to a decision to change hotels for personal safety. The reception "manager" displayed a lack of service and understanding, wrongly attributing aggression and rudeness to the situation. It is disheartening to have strangers attempting to access your room at night. Consequently, I will not be staying at Hilton Barcelona again, as it was the poorest Hilton experience I have encountered.
On a positive note, Hilton Diagonal stands in stark contrast with exceptional service-oriented staff. I felt secure and well taken care of during my stay there.

Nice property. Rooms are spacious and clean but not so large, self contained with Iron, ironing table, hair-dryer, mini-bar etc. There's a metro station very close to this hotel and also a large shopping mall with 5 minutes walking distance. If you want to go to La Rambla, it would be a long walk of 40 to 50 minutes. There are lot of restaurants, cafes, bars and bakeries near by. Just opposite to this hotel there's a McDonalds.
I had breakfast from Mosaic restaurant, it was great, lot of hot foods in the buffet. The lobby is small, the lift is small too but I would still give them a very high rating because of their staff, especially the front desk staff, very friendly, professional and quick! I had a memorable stay!

Needs some updating. Staff were fine but not outstanding. Lifts were awful - too small, too few and too unreliable for such a large facility. Room key would - repeatedly - stop working, necessitating more trips down those dreadful lifts to get a new key.

The room was just ok. This hotel seems to be for people either going on cruises or returning. The concierge level lounge was disappointing. The soft drinks were locked away all day until 6pm (not one minute sooner) Then locked up again at 8pm. Coffee was the only beverage available. Lobby is lovely as was the bar. The complimentary breakfast was very nice. We are platinum level, so we have a lot of Hiltons to compare with.

I stayed here for two nights after my Greek islands cruise ended in Barcelona. I have been to Barcelona many times so I prefer to stay on the outskirts of the city center and Hilton Barcelona is a perfect place. It’s only 5 minutes walk to the Metro station and within 15 minutes, you are already in the La Rambla area. Room is on the smaller size . Although I was a Hilton Diamond member , the hotel wasn’t able to upgrade my room as they were running at full capacity. The only thing they were able to do was to put me on the floor where the member lounge is located. I guess it’s more convenience for me to access the lounge. The lounge is rather small and they only serve drinks (both alcoholic and non alcoholic) during certain hours. After that, they locked the refrigerators , which is rather strange (for non alcoholic beverages). Breakfast is free for Diamond members and the quality is fine. I give four stars for this hotel and would definitely return again …

I think they have USB chargers, but I had my own adoptor for my laptop. This may also depend on the type of room offered (e.g., executive floor)..
As a past guest can confirm that there are taxis waiting very close to the hotel in its courtyard or you can hail a taxi from the main road literally in front of the hotel. From the cruise, when people dis-embark, there is long line of taxis waiting for passengers. We took a taxi from the hotel to the Cruiseport and it was a quick 15-20 min ride from the hotel.

I suspect they may well be able to accommodate your request as by the time you get there from Barcelona Airport they may well have availability for you to check in.
