This hotel is connected to the Schiphol Amsterdam airport, which had been quite convenient due to the storm I’ve faced on my arrival (my trip continued next morning only).

We had such a difficult travel experience but thankfully they made us feel so welcome and comfortable! Laila greeted us and we were so grateful for an early check in. The room was so clean! The room was updated and so clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on in a hotel! Good job! One thing I was surprised with was how quiet the rooms were. We were on second floor facing the airport and I expected more traffic noise but I did not hear anything! The hotel was easy to find and was literally a 2 min walk away, which means it is also very accessible to the train (train is very easy to find and use in the city). We were able to enjoy breakfast as well and it was so tasty, what a good omelet! Just a good experience overall! We will be back if ever traveling through!

This was our second or third time staying at this hotel but definitely the best. It began with the good fortune of being checked in by Antonio at the front desk. We had kind of a complicated situation, a four day stay consisting of two different reservations in each of our names. He made it simple using his friendliness and 15 years of experience to make sure we could keep the same room during our stay without having to check out of one reservation and check in again to the other. He recognized my Titanium status and thanked me for my loyalty with early check in, lounge access and complimentary breakfast. After mentioning how much we like stroopwafels, he arranged to have some delivered to our room. While every person we encountered this stay was professional and helpful, Antonio stood out not only at this property but in our recent memory of other hotels we have stayed at this past year.
The location was perfect since we did several day trips by train during this stay. With the wonderful train system in the Netherlands, this hotel is within 45 minutes of almost anywhere and 20 minutes to Amsterdam Centraal. Of course it is most convenient when flying out of Schipol, just a 5 minute walk through inside corridors.
The room was a club room, a little bigger than the standard one. The beds were super comfortable and the bath and shower were spacious. I highly recommend the Sheraton if you are looking for a central location that is not necessarily in city center.

The best location if you have an early flight. Beautiful hotel. Very friendly staff.
However, when can we get decent air conditioning in hotels? The room is way too warm and the air conditioning doesn’t do much at all. The windows don’t open so you think you spend €€ to get a good nights sleep before your long haul flight but no…
The breakfast is an embarrassment for the price this hotel charges. In fact I stayed in budget hotels offering better breakfast. Horrible coffee, mediocre food which is not well prepared. No surprises whatsoever in terms of offerings, dishes etc.
Lastly, when you check in, the hotel takes a reservation of 50 euros on top of your room rate on your credit card. FTW is that? Do they think I leave without paying my drinks at the bar?

I stayed here for 1 night for a conference.
Pros: The rooms were clean, modern, elegantly decorated and a generous size. Comfortable beds and pillows. Quiet room and had a very good night sleep. The bathroom was extremely clean and functional with a huge shower. Food in the restaurant was good quality. Very easy to get there from the airport (in the same building). The hotel implemented covid safety measures, eg politely asked guests to wear masks in public areas.
Cons:
Fitness centre was unavailable (closed for refurbishment) when I travelled which was a shame. I wasn't aware of this prior to travel so I recommend checking if this is something you wish to use.
You have to pay extra if you want late check out, which I appreciate is standard in a lot of hotels, but it was a high cost per hour.
I had a problem with my key card which would not let me into my room several times. I was sent back and forth from reception 3 times, each time being assured it would work this time, only to not be able to get in again. My room was quite a way from reception and this was inconvenient as it made me late for my meeting. I fed this back to the hotel who apologised.

This hotel works perfectly for train to or from Amsterdam Centrum and Schiphol Airport. Had full day in Amsterdam, then early flight departure next day. This hotel is clean with very professional staff. Complimentary coffee and croissants were available in the reception area very early in the morning. It is an easy walk to the airport. We would definitely stay here again.

You can’t get a more convenient hotel when in and out on business. Food is good. The breakfast is great. Staff is incredibly nice. But this is the only hotel I know of in the world that charges you 50 euros to check in early. Every time I come and stay here I want to leave with a good feeling about it and every time the petty extra fee just bothers me.
It’s not like if you check in after check in time of 3pm they discount your stay to make it fair. Their occupancy rate has to be high 90 plus percent. So it’s a good choice to stay just know they are cheap and out to get as many euros from your pocket as they can instead of doing what all the other hotels do and try to build goodwill and their brand and repeat business by being nice and accommodating.

This location is perfect, especially for people not focusing on Amsterdam (the city center is a 15-20 minute train ride).
The room was perfectly clean and quite roomy, even for an American in Europe. Gym, elevators, lobby, restaurant, lounge — all were pristine.
Each staff member I came into contact with tried their best to help me and make my stay as smooth as possible. I repeatedly asked for their help to find an item I lost and they never made me feel like an annoyance.
Huge thanks to Antonio for the smooth reception, to Amre for the excellent activity suggestions, and to Hannah for the attentive and friendly service at the Stripes restaurant, as well as the rest of the restaurant staff.
The amenity of luggage storage is a big help when trying to travel light to other locations in Europe. Add that to the location right in the airport and above the train platforms and exploration becomes a breeze.
TLDR: The hotel is very clean, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast is excellent, and the location makes it a great base to explore the area and neighboring countries.

Booked one night before our trip back to Canada, so we could avoid traffic jams the day of flying!
Nice hotel and very quiet, big surprise with all the flights right above you!
Breakfast buffet is very good and lots of room to sit down.
We upgraded when we arrived so had access to the lounge which was the only disappointment of the hotel.
There should be somebody at the door to check guests and there should be staff to keep an eye on food and cleaning tables.
There were 2 groups that drank so much…all the beer was gone and not restocked and some of them bragged they came in with friends who had the access code.
Would still use the hotel next time and recommend!

No you will need adapters , they do however have usb points on some of the plug sockets for phone charging and Apple Watches etc .
