Write a reviewWe stayed at the Sheraton for only 1 night because we had a very early flight and needed a place close to the airport. Rooms are comfortable and modern. The bathroom has a great rain shower. And even though it is right next to the airport , you don't hear the planes because it is sound proof. The lounge is nice too. Silvana helped us to check in and everything went smoothly. As we were leaving the next day very early, Silvana helped us with breakfast bags. That was so nice and thoughtful of her. She was really nice and friendly and she is a great asset for the hotel. I will definitely stay there again.

Well I have stayed at this property a few times and enjoy it more each time. The breakfast is always consistent with plenty to pick from. The club lounge is perfect with a little more then finger food and plenty of drinks.
The gym is a good size and it has a large co-ed sauna/shower/relax area.

Stayed overnight to catch a plane to the US after traveling for 3.5 weeks. Was a very nice, refreshing stay. Excellent and friendly bar service. Walk up a ramp from the airport and you are there.........easy and quick.

I was staying for one night in the hotel, check-in and check-out took a lot of time, the room was ok (sheraton standard), some smelling out of the toilet (usual in most of the big buildings..). The bar and the restaurant were very unorganized and the furniture was old and not really organized, does not provide any comfortable feeling. Also no smokers room available, so enjoying a cigarillo with a beer is not possible.. Not sure if I book it again..

As we genuinely want to give our guests a comfortable and warm feeling, I regret to read our hotel did not make you feel comfortable. I am sorry that you experienced this feeling. I will follow up your feedback about the check in and check out process with the Front Desk to help them improve this process. Due to your comment about the furniture I can proudly inform you that our chairs of Voyager Restaurant have been renewed this month. In closing I would like to highlight the fact that we are a non-smoking hotel. This to respect our guests and the Dutch law. Even though your stay has not met your expectations, I hope to welcome you back in the future to show you the genuine comfort and service that the Sheraton Amsterdam stands for. We spent just one night in this hotel and what an impression it made on us. We were on our last day of our honeymoon before heading home. The hotel made a great fuss about it, Presecco, chocolates and a congratulations card for our marriage. Marvin, Minks and Jamie were fabulous as were the 2 ladies in the exec lounge Wednesday night and Thursday morning, that being said all the staff we encountered were happy and friendly. The hotel is amazing well planned and comfortable. The room itself was large well designed with the most wonderful bed to sleep on. Our room looked over the runway and what a view. I would say to anyone passing through Schiphol to stay here.

Hi there, breakfast in the lounge just means breakfast is served on the mezzanine floor of the hotel in an open area that doubles as a bar and restaurant, and from memory I seem to recall the breakfast was good ( except for the coffee).
As far as I can tell the 'hot escapes' include extra Starwood points and possibly other privileges for participating members. However, if you want to be sure of the information I'm giving you, I suggest you call or write to the hotel directly.
