We stayed here via booking a dayuse hotel room for our 15 hours layover (dayuse(dot)com). The rooms were clean with blackout curtains so we could sleep during our layover very comfortably. There was a king bed and a small loveseat sized sofa our child (6 yo) was able to sleep on with pillows. Hotel staff were very kind and the whole check in process was a breeze. Do know if you book for dayuse and call to confirm you need to specify on the phone that you booked for a day-use otherwise they try to find you for an overnight/mulit-day booking. I guess it's two different booking systems. They couldn't find my reservation until I specified it was day-use. Amazing choice and a life saver when traveling globally with a long layover and a young child.

I frequently attend this hotel when in Amsterdam, usually the last night. As most of my flights across the pond commence the morning hours. The beauty is that it’s connected to Schiphol, so rain, sleet or snow your never late to the airport 😉. They have two restaurants in the hotel so if a meal is needed then no problem they have a variety or you can have room service. If your gold or platinum you will have access to the club which is on the reception floor, has the usual amenities and snacks. The advantage with Schiphol is that they have the train station in the Airport. Which allows you to arrive from Rotterdam or Amsterdam and then go right to the hotel with no weather issues. The staff has always been very friendly and courteous. They booked me in immediately and didn’t have to wait to check in time as there was a room available. Twenty year habit of coming here and will continue. Highly recommended.

Not sure id stay again becuase for that price id expect proper temperature control in the rooms..e.g. citizam M next door far more basic rooms but temperature control works well.
id be concerned in summer that the air con would be ineffective..so prior to booking check july time reviews..
Unless i really have too wouldn't book again..I need temp control to sleep properly
checkout was quick but wouldn't let you pay day before and hold a security deposit..which seems ineffective..

The hotel is super convenient, it is inside the airport, close to the train station, so that in 20 mins you can be in the city centre. Big room, huge bathroom, complementary coffee and tea. A special thanks to the guys at the reception Vittorio, Antonio and Chantal.

I have visited this hotel many times and was happy to see that it was recently fully refurbished. One thing that bothers me about Sheraton, in general, is the nickel and diming of their customers. This hotel charges a premium rate, and so do all the others, and when you go to WiFI, you get a very slow connection, and one is asked to pay extra for more speed. Why would they not just add a dollar or two a day to the rate and include it in the rate? When working, a good connection/speed to download stuff is essential. Then the other minor inconvenience - two days without washcloths and when asked for was told: "we ran out". For the rest, this property looks good; the service and food are good.

Caution..if your travel is disrupted this hotel has a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. It’s an airport hotel— you would think they would have some flexibility. During the peak of travel summer cancelations and delays, our flight was significantly delayed late at night and because I had an early connection in the morning, I would be in the room for an hour. As soon as I found out about the delay I canceled and received email confirmation. Two days later they charged me 350 Euros on my credit card because I didn’t cancel 24 hours in advance. I had no idea 24 hours in advance that my travel would be disrupted! After several communications with the hotel, they said I should have known and cancelled according to their policy. Travel in Europe in the summer of 2022 was total chaos and it is ridiculous that an airport hotel would be so inflexible.

One of the nicest airport hotels I have stayed at and easily accessible from/to the airport by a 5 minute walk from Schiphol airport. We stayed twice, in August & September before and after our cruise and in both instances I was checked in by Antonio who is such an asset to the Hotel. He was always pleasant and cheerful and was just a really nice person to talk to. Both rooms we had were very comfortable & quiet. Coffee/tea making facilities were adequate, the bed/pillows were very comfy (my sister had stayed at the Hilton Schiphol in May & said their beds/pillows were as hard as rocks!!) The bathrooms were very modern with body wash, shampoo & conditioner supplied in the large shower. I also noticed near the lifts that there were additional coffee/tea making facilities supplied so if you needed more supplies they were available. The room does not have a fridge but there was aniron/ironing board supplied.

Great hotel in look and feel and comfort, but the worst hotel I have seen in years for prices and service. Tried to charge me €7.70 for 1 cup of tea in the bar as they put it as a pot, when I received hot water and a tea bag. No sugar, no milk offered even. Ordered room service the night before, it took 75 minutes when they said 30 because they lost my room number. They comped the meal and also now tea but that’s beside the point. They would not have to come if the service was worthy of the price you pay for a hotel like this

Just booked in for one night as long transfer time between flights. Reception efficient and friendly. Went for an evening meal at the restaurant in the atrium, there was only a set buffet when you could either have starter, mains or dessert and were charged for whichever combination. We had just mains and one of us had dessert . When asked for the bill we were charged for two people having main and dessert , we challenged this and we were told the young waiter had advised we had both had dessert. I insisted this was incorrect and they changed the bill. I think this had happens as he took away a dessert plate and a side plate at the same time assuming they were both dessert plates. Although this was not a pleasant experience the food was good. The room was very nice and spacious, bed was king size and very comfy. Bathroom was good with excellent shower. Check out was simple and easy. Overall a nice clean spacious hotel.

It was the great experience I’ve come to expect from all Marriott Bonvoy properties. We caught a break and we’re able to check in over six hours early rather than just having them hold our bags. The room was clean and extremely comfortable. The staff was a nice as any I’ve encountered anywhere. We only had one day in Amsterdam and want to come back and spend more time there, and we will very likely stay here again.
