Highly recommend Comfort Inn! Rooms are VERY clean! The staff are friendly and the breakfast was very good. The hotel is quiet and the King Bed was super comfortable. We had a suite and it was nice and roomy. Tanner at the front desk was excellent and very helpful both when I called and when I checked in. The connivence to restaurants is also a nice feature.

During these time it is so scary to have to stay in a hotel for work. But because of the wonderful staff here from the manager, front desk staff, cleaning people, cook, maintenace - everyone - this is a wonderful stay. There are curbside pickup restaurants within walking distance, there is always hot coffee in individually wrapped disposable cups and you see the staff in action doing everything in their power to make this a covid free environment. If you have to stop somewhere we highly recommend Comfort Inn & Suites in Virden, MB.

The staff has been welcoming and kind on every level. They spoke to us whenever they had the chance and always made sure we were having a great stay. The continental breakfast was better than I've had anywhere else. Omelettes and french toast, pancakes at the press of a button. Really great coffee as well that they make fresh and keep out all day. The pool was great and my kiddo loved the slide. Hot tub too!! The cleaning staff did a great job and stocked up on coffee, towels and whatever else we didn't know we needed daily. Beds made. The beds are also super comfy, like sleeping in a cloud. They even had a playpen for my baby. The suites give you an extra room which is great if you have a teenager. Microwave and mini fridge in every room. This place is a must stay even if you're passing through.

Fridge and Shower worked well. Friendly desk clerks. Pool, exercise room and laundry facilities were open. We were able to choose our own food in a room off of the lobby for breakfast but had to take it back to our room to eat. It was nice to be able to at least pick what you wanted. They appeared to be following the Covid rules very well. The only negative for us was that we stayed in Room #109 and they could really use a new desk chair in that room. Otherwise, it was a very good stay.

Rooms very nice and clean. Hot tub needed to be cleaned as it had lots of sand/grit in it. Breakfast was great except for one morning when there was no meat or syrup set out and the pancake machine was not ready. As there was no-one in the kitchen, I mentioned this to the front desk person and she snapped back, “I know!” She proceeded to tell me that sometimes the high school students don’t show up for their shift. So she decided to let the guests go without because she was upset with whomever didn’t show up to work? That doesn’t sound right. I offered to help get stuff set out but got snapped at. Only after we had finished breakfast and on our way to our room did she thank me for offering to help (closest apology I got). Encountered another unsmiling front desk lady who didn’t even bother to acknowledge us when we walked past the front desk. There was a very nice fellow at the front desk one evening which we very much appreciated. Cost is reasonable and we would definitely stay there again.

In April I had a reservation for one night.
I understand that you create an enormous amount of revenue from sports teams. With this being said, I would have appreciated being made aware of this when I booked my room. Or at least put us on a floor where we were not surrounded by children screaming and playing ball in the halls all evening.
We were not allowed to use the hot tub as the water facility was over run with children all day and evening.
When we went for breakfast there was no room to eat. We left to return to the fact there was no hot breakfast items available.
Very poor experience, and never recommend this location to anyone.

Stayed with a large family and was pleasantly surprised by the huge rooms. Clean too! Unfortunately the waterslide was down for repair but the pool was still nice. Staff was very friendly and the town of Virden was very cozy and safe.
The rooms are quiet and the beds rock. Probably the only good nights sleep I had on my vacation was here!
The breakfast is also second to none! What an awesome eating room and great selection! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Had a nice stay here at the Comfort Inn. It's a fairly new hotel and very clean with nice decor.
We were give the family room that had a king size bed and a separate bedroom with a bunk bed with its own TV. There was a small coffee maker and a microwave and fridge in the room. The bathroom was clean and the free WIFI was strong.
They offer free breakfast and there's also a Tim Hortons next door. They might even be open 24hrs. And there's an A&W across the street.
Was very comfortable staying here and would definitely stay here again when I'm in the Virden area.

Poor. Employees have no respect for one another never mind the customer. I witnessed 2 different employees entering guest rooms for thewrong reason. This hotel was a wonderfull stay when it forst opened but is quickly going downhill. I would recommend passing on this hotel and going to the next town in general.

The comfort inn is situated in a great location just off the main highway. There is usually something going on in the town with the exceptions of Sunday being pretty quiet. The staff are really friendly and help with all demands. The rooms are a large size with comfortable beds. Each room has a big screen tv, fridge and microwave.
