As we were on a long layover in Schiphol, we made our way out of the terminal to cross the pedestrian bridge to the Sheraton hotel which houses the Commune. Airy dining room, the menue is on the short side, pricing is fair for an international hotel, wines a bit on the pricey side. Friendly, enthusiastic waiting staff, good food. If you are unfamiliar with Dutch food, try the perfect “bitterballen”, IMHO the only major Dutch contribution to fine, unpretentious cuisine.

I’ve just finished my brunch at Commune and I had the most magical experience! Amber Lee and her lovely team totally rocked my world! Amber was very attentive and just a total pleasure, she made an excellent Bloody Mary with just the right amount of Spice and shared the recipe with me of the cheeky espresso martini I had for liquid dessert! I can’t wait to come back I can’t recommend this wonderful place and kitchen and team enough!! Simply wonderful

Very clean restaurant and extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Food was very good on both our visits and there is a variety of items to choose from. Drinks from the bar were well made on both visits and there is also a wide variety of wines.

Best service in the greater Amsterdam area…all immediately here at the airport with great access to anywhere in the Netherlands. Eliza and Lisa at the Commune bar and restaurant are fabulous and will alone, make the visit worth it!!

Intentionally went to the airport a bit earlier so that I could have an extensive lunch here first. The location is beautiful, and very conveniently close to the departure lounge. The dishes are tasty, well put together and varied. Service is really top notch, the level service you don't often experience in Amsterdam anymore. I recommend this place to everyone.

I ate here on a layover before my flight back to US . Sat at the bar , which was very spacious but not too crowded. I enjoyed several Afflighem beers and had the ribeye dinner with beet salad as a starter.
Prices were typical high end but no different than US.
Slava, the bartender was wonderful and very attentive

Came across this Restaurant while waiting for my connection flight that was delayed, best finding in Schiphol . The apple pie with whipped cream made me forget about the delay from how good it was (great suggestion from Jakob) along with a good coffee. The service from the team was lovely!

Excellent service! I had lunch with some friends at Commune this past Wednesday and certainly a great experience. We encountered lovely Alba who approached us as soons as she saw as coming from the lobby of the hotel. Delicious food and amazing service. Would definitely come back if I am ever again around Schiphol!

Had a few extra hours to kill at Schiphol airport and decided to spend them working on my laptop in the Commune restaurant. Received amazing 5 star service from Bo who made me a great coffee and made sure I had everything I needed. The hotel itself is gorgeous and a great place to work with really kind staff (+ free wifi :)

A little bit expensive but the place got a nice and cosy vibe! Great cocktails and outstanding service from Jacob and Bianca. Next time waiting for a plane I’ll definitely come back again

very nice food, specially the cauliflower salad. I really liked the vegan ranch sauce! Service was great. Could not imagine to have this kind of restaurant so close to the airport. Whenever we have another layover in Amsterdam we will come back for sure.

Such great service. Friendly staff and the food is amazing. Sandra, Evy and Bianca very helpful friendly and beautiful people. Will come back again and stay. Look forward to trying other things on the menu

This cafe bar is a delightful place with delicious coffee, friendly service, and cozy ambiance. The perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a relaxing time with friends.
Ps. Sandra is a fantastic girl who smiles like an angel and helps with recommendations.

So far a place such a wonderful spot. You might find here a lot of surprises and great stuff in charge. Rating 7 stars out of 5 and get to know monsieur Agel. Wonderful gentleman 10 o 10.
One day i might back here. Stay in touch and be lucky to meet Inndra once again.
