There were no bath towels in our room. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice until the morning. Called the front desk twice, stopped down at the front desk once. When I stopped down at the front desk the employee literally said “oh yeah I see you called twice.” Was told each time, over a nearly three hour time period, towels were on the way, and they never came. Avoid this place if you like to shower.

Since this place opened I’ve stayed here a lot, many times for business, some for get a ways and always recommended it to many colleagues and customers traveling through the Niagara Falls area. Now this is probably the last time I stay here and certainly no more recommendations.
The Doubletree Niagara Falls NY is getting worn out and needs a renovation. The mattresses are shot, the couch in the room is shot, the rooms are certainly feeling old and needing an update. The room was more like an old comfort inn rather than a Hilton property.
The service here has always been top notch and I could overlook the physical things but this time was different. Yes there were a few that stood out as great but holy moly they were the exceptions this trip. I’m a diamond member and can’t think of the last time check in wasn’t great. Usually if there is an upgrade it’ll be offered, drink tickets, waters, whatever. This time she was short and I was obviously a bother to her, not even a smile let alone a bottle of water.
Bill at the bar was great as always, and the ladies in the restaurant for breakfast were very accommodating as usual. I over heard the servers saying that the restaurant was going to be very slow on Friday night while we were there the night before so we thought let’s just eat here. So about 6:00 we come down and try to get a table, it indeed wasn’t busy there were many open tables visible but we were told it was 30-45 wait. I said really? What about the open tables? We were offered a seat at the bar and declined, then told we’d have to wait and normally I would have no objection but the young man couldn’t have cared one bit. So back to the room for jackets and out to what was probably a better meal at another local restaurant.
This place has always had something special about it, the people were certainly part of that. It’s not so special anymore. It does make me sad to write this review it was a favorite of mine. I guess we’ll have to find a new favorite.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for one night after exploring Niagara Falls. Upon arrival, the front desk clerk was very welcoming and polite. This is a clean, modern facility located convenient to the Falls - hike about a mile to get to the park. You can also hike a couple miles up river if you are inclined. They have a nice, sunny, indoor pool, but no hot tub. Desk staff was great! Very helpful and generous with their warm chocolate chip cookies. Even though they were NOT busy, bar/restaurant staff was extremely slow - you almost needed to tackle them to get their attention (both morning and evening). They charge for parking when other local hotels do not. Minor complaints: My rate included FREE breakfast, but it was actually a coupon good for a) a free buffet (but they didn't have a buffet) or b) $19 toward breakfast (which would almost get you most of their entrees $16, and a coffee $4, but no sides like bacon or juice $6). They also provided a FREE drink coupon (worth $9), but most of their drinks were over $9. Both of these were OK, but I'm agitated that both said FREE when neither was.

Very nice hotel in Niagara Falls. Exceptional service by Bill (bartender), Sarah at check-in desk, and Tina, our server at dinner. The room was spacious, bed & linens very nice and comfortable. We loved having a couch and ottoman for extra space. Plenty of parking also, but cost $15 a day which seemed an unreasonable extra charge considering our two night stay was $525. Unlike the Hampton Inn next door, breakfast is not included, thus also extra cost and time required. Hotel is not by a highway, so no traffic noise which was nice. Tip: you have to request housekeeping service as it is not automatically done.

We will stay here again! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Double Tree! Only a short walk (maybe 10 minutes) to the falls and nearby places to eat and site see. We did not use our car for 2 days....everything was so close. The pool and fitness room was clean and enjoyable. Very nice fitness room. We enjoyed a river view with the balcony. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful from there. The staff was friendly and helpful! We loved Margaret at the concierge and enjoyed our Gray Lines Tour with Bob.
The front desk staff were above average in hospitality and housekeeping were helpful in where to go around town. Thank you for the cookies and bottles of water.
Rent the electric scooters from Sitesee Rentals and spend 2 hours going up and down the river from Goat Island up to Whirlpool State Park! Worth the $$$$
Thank you to the hotel staff for such an amazing stay while visiting The Falls with my teenage son!

Just a sad hotel. The room decor was a hodgepodge of lamps that felt like a college apartment with cast offs from the parents. Bed frame jutted out beyond the bed on all sides making it prone to shin injuries.
Restaurant service was nonexistent, they completely ignored us and we left after 20 minutes of the bartenders serving new arrivals while ignoring us.
I feel cheated as the rate was expensive but the experience was more like a motel.

This stay was actually during the last week of February 2021. We wanted a quick family getaway and this checked all the boxes!
We stayed in a suite with a view and the room was very clean and comfortable.
The best part was the service and how nice everybody was. I was with my wife and 2 small children and with social distancing and accommodations they made us feel very welcome. From the front desk, to attendants, to the very nice lady who helped with our breakfast order, I could not be happier.
It is experiences like this that make you want to spread the word and stay at the same hotel if we ever go back to the falls.

We had a very nice dinner at this hotel. We were staying at a hotel nearby that couldn’t accommodate us. So, we tried the Double Tree. We were pleasantly surprised by the dinners. The menu was limited to steak, salmon or chicken. I had the steak. It was tender and cooked exactly as requested. The sides were very good and they were served hot. The waitstaff was young and inexperienced. One waitperson kept bringing an iced tea to our table even though no one ordered that. We had a few drinks that were perfectly made and appropriately priced…for a hotel. When you consider that every business is short on help and many are struggling this was a good place to have a nice meal.

We often stay at doubletrees - this was a bit average to be honest. I checked in online using the app and was allocated two interconnecting rooms on the 9th floor (highest floor) as requested when I booked it 6 months previously. When we got there, despite me already having the rooms confirmed on the app, we were told one of them had been allocated to someone else and they had already checked in. That was BAD!!!!!! (And I had digital jet access to those rooms as well!). We were then allocated two rooms on the 2nd floor (1st floor up). They were average to say the least. Shame. One of the fridges in one room didn’t work. Also a lot of noise from a wedding event one night. On the good side the gym is handy. The pool is mainly for young kids and more of a fun pool. They did give us free breakfast for the poor service. I would look elsewhere if we are to return as the price was quite expensive when u r staying 4 nights and buying two rooms. Oh well.
