My stay at Hotel Landy in Orlando for their grand opening was a remarkable journey into luxury and personalized hospitality. Upon arrival, I was instantly upgraded to a Jr. Suite, which offered expansive space and a sumptuously comfortable bed that promised—and delivered—an excellent night’s sleep.
One of the architectural highlights of Hotel Landy is its breathtaking indoor atrium. The atrium, reminiscent of an old library but with a modern twist, features stunning glass elevators that provide a panoramic view of this beautifully designed space from top to bottom, enhancing the experience of exploration within the hotel.
The game room kept entertainment high with its current and popular games, catering to all ages. Outside, the pool area was a perfect retreat with fun lawn games and comfortable chairs ideal for enjoying the sun. The culinary event was a spectacle, especially due to Chef Brandon at the charcuterie station. His passion for fine meats and cheeses was infectious, as he detailed the origins, preparation techniques, and ideal pairings with wines and cocktails. His recommendations were spot-on, turning each tasting into a delightful exploration of flavors. Chef Brandon’s enthusiasm and expertise made the charcuterie station not just a meal, but a memorable culinary education.
Every food station was a unique discovery. From fresh seafood to live-prepared tacos and expertly grilled kabobs, each offered distinct flavors. The tapas and desserts were particularly memorable, each crafted to perfection. The vibrant acrobatics and live DJ perfectly complemented the festive atmosphere, making the entire evening energetic and enjoyable.
The staff at Hotel Landy were truly exceptional. General Manager Demetrius made you feel genuinely welcomed, as if visiting a grand home rather than a hotel. Beverage Manager Kailee was a fountain of knowledge, especially about the custom craft drinks, which were simply top-notch. Her engaging personality made every interaction a joy.
Even upon checking out, the hospitality did not falter. Sierra, the Market Manager, was exceptionally knowledgeable, guiding me through a selection of market products that were too tempting to resist.
The hotel’s restaurant was another highlight, serving delicious dishes that were a feast for both the eyes and the palate, reinforcing the hotel’s reputation for culinary excellence.
As I left Hotel Landy, I was already planning my return. With its prime location near the convention center and main attractions, Hotel Landy is more than just a place to stay—it’s a destination, promising and delivering exceptional experiences with every visit.

We had a great time at Hotel Landy! A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights to attend a conference.
Highlight: really exceptional staff, especially Hector and Shaun who went out of their way to help us with our absurd amounts of luggage. They were both so courteous and patient and we are very grateful for their assistance.
Lowlight: the dinner at the in-house restaurant was hit-or-miss. Our waitress was lovely, but my friend’s $40 “New York Strip” steak was almost inedible, even after the kitchen remade the meal.
Overall, we had a great time—we especially loved our spacious room and time at the pool.

If you have any inclination that this Marriott called Hotel Landy will serve you with any amount of satisfaction, take your money and stay at the host of other hotels located in proximity to Universal Orlando. We stayed here in preparation for my son’s Birthday. It was awful. The place prides itself on being newly renovated after 20 years in February and it needs a renovation of its management. The room was dirty on check in. Several amenities were not replenished in the room prior to check in. The AC in several common areas was broken. The extra towels requested came with chunks of black hair amid the stack. While we were gone, housekeeping left our door wide open for hours after a delivery. Two ice machines were broken on our floor and above. Hallways were loud. Late night the hallways became a drunk taxiway for teens to hang out. We had to call security multiple times just to get someone to regulate it. A simple family looking for a simple stay gets in the path of a hotel that can’t manage their property. Don’t stay here. To the GM who reads this and responds “we’re sorry for the inconvenience.” Don’t even bother. To all who read this, take your money elsewhere in Orlando. This is a city that thrives off tourism and this place could care less about you or maintaining their property. There are to many other options available for visitors and this needs to be at the bottom of your list. Sadly we’re titanium members with Marriott. Goes to show you properties do matter and it’s not all the same in the name brand. Choose wisely. Don’t choose this place!

This was my second one night stay in two weeks. The hotel is very well located and looks brand new. My check -in experience was very smooth. I chose to self-park for $35 vs. the $50 valet fee. It’s the same parking lot so it’s not a huge difference to park on your own.
Both times the room was clean and quiet. I saw a lot of housekeeping activity throughout my stay. They do a great job.
The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The shower had great water pressure.
The air conditioning is a bit loud but it did t bother me.
I had a lovely view of the pool area from the big window. The blackout curtains worked very well.
The grab and go market is well stocked with light fare and Starbucks coffee. It was nice to grab some fresh fruit and a tea later in the evening. The barista is a lovely gentleman.
There is also a well stocked mini mart style store in the lobby.
I didn’t go to the bar but it looked very inviting, with small groups chatting and unwinding in the afternoon.
Al in all it was a very good experience. The employees are very friendly and work well together.

How is Marriott okay with this hotel being a part of their portfolio? We stayed here for 3 nights and the only benefit was the proximity to the Parks. It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a "4-star" hotel. Upon arrival the bathroom had hair on the sink, the toilet, and in the shower. Was the room even cleaned prior to our arrival? The lights flickered when we turned them on in the "renovated" room we we're staying in. The service at the lounge is abysmal. We had to wait almost 20 minutes for a server to come to our table after order drinks from the bar and informing the bartender we would like to sit down at a table and order. The hotel also claims to be smoke free even though they repeatedly allowed the same patron to smoke in a non smoking area. The outdoor patio furniture had cigarette ashes all over a few of the tables. The managers response to our concerns was "we're sorry for the inconvenience" without offering a resolution to the problem. Multiple ice machines were out of service during our stay. The water station on the floor we were staying on was also broken during our stay. There are so many other options in the area we wished we chose better. Don't stay here.

The hotel was clean and staff at the restaurant and coffee shop were very nice. It’s very close to universal which makes it convenient.
Bathrooms are very small and showers are very tight.
It’s very noisy! Not only noise from outside and at the lobby (very loud music), but also you can hear from other rooms. Chatting from others rooms felt like it was happening in our room, so loud. Too noisy to sleep.
Don’t recommend it if you want to have a good sleep.

This newly renovated hotel offers everything you need for a great stay in the Orlando area. It is a quick drive from the airport, and close to all of the parks. Hotel Landy's staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was a standout, too - delicious and huge portion sizes! Overall, the energy at this hotel and the amenities, such as the pool, the candy bar in Orly's Market and the Game Room, are what made the stay so fun and memorable.

My family and I decided to spend my birthday weekend at this hotel. We had a great time. The hotel has a big pool, jacuzzi, gym, arcade, gift shop, a restaurant, and a Starbucks. It’s located in a great spot where you are close to a lot of near by restaurants as well as also being very close to Universal Studios, and Icon Park. The staff is very nice and helpful. Mariela at the front desk and Jarvis from valet along with the rest of the valet team really hooked it up. Would definitely recommend coming here for your vacation.

Hotel Landy is a conveniently located hotel near to universal studios, shopping, and restaurants. The hotel is newly opened and the rooms are clean. The decor is nice and contemporary. They offer pool and games if you decide to stay in and chill and enjoy the property. One downside is that I requested no housekeeping at the start of my stay and the room was cleaned anyway. I would stay here again on another visit to Orlando. I also would recommend this hotel to others.
