Booked a family room for 5 days at this property. Was surprised to get a senior suite, 2 separate rooms with one bathroom connected by a long hall. All good, nice appointed rooms, immaculate clean, nice amenities, minibar, free wi fi, tv sets in both rooms, tea and coffee facilities, quiet- although we had a room facing the main street. The breakfast was excellent, many choices, good quality items, extremely convenient to have it by 11am each day. The parking is literally 30 metres away from the hotel at 18.5 euros per day. The subway station is near as well, around 100m from the hotel. The staff was very helpful and polite, congratulations to a wonderful team.
Cannot fault this hotel, was amazing, really recommended, would be back.

The hotel is situated about an half hour walk from the airport busstop. Check-in was fast. Staff was friendly. My room (203) was large enough. As I gold member I got my voucher for a drink, only to discover that this is the first Mercure hotel I have visited that doesn't have a hotelbar. But again reception, I exchanged my voucher for a tiny bottle of beer (20 cl). Standard of cleaning was alright, alghough the white tiles on the floor atract a lot of dust and long hairs that weren't mine. Two serious points for improvement. The WiFi is so slow, that streaming on Netflix is impossible. You have to use 4G to access most internetsites. And the rooms are very porely insulated. They do have double glazing, so not a lot of outside noise. But you can hear a lot of noise coming from the rooms above and next to you. So, earplugs are a necessity for light sleepers. I paid €95 a night and that rate is to high, considering location, sleep quality and services the hotel.offers.

Some friends of mine and I decided to stay for a few days in Barcelona. We stayed at the Mercure Condor because of it’s well-situated near Plaza Molina with its Metro and Bus station and because we know the very good standard from the Mercure hotels generally.
And we were not disappointed! We had two double bedrooms with a great terrace each. Both rooms didn’t have enormous space but they were very well and clever designed, were clean and nothing was missing.
The breakfast was a great european continental buffet with cold and warm dishes, several coffee specialties and a superbe and very oblingingly service. Thanks again and especially for that little birthday surprise for my friend ;)
Also a special thanks to the very warm-hearted reception staff. You let us a feel absolutely welcome :)
Next to the hotel, there are many small Cafés and Bars and it’s very easy to get to every point of interest in Barcelona. So, if you‘re looking for a great place to stay for a few days, with great hosts and an excellent connection to the city - this is your place to stay!

I LOVE this hotel. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. The ladies at the front desk just start your stay off with their great attitude and friendly demeanor.
The reception area is also very chill and I didn't mind waiting there. This hotel is not too far from the central portion of the city, the location is great because there are lots of neighborhood restaurants within walking distance.
Checkout the gym on the top floor, great views of the city and spectacular sunsets. I HIGHLY suggest opting in for their breakfast package, great way to start your day. Also, they have cushions to sit on in front of the hotel, if you like people watching.

The hotel is away from the city centre but it is easily accessible by metro. Staff at check-in and breakfast are friendly. We had a triple room, it consists of a double bed and a sofa bed in a separate area. The first night, there were no bed sheets provided for the sofa bed. We went down to the front desk and sheets were delivered to our room promptly. The next day, housekeeping provided a proper blanket and towels for the sofa bed, which is good. I recommend that they should provide these on the first night for triple rooms though. Our room has a jetted tub, but it never worked in the 5 nights we stayed. Other than this, our stay was good. The room has modern decor and a balcony. Breakfast is great with a lot of options: different types of bread with tomato paste and olive oil to add, scrambled egg, sausages, fresh fruits, yogurt, veggies, coffee, tea and juice. Breakfast staff did an excellent job in keeping all the items refilled very quickly.

Clean sheets and room, good view of Mount tibidabo. Room has electric heating rack for basic essentials to dry. Very well connected. Very close to the station. Has an outdoor seating area. Receptionist was very helpful in providing basic information about the city, getting us a cab etc.

Its a good Hotel not far away from downtown, if you like to walk you need 25 minutes or you take a taxi and for few Euros you´r then there. Rooms a clean as all other Mercure Hotels I have been, Breakfast has everithing you need the time is perfect when you travel with Kids, missing in rooms is a water cooker but on reception you will get one. Great personal always friendly and try to help. I will be there again for my next travel

Our arrival in this hotel was not the best. Even though I am a Platinum member of the Accor chain and had done the check-in online days prior to our arrival, the staff left us waiting for half an hour at the check-in desk. Only to then tell us we did not get the room we had booked. There was no welcome gift, my name was spelled wrong on the welcome card and I was referred to as Mr when my profile clearly states I am female etc. I'd say poor customer service all over, but then the nice lady at reception compensated us for the room type and quickly arranged this compensation. She was friendly and efficient. The room we had was very small but with an adequate size bathroom. Enough wardrobe space, a handy working desk, good airconditioning and much needed sound proof windows. The hotel itself is 3* at best. Breakfast is ok, not the best of products but good coffee. There is no bar, but you can get drinks at reception. The carpet in the hallways is run down with filthy marks, luckily the rooms have linoleum. The location is ok, close to metro stations and about 10mins walk from Diagonal. Given the price, and the receptionists problem solving professionalism, we would maybe have considered returning here. That is until check-out. This is when another receptionist in a very unfriendly manner 'ordered' me to pay for a bottle of water that I supposedly had in the 'bar' at reception. I did not. I did not even use my drink vouchers. Apart from the fact that she was mistaken, I do not appreciate the manner in which she spoke to me. In the end she did drop the cost (2.50) but only because I hadn't used my vouchers. We travel to Barcelona quite frequently and have always stayed elsewhere. We will continue to do so in future.

Good location, small room, everything was fine.
On the last day, the taxi booked by the hotel cheated us on fare.
So kindly book the taxi yourself. I informed the hotel about this, they have not taken any actions.

We stayed here for a few nights before and after our cruise. The hotel is very nice for a few nights and possibly more (if you have anything planned in Barcelona as there is isn’t really anything to do in the hotel, but this isn’t that type of hotel anyway) the rooms were pretty nice and clean, there were some nice soaps in the bathroom too. The gym looked very well equipped and modern. We didn’t get chance to try out the restaurant as it was always closed but you may have to book. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were fairly quiet. The staff spoke a good level of English in the reception. There was a complementary coffee machine in the reception and a sitting area with books. Beware that there is a very low chance that you will be able to check in before the specified time, so have something planned, however there is an air-conditioned luggage room. The hotel is in more of a residential area which is nice and not very touristy, but some people in the surrounding area don’t speak English (but this is expected I guess) there are some nice local shops and restaurants near by and there is a convenient little spa shop connected to the hotel. The sagrada is about a 30-40 minute walk away or a 10 minute taxi ride away. The taxis are well priced and easy to catch. You can see the yellow and white cabs everywhere and if they say “libre” In the front window, they are free. You can get a taxi very easily up the road from the hotel. There are also a few subway stops surrounding the hotel which are worth a try. Overall a great hotel.

Managua, Nicaragua243 contributions77 helpful votesPlease need to know: if there is a grocery store/supermarket close to the hotel and a tapas bar near the hotel that you can recommend or late entertainment Thank you.
When you come out of the hotel, cross the street and turn right. 100m further you will find a night and day shop where you can fin ALL you want.
If you go 200m further, you will arrive at a square where you will find the subway station and 5 restaurants. Be careful, when I was there ( March), they closed at 10pm.

1. Taking AEROBUS (5.9€ VAT included/pp) from any terminal airport, will arrive to "Plaça Catalunya" and then crossing back the square, take any line (L6, S1, S2) from FGC(Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya - directly to "Muntaner" station. Therefore, just walk for 3 minutes arriving to the hotel.
2. From the Terminal 2 you should take train (Renfe), get off in "Sants" station and change to line 5 Metro (blue) until "Diagonal" station and change again to Ferrocarrils (L6, S1, S2) and get off in "Muntaner" station.
Then, walking around 3 minutes by Via Augusta will arrive to the hotel.
Remember: Metro and train lines, work until midnight. Other option, from Sants station you can take a taxi to the hotel (around 10€ approx.).
Traveling from the airport station, buy a T-10 card (10 travel – 10.30€) is valid to travel in all metro and train system.
