While longer full season stays are welcomed, we do not offer overnight camping or vacation rentals. Kids love our playground, heated swimming pool, wagon rides, and fun summer activities. Anglers love fishing for walleye, bass, pike, and panfish on East Lake. We had a wonderful time at Lake Avenue RV ,,,, our cabin was right on the lake, extremely clean and had all your basic needs. The owner Rick was very is friendly and answers all your questions, plus most helpful. We are planning to return next September bringing friends. Thanks Rick and family .

Amazing family friendly campground. Owners are so nice and work so hard to keep the grounds clean. There is great fishing, the lake is clear, and the pool is sparkling clean. We have nothing but amazing things to say about this park and we are looking forward to our next visit in a few weeks.

We rent a little cabin house (Sunset B30). Everything was perfect. We were near the beach with a beautiful view on the Lake. The owner is very nice. Perfect gateway!

This was our first visit to the RV resort. My husband and I stayed in a cabin at the lake with our mini Dachshund. We had a blast swimming, kayaking, pedal boating, playing horseshoes and taking walks. Deanna and Rick were very accommodating and even provided us with a rack for our firepit...we cooked most of our meals outside. The sunsets were breathtaking! Besides enjoying the resort, we explored Picton and the Prince Edward County wineries which were a short 20 minute drive from the resort. Although we did not bring any children, it seemed to be very child friendly and had a nice, clean pool if guests did not want to swim in the lake. We will be returning.

Just spent 7 days here, there are pros and cons like anywhere but I would definitely go back. We are a couple traveling with 2 4 year olds with another couple ( 2 campers).
Pros: 5 minuet drive from Sandbanks beach. Great little private beach at the camp. Good park for Little kids. Pool was never busy and good size. Laundry was $2 a load and everything was dry within the $2 time. Ranger Rick was very nice. There were free kayaks and a paddle boat which was great to use! Halloween was on Saturday night and they offered costumes at the front for use. Very clean campground all around. Was not loud at great for families that want to relax.
Cons: The gate was always open so I’m not sure how they keep people out who don’t belong inside. The office is rarely open so you have to go next door to the house and ring the bell. There is an adult swim time from 4-5pm, I think the time should be more like 12-2pm when most kids are having lunch or being kept out of the sun. There were no activities for kids planned other than Halloween and it would’ve been nice to know in advance and bring our own costumes. Camp sites were a little small but not terrible. I’m pretty sure the other couple were not on a 30amp but more like 15/20 because it kept blowing the breakers, but ours was fine.
Overall very nice place to relax!

We have been going to lake avenue for 3 years now and enjoy the people, activities, amenities especially the warm pool. The staff are polite and they have docks for lunching your boat.

Love LAP.. East lake is beautiful. The folks at LAP are extremely friendly and courteous. I have been several times and will continue to visit .
The staff are always very accommodating and helpful.. When in Cherry Valley I always try here first to see if there is anything available.

This is my 5th stay at the beautiful cottages. My family rents multiple cottages and goes down together. In addition to my family vacation, a few friends have come down to enjoy a getaway.
The property is well maintained and the cottages clean ready for check in. The managment is friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
The beach is conviently located with a slide out in the lake. Very nice heated pool, if your not a beach person.
Safe, family friendly atmosphere that makes you want to return. The people that own trailers on property are very welcoming.
If your looking for a blissful escape from the city. I would highly recomand booking here.

My husband and I stayed in the beautiful rental cottage on the lake. The cottage was amazingly spotless and had all the comforts needed from home including a flat screen tv/DVD and heat/air conditioning, which was perfect for the rainy days! Waking up to the beautiful sunrise over the lake while on the spacious deck was our favourite! The staff were so friendly doing their best to make sure our stay was exceptional and the grounds are kept beautiful and clean! We can not wait for our next visit 😊
