The team at the reception during the day was unfriendly and unhelpful during the 4 days of our stay. No recognition of our loyal upon arrival, no information about the property and the rooms for a first visit was provided. The staff was a trainee and did not show any social skills. Taxis were booked for each morning in advance and they never came. The reception team did not apologize for it and never show empathy although they knew about the issue. They did not care which was obvious. It took ages to checkout as they were not organized and several emails to get a correct invoice.

The rooms were quite basic with several conditional issues. Mattresses were old and hairs were noticed each day in the linen as well as the bathrooms.

Breakfast was ok but there was only one team member and tables were never cleared.

Clearly not a good example of a Mercure hotel and for sure of an Accor property.

The hotel is situated about an half hour walk from the airport busstop. Check-in was fast. Staff was friendly. My room (203) was large enough. As I gold member I got my voucher for a drink, only to discover that this is the first Mercure hotel I have visited that doesn't have a hotelbar. But again reception, I exchanged my voucher for a tiny bottle of beer (20 cl). Standard of cleaning was alright, alghough the white tiles on the floor atract a lot of dust and long hairs that weren't mine. Two serious points for improvement. The WiFi is so slow, that streaming on Netflix is impossible. You have to use 4G to access most internetsites. And the rooms are very porely insulated. They do have double glazing, so not a lot of outside noise. But you can hear a lot of noise coming from the rooms above and next to you. So, earplugs are a necessity for light sleepers. I paid €95 a night and that rate is to high, considering location, sleep quality and services the hotel.offers.

We stayed here for 6 nights for our honeymoon and got upgraded to their one and only Suite! Beautiful room with wide spacious terrace. Housekeeper did a wonderful job of making the room clean tidy. Near train station etc. FO staff are friendly and nice. Congratulated us for getting married and made us welcomed. Highly recommended hotel.
