The Sheraton Music City Nashville Airport receives accolades for its attentive service, with staff members frequently going the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction. The spacious rooms offer comfort, although some guests point out that they could benefit from a modern refresh. While visitors appreciate the hotel's value and cleanliness, parking fees and noise can detract from the overall experience. The hotel's atmosphere, highlighted by live music and a tropical pool area, alongside a range of praised amenities, contributes to its appeal. However, guests should be prepared for limited nearby dining options due to its airport-adjacent location.

We spent one night here during our trip home from the Smoky Mountains. We intentionally chose this hotel because it was close to I-40. We were excited to see that it is in a nice area that, although close to the interstate, felt insulated from the hustle and bustle. Check in was quick and efficient. The staff greeted us courteously. (We booked online through Hotels.com.)
They charge for parking, but we felt safe leaving our vehicles full of camping gear in the lot because the gates require the room key for entry and exit. Our room was clean and the temperature of the room was perfect. We were a little concerned when we went to enter our room and realized it was missing a sticker on it that assured us it was sanitized. The other rooms across the hall all had the stickers. The housekeeper was a few doors down the hallway and I asked her about our room. She assured me it had been sanitized.
They let us know at check in that the bar and restaurant were open, but due to COVID-19, room service was not currently available. So, we opted to grab dinner elsewhere.
We had a restful night in our room that overlooked the pool. We did not go down to that area because guests in the pool were not wearing masks.
At checkout, the desk staff person leaned out to the desk and told my husband to use the card to leave the parking lot and drop it in the box in the lobby. There was no checkout process required, as they sent us a copy of the paperwork via email. It was pouring rain when we left, so we loaded under the front covered area. The parking lot attendant at the front was very helpful with taking care of dropping the keys in the box for us, so we didn’t have to reenter the hotel.
This hotel does have evidence of its age. Our shower had a crack in the tub and the linens showed some age, but overall it was a comfortable stay that we felt was worth the money.

Know before you go: masks are required in the hotel at this time. Parking costs money, but is worth it. Hotels.com had the best deal on prices.

I stayed here for a business meeting in Nashville. The customer service has always been decent at this hotel, but I felt the need to mention Joseph Sinay. He is an outstanding asset to this hotel. He checked us in for valet, and acted as bellman, getting us and our bags to the room then later shuttled us home for dinner nearby. He is friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. Those are all things that you value when staying at a hotel out of town.
The hotel and rooms were clean and nicely done.
I have stayed here many times, this was the frat time my loyalty status was not acknowledged although I did receive a room upgrade. The executive lounge is closed due to Covid, but in the past I have always been given breakfast and appetizer vouchers. Now you are given 1000 points, that is worth about 4$ at this hotel. That is disappointing but only to loyalty members.
Over all the hotel is located in a good area, is clean and nicely updated, close to the airport and many restaurants, and about 10 minutes from downtown. The Sheraton Music City is a good place for visitors to stay and is reasonably priced.

Stay Report - 5/31 to 6/1

Location: The Sheraton Music City is located on the west side of the Nashville Airport.  It's in a sleepy area near a few office parks but if you drive about a mile you'll get to Donelson Pike which has a number of restaurants, gas stations, fast food places and other hotels.

Hotel: The hotel is a sprawling property which feels pretty dated outside and inside but the service make up for it.  Self parking is $15/day and valet is $21/day.  There's a large lobby with a business center in it, bar and restaurant which stays open late, Sheraton Club on the first floor (currently open thankfully) and a lot of meeting space.  There are only two elevators but I never encountered waits.

Check In: An extremely friendly agent checked me in and told me I'd been upgraded to a junior suite.  She also gave me welcome amenity points and said that I could also have the buffet breakfast as well as club access if I wanted.

Room: As is typical of a junior suite it's just a longer room.  There was a large living room area with a big couch and a desk behind it along with a kitchen area with a coffeemaker and two bottles of water.  The bed was comfortable and there were outlets next to it.  The bathroom was a bit small but there was a balcony.

Lounge: The lounge is open weekdays for breakfast and evening appetizers.  Breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal and breads and fruit.  Service in there was wonderful.

I really liked my stay here.  I felt the elite treatment was perfect and every staff member I dealt with was friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Sheraton Music City hotel this week on a mother daughter overnight staycation for my 8 year old daughter’s birthday. The hotel lobby is lovely and my daughter enjoyed the pool and outdoor courtyard. I’m thankful my daughter had a good time because unfortunately my experience with all other aspects of the hotel was not good. We arrived at check in time (at 3pm) and waited in a very long line only to be told that there were no rooms available and they didn’t know when one would be. After 45 minutes with a very very excited birthday girl I waited in another long line to see if there were rooms ready only to be told there were still none ready. We were not apologized to for the the inconvenience, nor were drink or breakfast coupons offered as an apology. After ANOTHER 30 minutes and ANOTHER long line, someone was able to finally get us into a room (that had 3 towels but no hand towels or wash clothes or even coffee.) We tried to shake off our bad check in experience. The worst came after check out, when I realized I had left my swimsuit and coverup hanging on the bathroom door. I tried calling the hotel that same day and was never able to get through to a person, I also tried messaging the hotel in the Bonvoy app and received no response. My husband who has bonvoy gold elite status was finally able to get through to someone on the phone today who said they were unable to talk to the person on staff who knew where lost and found was, they recommended him coming in person to talk to someone. We are local so he was able to do that (although for many other travelers that is not the case) he went and waited in the lobby for over 30 minutes to talk to someone and they said the head of housekeeping was out. Unfortunately since then they did let us know they have been unable to locate my items, which didn’t surprise me after everything else we experienced during our stay. I realize I’m this post-covid world many places are understaffed and that makes it hard to do business. However, when we are paying money for service and the Marriott name, even an apology would have gone a long way to have made our stay better. There are definitely better places to stay in Nashville and I would think twice about going to Sheraton Music City again.

I booked this hotel through Priceline. I got a great deal and was pretty excited.

My family always stays in minimum 4 star hotels unless it’s a fast nights sleep during a road trip, so we know what to expect.

The hotel is in a good location. We felt safe and the expressway was nearby. The outside of the hotel is nice but not “luxury.” We got to the hotel after dark and noticed some trash in the parking lot and a few raccoons picking through the trash. We figured maybe they had carried it to the parking lot? We didn’t really understand why we had to pay a daily parking fee since the hotel isn’t downtown and has its own dedicated lot with nothing else around. So, that was discouraging. We weren’t aware of it before arriving.

The lobby of the hotel is beautiful. Looked clean. A mask policy is in place but visitors to the restaurant/bar were clearly not wearing them as they walked around/to their rooms. So, yuck.

Our room had a sticker on the door saying it was disinfected... however, the broken glass on the floor, hair in the bathtub, and hair on the sheets say otherwise. I wiped everything down myself, just in case.

The room was underwhelming and dated. The surfaces were worn and not kept up. The beds weren’t great. Nothing 4 star about them.

My husband was excited about the balcony, until he saw the view of ac/heating units as far as the eye could see. We just left the curtains closed. This is literally the worst view I’ve ever had. A view of the parking lot would have been an improvement. It certainly killed our hopes and relaxing with a cup of coffee on the balcony during the mornings of our stay. The hotel appeared relatively empty so I’m not sure why they stuck us in that room.

We certainly will not be back. It’s not at all what we expected and didn’t add any comfort or relaxation to our trip.

My mom and I spent eight days in Nashville over Christmas. On our last night, we decided to rent a hotel room since it would be cheaper than an extra night in Airbnb. On the morning of December 28, 2021, we were repacking our suitcases. I brought my Beats Solo 3 wireless headphones so, I could listen to music on the plane. When I got to the airport several hours after checking out of the hotel and when I was going through security, I realized my Beats were not in my carry-on. Frantic, I called the hotel and explained the situation. The male at the front desk said he was going to have the Housekeeping Manager check the room and call me back. I waited for a callback and when I did not hear anything an hour later, I called again this time, I spoke with a female how indicated housekeeping had left for the day, but she would send an email and have the Housekeeping Manager call me the next day. The following day, Wednesday, I did not hear from the hotel so, I decided to call again on Thursday. I told the female on the phone these were very important to me as this item was the last Christmas gift I had received from my son before he passed away. She then said she would talk to the Housekeeping Manager and have him get back to me. I did not receive a call, but an email on Thursday, December 27, 2021 @ 12:27 pm stating that they did not find anything in the room and the room had been rented out since our sta. He was going to talk to the housekeeping staff who was working the floor that day, but she has been off for a couple of days. Needless to say, I have not heard back. The hotel was nice, but staff does not follow through. To them, the headphones are just a material item, but to me, they have special meaning.

Quite disappointed at the Sheraton Music City Hotel.
Upon check in I enter my room and see on the terrace a huge pile of dog feces. Not a pleasant site to say the least. I find a housekeeper in the hallway and show it to him. He tells me that when he will get to my room he will clean it. I also notice that in the bathroom there’s a used dirty face towel on the shower curtain.

Since I know a lot about the hospitality business from my clients I decided to report this to the Director of Housekeeping. I asked the front desk clerk to find the DOH so that I can explain my findings. An assistant to the DOH meets me in the lobby i explain who I am why I am concerned and ask for nothing in return but excellent service. He records my name room number and complaint in a notebook apologizes and states he will see to it that my stay improves and thanks me for bringing this to his attention.

Upon my return to my room the dog waste was gone.
That night the water did not drain from the sink. I called the front desk who assured me engineering will be right up to fix it. An hour later I called the front desk again and was informed that the engineer was on his break. That’s the type of info I should have been told an hour ago. Thirty minutes later the engineer comes and fixed the sink - or so I thought. The problem persisted through the weekend.
The box of tissues was empty and never replaced.
I don’t ask for much but I thought that after speaking to the man in charge of housekeeping these problems would stop. I was wrong.
On Sunday morning I had just one request. I asked for late check out. I was denied. I respectfully asked the front desk clerk if she was sure that there aren’t any notes in my folio that would have her rethink her decision. She said no.
Oh well. The Sheraton failed me. Live and learn.

I am Marriott Bonvoy titanium elite and they did recognize my status.

The hotel is in a beautiful place and it was nice enough. There were good things and bad things. First the bad.

The bathroom was not clean. I got out of the shower and looked up and there were yellow water drops dripping off the ceiling. There is no vent in the bathroom and I suppose people have smoked in the bathroom with the shower running to hide the smoke, creating the yellow drops of water that were dripping on me. Yuk.

You have to pay for parking, no big deal, but it took three times for them to get my card set up so that the gate would open for me. That was 3 times I had to walk in from the parking lot, a 5 minute walk before they finally got it fixed.

The club lounge was not open, but they gave us tickets for a complimentary breakfast in the buffet. It would be nice to have the club lounge open.

The good.
We used a suite nights and were given one of their junior suites which was really nice. The general room was was clean. The bed was very comfortable. It was quiet and great for sleeping.

We didn't use the pool because they had some maintenance going on, but it did look nice. There was also a good gym with plenty of equipment and a view.

This is a nice hotel. It would be so much better if the club lounge was open, the bathroom was clean and they would teach the staff how to add parking to your room card.

On my arrival It was snowing, there were no valet, no bell hops, etc. Not a big deal, but then I was given the key to my room...first thing I noticed was not one, but multiple bugs throughout the room. I called to the front desk, she told me most of the staff had gone home, would I like to change rooms. UMMM YES! Moved rooms to the next room where there again were stink bugs in the room (not a big deal, those I am okay with) start unpacking for a second time and noticed the counters weren't very clean. So I break out my own handy dandy clorox wipes that I carry everywhere these days, and let me tell you....every single surface was disgusting. So I spent the first two hours of my trip wiping down every single surface and spraying the beds, the floor, surfaces etc with lysol. I dropped my phone on the floor one night and found....you guessed it, a dirty used condom under the bed. I was utterly disgusted, refused to take my shoes off the entire trip. I am so appalled that this is a Marriott. Usually I have a great experience with them. Won't ever stay here again

My husband and I arrived 3 nights ago for our honeymoon. We booked this hotel because the corner suites were large (room 2081) and since we would be here 4 nights, I wanted enough room that we wouldn't be tripping over each other during the day. We paid extra for the breakfast and the parking to be inclusive - which is a joke on both counts. The hotel sits atop a very large hill, on its own huge parking lot. There's no reason whatsoever to charge guests parking. There are two things I take for granted in a Marriott hotel. A comfy bed and good ac. Since this hotel was on the Marriott website, I assumed it was up to their standards. It is definitely not. For whatever reason, the management of this hotel has decided to install motion activated thermostats in the bedrooms. This means that whatever temperature is good for you to sleep at is unachievable in the room, because you will be in the bed SLEEPING (you hope) and an hour later wake up hot and sweaty - because you haven't been awake and moving to entertain the thermostat. The beds here are trash. They are extremely hard. Every morning I wake up much more sore than when I went to bed, with my back feeling progressively worse. I have not had one comfortable nights sleep since we arrived Tuesday. We have one night left and for the first time in my entire life I am strongly considering leaving a day early from vacation rather than spend another uncomfortable sleepless night where I wake up 5 times sweaty. The staff promised to send maintenance up to fix the thermostat and they never did, so I can only imagine it is working as intended. There is no placard for the door for housekeeping and they haven't once come in to change the sheets or towels. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It has ruined my honeymoon and I will never stay at another Sheraton.

When we stayed, I honestly don't remember WIFI...were too busy to pay attention. They have various shuttle services not affiliated with the hotel. We would pay a one time per person per day $20 to get back and forth.

Try this. I got price from a site for a room at sheraton music city hotel. And then called the hotel and said that the site gave me a price of say 125 dollars. I said to hotel reservations desk that i do not want to go through third party. I would like this room for same price of 125 dollars. She said i really can not do that. I said to her that i trust going straight through hotel than third parties. And after a few times saying this she gave me the SAME PRICE THAT A SITE GAVE ME. YES. IT WORKS. i do not believe in third parties i said. I believe going straight through hotel. TRY THIS. they want your money, will not turn you away.
