Mercure Barcelona Condor is located close to FGC lines which connect you to the public transportation via Pl Catalunya. The hotel itself offers nice perks for top tier ALL member. Otherwise we would not have chosen this hotel.
Decent upgrade to room with spacious balcony. Room was rather tiny (around 16sqm) and no wardrobe.

Really bad experience...ended up costing over £50 more than expected...just a money making machine. Unfriendly, ignorant staff. Supposedly 4* but I've stayed in better hostels. 20 minute walk to nearest metro station and limited facilities nearby. Lack of atmosphere and an intensely strong cologne smell prevading the corridor. Badly designed showers which leaked water through door. A really hot room, ac didn't work and too noisy to open window. Bad TV reception and poor choice of English channels. Breakfast was uneventful and lacking in variety, restaurant never open and room service menu overpriced. Would never stay here again.

The thing that I liked most about this hotel was the breakfast. A really good choice of different types of food. It was well organised, tables were cleaned after guest left, nothing was ever finished.
The room that i had was 110 and this was not the best location actually. Being on the front side of the hotel at the 2nd floor (first floor = breakfast area) it was the most noisy part of the hotel. The first night sleep was not so good, but the 2nd night i got used to the cars. But i think sleeping late would be difficult as the noise starts early.
The room itself was very clean and spacious. But it has a bit of outdated afmosphere for me. It could use a make over.
It was not super expensive, 150 euros including breakfast. So taking this into account it was quite a good value for money. And if you just ask for a room not on the front side, everything will be even better.

The team at the reception during the day was unfriendly and unhelpful during the 4 days of our stay. No recognition of our loyal upon arrival, no information about the property and the rooms for a first visit was provided. The staff was a trainee and did not show any social skills. Taxis were booked for each morning in advance and they never came. The reception team did not apologize for it and never show empathy although they knew about the issue. They did not care which was obvious. It took ages to checkout as they were not organized and several emails to get a correct invoice.
The rooms were quite basic with several conditional issues. Mattresses were old and hairs were noticed each day in the linen as well as the bathrooms.
Breakfast was ok but there was only one team member and tables were never cleared.
Clearly not a good example of a Mercure hotel and for sure of an Accor property.

Our experience at this hotel was disappointing. While the reception staff was friendly and the room was clean, we were extremely frustrated by the pet policy. Despite advertising as pet-friendly, we were informed upon arrival that our dog couldn't be left alone in the room for any period of time. This prevented us from visiting the monuments we had already paid to see. We believe the hotel's pet policy should be clearly stated to avoid inconveniencing guests.

You could not swing a cat in the (‘superior’) room I had. The room safe barely managed with two passports it was so small.
The gym opens at 9am - not much good for business users and it was overly basic!
There is no room service; it was barked at me that it was an ‘external service’ which I understood the first time it was shouted (in fairness in a raised voice) at me. However, it didn’t arrive so I had to go out to find a restaurant that would serve me at 11 at night.
Overall this is a very poor hotel and the only reason I give it 2 out of 5 is because the shower was half decent!
Avoid this place like the plague.

We have a wonderful stay here for a few nights away. The rooms are clean, bright, modern and welcoming and the standard of room is quite high. The hotel is located very close to a metro station and relatively easy to access from the airport. The Reception staff were welcoming and we really enjoyed the quietness of the property. The TV is of an excellent standard and we stayed win a Suite and was surprised at having two TV's. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and we will most definitely be back.

This is a really nice hotel just outside of the city centre. Therefore it is much more quiet and, the subway is close by. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The terrace is beautiful with a view over the city, when it is good weather it is a very good spot to enjoy a wine or a beer.

Nice and boutique style Mercure hotel with nice and medium size rooms with terrasse located on the 7th floor of the building . Managua, Nicaragua243 contributions77 helpful votesPlease need to know: if there is a grocery store/supermarket close to the hotel and a tapas bar near the hotel that you can recommend or late entertainment Thank you.
When you come out of the hotel, cross the street and turn right. 100m further you will find a night and day shop where you can fin ALL you want.
If you go 200m further, you will arrive at a square where you will find the subway station and 5 restaurants. Be careful, when I was there ( March), they closed at 10pm.

1. Taking AEROBUS (5.9€ VAT included/pp) from any terminal airport, will arrive to "Plaça Catalunya" and then crossing back the square, take any line (L6, S1, S2) from FGC(Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya - directly to "Muntaner" station. Therefore, just walk for 3 minutes arriving to the hotel.
2. From the Terminal 2 you should take train (Renfe), get off in "Sants" station and change to line 5 Metro (blue) until "Diagonal" station and change again to Ferrocarrils (L6, S1, S2) and get off in "Muntaner" station.
Then, walking around 3 minutes by Via Augusta will arrive to the hotel.
Remember: Metro and train lines, work until midnight. Other option, from Sants station you can take a taxi to the hotel (around 10€ approx.).
Traveling from the airport station, buy a T-10 card (10 travel – 10.30€) is valid to travel in all metro and train system.
