Simply delicious. From starters to dessert everything was very good. We enjoyed a lot eating in that restaurant. After a week of tapas, paella and seafood we got some perfect meat, as slow cooked lamb, foie mi cuit, beef onglet accompanied with a good Syrah. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Barcelona

I've been searching for neighborhood bistro-style restaurants in BCN, like the type you'd find in France. I love tapas, but it's difficult to find BCN restaurants serving continental cuisine that aren't super expensive. We went here for our wedding anniversary (we used the 50% ElTenedor discount) and loved it. We had the foie gras, the pulpo, and the tuna tartare to start, and I had the salmon and he had the rabo de buey. All was excellent. Service was kind and helpful (even during the hell of MWC week and all the business tourists), and when they discovered it was our anniversary they brought a single truffle with a candle in it. (we also had the chocolate chip bizcocho dessert, which was unusual and delicious). Recommend!! We will definitely return.

Everything about our dining experience today was exceptional. We were greeted on arrival and shown to our table. Our waitress when asked recommended what she believed to be the best dishes on the men and she wasn’t wrong. I chose the octopus to start followed by lamb and then banoffee pie and everything was first class. My partner had a focus grais terrine and veal with sweetbreads and steak tartare and bone marrow followed by chocolate truffles and he was amazed. We washed this down with a bottle of Tempranillo. The food was so reasonable for the quality and service received and I would highly recommend to couples and friends wanting a fine dining experience . Our waitress was so professional and couldn’t have done enough to look after us. Thank you.

This restaurant has a very interesting strategy…the dishes have very attractive names that don’t match with expectations. We had “centollo cantábrico” (spiny crab) well, it was just a kind of russian salad (no taste of centollo), caldo de langosta (lobster broth) well, it was water with colorant because was tasteless. Lubina Salvaje…for the size and taste it was not wild at all, frozen and from a fish farm. We also had lubina ceviche , no comments…the bread was undercooked and chewy…everything will be ok for a 10 euros menu (ah…they brought and charged water in an open bottle…it could be water from the tap) and I would never make a review of it, but this restaurant charges you more than 80 euros for these dishes…(we didn’t ask for dessert of course, and by the way nobody asked what happened). And here is the interesting strategy…if you booked it from “the fork” you have 40% discount …so we payed 55 euros instead of 85 euros…wow! This restaurant is amazing! Never again.

Absolutely perfect from start to finish. We came here for my birthday and I was so happy about this. The staff was absolutely outstanding. Polity, ultra effective and with a sense of humour. The lady that does the wine is very knowledgeable and everything is served in a lovely original way. The menu is amazing. There are many super interesting choices and a perfect flavoured dish for any taste. The dishes are of very high quality ingredients and look like pieces of art on your plate. A brilliant restaurant for any occasion. The prices are super good too! This is now my favourite restaurant in Barcelona and loved the experience.

This restaurant lived up to expectations, the food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and our “Fork” discount was applied without having to mention it. We had two starters, two mains, two desserts, water, and a bottle of wine for €110. Book ahead!

Had a late lunch here...we started with the egg and potato with black truffle and the seafood broth. The egg and potato with truffle was outstanding, the broth was lacking bold flavor. Our mains were the beef cheeks and the crispy sweetbread with steak tartar, accompanied by pomme frites. Again, my wife's choice of beef cheeks was excellent while my sweetbread was just OK... I thought it would be crispy from Charbroil but it was more like fried. Had a nice bottle of rosè and shared the butter cookie with dulce de Leche for dessert...quite good! The a la carte menu is not cheap at 15-24€ per plate but the 50% off booking with The Fork app made it quite reasonable at 71€ in total!

There is an excellent, delicious sounding menu and it was hard to choose what to eat because we wanted so much. The starters are aimed for two people sharing and even between two, it's a generous portion. We had the flavour explosion and the name says it all. For mains, I loved the oxtail pasta which was somehow really rich but not at all heavy. My mum had the sea bass which was delicious also. We both agreed that the quality was fine dining but the portion size was not the usual tiny amount you expect from somewhere so good. Puddings were lovely and the waiter's wine recommendation was excellent. If we lived locally, we would come every week! The service is not fast but it is very friendly and for the quality of food, I would wait all day if I had to! You must go! (Book if going at busy times. We booked through The Fork and got a discount on food)

Booked this as a romantic meal with my wife and we weren't disappointed. The food is simply superb. Full of flavour and very well presented. The Lamb was amazing. My wife is vegetarian and the restaurant catered for her brilliantly and she loved the food. The staff were welcoming and attentive but not overbearing. Best of all, the price of the meal was very reasonable for the quality provided. I would happily pay more for the meal.

We ordered Caviar , which the menu said it was osetra from Iran. After 40 minutes we got Caviar from a town in Spain, and it wasn't osetra. If they don't have it don't post it on the menu or, at least, disclose it when someone orders it. The rest of the meal was also disappointing, the canalon was tasteless and covered with fried leeks, which overpowered the little taste the canalon had, the rabo de Toro with foi pearls was just a big meatball of shredded meat with no traces of foi and a very bland tasteless sauce. Nothing came with a "guarnicion" or side dish and this should be disclosed. The space is nice, the service was courteous, the wine list adequate, but the dishes, while appealing and nicely described in the menu, were misleading and very disappointing. Obviously someone has good ideas but they are badly executed in the kitchen. Will not go back, will not recommend.

This is not food, this is the maximum expression of art. A masterful blend of super high quality ingredients, meticulously prepared food and rousing flavor profiles. Every single dish that came out of the kitchen was triumphantly good. The dining room is the perfect compliment to the food. A dimly lit, fairytale inspired setting filled with the glow of warm hues, ornate murals and opulent floral arrangements that serve as focal points of the dining room.

This restaurant, the food, service and atmosphere was absolutely perfect. Everything was faultless and I ate the most incredible food. We had a 7 course taster menu which toured us round the sea, the land and air and our tastebuds a real experience. The staff were so very friendly and professional and I felt they couldn’t do enough to make our visit very special. I would recommend this restaurant highly.

One of the best dining experience that we had at Barcelona, cocina de Autor, food is amazing, the owner attend our table personally. My wife and me were on our anniversary and the refomendations from him were just amazing. Wine, Ceviche, Beef tartar and the pastry were amazing. The ambience of the palce is really romantic with candles and staff is really friendly, great service. We love it.

A really nice experience. The waiters were very professional and welcoming. The menu was full of interesting and tempting dishes. Prices were at a resonable lever. The five of us made different choices of starters, maindishes and deserts. We were all very satisfied with both the appearances and tastes of everything. We can truly recommend this fantastik restaurant.
