Real Housewives of Miami star Nicole Martin, 38, candidly opens up about the cosmetic procedures she has had - but insists she is NOT a fan of filler

Real Housewives of Miami star Dr. Nicole Martin is getting real about which cosmetic procedures she has had done in the past - and why she doesn't use filler anymore.

The 38-year-old anesthesiologist - who joined the series in 2021 - is used to sharing her life on screen and now, she's divulging her favorite cosmetic procedures.

The reality star admitted she's tried 'all things skin care and cosmetic treatments' - including Botox and filler - but didn't like the result as it changed the way she looked.

'I felt like I didn't look like myself and that the fillers were starting to migrate,' Martin, who didn't specify when she had the injections dissolved, explained.

'I'd smile and see little uneven areas,' she continued, which promoted her to rethink her skin routine.

'I was like, "I'm going to try and dissolve as much as I can and work on my skin and try to build my own collagen,"' she said.

Martin, who shares two children with fiancé Anthony Lopez, is the first to admit hasn't always taken good care of her skin.

'It wasn't until about 10 years ago, when I turned 30, that I really started to invest in and take care of my skin,' she explained in an interview with RealSelf.

She continued: 'It's been about a decade that I've been really passionate about wellness in general.'

The star said she now wants to focus on her skin being the 'best version of itself' - urging people not to underestimate the importance of general health and wellness.

'Beauty is multifaceted,' the Bravo star pointed out. 'It's like a pizza pie, and everything is a slice and plays a role — skincare, Botox, overall wellness.

'It's multifaceted, and you have to get at it from all angles,' she quipped.

Now, Martin's skincare routine consists of Botox for wrinkles, and monthly facials.

In addition, she also does micro-needling treatments, like Morpheus8 - something that's meant to help stimulate the skin's production of collagen.

This isn't the first time that Martin, who recently created her own skincare line, Exoceuticals, has shared her thoughts on filler.

While speaking to Page Six in March, she shared a similar sentiment.

'I tried to fill in a little bit of areas where I felt had lost some collagen and fat over the years,' she told the outlet.

'And I just, I felt like it looked so unnatural in my opinion,' the star added.

Dermal filler, often referred to as filler, are a kind of injectable that can smooth lines on the face, plump up certain areas, and make sagging skin appear more full, per Cleveland Clinic.

It has become a bit of a controversial topic in recent years, with one plastic surgeon even sharing his unpopular opinions about the injections in December, claiming that filler can last for decades.
