Trevor Lawrence and stunning wife Marissa throw gender reveal party with couple set to have a GIRL after announcing first baby is on the way

Trevor Lawrence and stunning wife Marissa announced they are expecting a baby girl in a lavish gender reveal party this weekend.

Lawrence, who recently put pen to paper on a huge five-year, $275million contract extension with the Jacksonville Jaguars, is set to become a dad for the first time after Marissa confirmed last month that she has fallen pregnant.

The loved-up couple first met back in 2016, before getting engaged in 2020 and tying the knot one year later. Now, three years on their wedding, they are due to have their first child together.

Just under two weeks since the pregnancy announcement, Trevor and Marissa, both 24, threw a gender reveal party on Saturday to confirm whether their baby will be a boy or a girl.

And while surrounded by pink and blue balloons, it was revealed that the pair are having a girl after pink fireworks and smoke was set off in the background.

Lawrence and his wife then poured a pink Hershey's syrup onto a giant ice cream to celebrate their incoming daughter.

Their shared post on Instagram included the caption: 'Baby girl - Mom & Dad can’t wait to meet you!!'

At the end of June they revealed the big news by collaboratively sharing a series of pictures in which they proudly held photos of their baby scan aloft.

The caption read: 'A little Lawrence on the way,' along with a white heart emoji.

The carousel showed the soon-to-be parents posing with the ultrasound in hand, as well as indoor and outdoor flicks of them with their dogs and a polaroid of Trevor standing behind Marissa with his hands on her baby bump.

Lawrence's team then shared one of the pictures on their page to celebrate the Jacksonville quarterback's achievement.

Trevor met Marissa in 2016, while they were in high school. The pair began dating and got engaged four years later in Memorial Stadium at Clemson University. They then tied the knot in 2021 - the same year Trevor was drafted into the NFL.

Following a successful career with the Tigers, which included a National Title win over Alabama in 2018, Lawrence was by the Jaguars with the first overall pick.

Since his arrival he has led the Jaguars to a playoff appearance in 2022 - when they beat the LA Chargers in the Wild Card before losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional playoffs.

Last month Lawrence signed his five-year Jaguars extension to make his reported $275million deal with $200m guaranteed official.

He was entering the final year of his contract before the agreement with the potential of the franchise tag or free agency looming. Lawrence said he didn't give any consideration to moving on from the Jaguars.

'The direction we're heading on the football side, that makes it obviously a no-brainer for us,' he said after signing his new deal.

'We're headed in the right direction. I want to be the quarterback here. I want to bring a championship to Jacksonville. That's my goal. I really know that we can accomplish that.'
