Sophia Bush took to Instagram on Sunday evening to give fans a glimpse at her life the day before she turned 42-years-old.
Included in her photo dump were loved-up photos of the actress with her 38-year-old girlfriend Ashlyn Harris.
The two were joined by a large group of gal pals in one photo, which saw the retired soccer player wrap an arm around the One Tree Hill alum.
Sophia flashed a big grin as she was stylishly dressed in a royal blue T-shirt tucked into white Bermuda shorts.
In a caption to her 4.6 million followers, she wrote, '☀️❤️ some summer ❤️☀️.'

The women made their red carpet debut in April, at the star-studded White House Correspondents Dinner hosted by Colin Jost.
Shortly beforehand, Sophia had announced their relationship by penning an essay in Glamour magazine in which she also came out as 'queer.'
When romance rumors began swirling about her and Ashlyn last year, Sophia was accused of being a 'homewrecker.'

She wrote that she and Ashlyn first became acquainted in 2019 but did not become a couple until October 2023 — after their respective marriages fell apart.
In her coming out essay, Sophia — who was previously married to her One Tree Hill co-star Chad Michael Murray — revealed that her past male suitors had been aware that she was also attracted to women.
In June, the actress marked her first pride month since coming out, and shared a heartfelt message to her Instagram.

And days earlier, on the Fourth of July, she debuted a new red-tinted hair color as she shared a trio of glowy selfies.
