A Rick Springfield fan reportedly had the authorities called on her after she allegedly made two unwanted visits to the rocker's Los Angeles-area property.
TMZ reports a woman gained access to Springfield's property twice in the past week after she convinced security at his gated community that she was his maid.
The fan - a woman in her 40's - never actually came into contact with Springfield, 74, however, she did manage to appear at his front door and speak with one of his sons during her second visit.
Deputies were reportedly contacted and the woman was ordered by them to leave the property and never return.
According to the authorities, the woman did indeed leave and has not yet returned.

However, police will be conducting even more patrolling in the community out of an abundance of caution.
This particular case is not deemed stalking, according to TMZ.
'The term “stalking” means engaging in a course of conduct directed at a specific person that would cause a reasonable person to fear for his or her safety or the safety of others or suffer substantial emotional distress,' according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
A musician and actor, Rick was born Richard Lewis Springthorpe in Australia but is known professionally as Rick Springfield.
From 1969 to 1971, he was a member of the pop rock group Zoot before embarking on his own solo career.
He released his debut single Speak to the Sky, which reached the top 10 in Australia in mid-1972.
However, he is perhaps best known for his iconic 1980 pop tune Jessie's Girl.
As an actor, Springfield's resume includes a long-running role on the daytime soap opera General Hospital, where he played Dr. Noah Drake.
More recently he was on Californication, The Goldbergs and True Detective.
In 2015 he gave a stunning performance as Greg, Meryl Streep's rocker boyfriend, in Ricki And The Flash.
