Trump reveals the real reason he thinks Biden won't drop out and says First Lady Jill is 'having a good time' while her husband publicly flounders

Donald Trump thinks President Joe Biden won't step aside in November because he has too much of an ego to end his reelection bid and that First Lady Jill Biden is having too much of a 'good time' in the White House to want to leave.

Amid rising calls from lawmakers, donors, strategists and members within the Democratic Party for Biden to withdraw from the race, the president has doubled-down that he won't drop out.

Now the former president is weighing-in on the future of his competitor's campaign and claiming he won't cave to the pressure to withdraw.

'It looks to me like he may very well stay in,' Trump told Fox News host Sean Hannity during his first interview since much of the Democratic Party turned against Biden.

'He's got an ego, and he doesn't want to quit,' the presumed Republican nominee added in the Monday evening call-in interview. 'He doesn't want to do that… nobody wants to give that up in that way. He's going to feel badly about himself for a long time.'

A chorus of Democrats have come forward in the last 10 days calling for the 81-year-old president to end his reelection campaign, but it seems those demands are falling on deaf ears so far.

Trump also claims that Jill is 'having a good time' serving as first lady at the expense of her husband's very public decline after his car crash debate performance on June 27.

Several post-debate reports reveal that Biden was looking to the first lady, and other family members, for guidance on if he should continue running for reelection after bombing at the debate and fumbling what was supposed to be his clean-up interview with ABC News.

'I think Jill would like to see him stay, she's having a good time,' Trump speculated to Hannity. 'I noticed she really seems to be having a good time.'

Asked if Trump cares if Biden stays in the race or steps aside, the former president said: 'Well we prepared for him, but I don't think it's going to matter.'

Democratic lawmakers who want Biden out think he should be replaced on the ballot with Vice President Kamala Harris.

But Trump says it's too late to get a different candidate on the Democratic ticket and claims there's no way Biden voluntarily steps aside.

'He has all the power, he has the delegates,' Trump said, referencing the fact that Biden ran virtually unopposed in his primary and has the delegates to become the nominee.

Trump added: 'There's nothing they can do to get him out.'
