Actor Kamal Haasan is gearing up for the release of his film 'Indian 2', which is set to hit the big screens in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi on July 12. The actor is on a promotion spree for the film and is traveling to different parts of India. In a recent promotional interview with Pinkvilla, the actor revealed that he has been pushing Mani Ratnam to make a Hindi film once again.

When questioned if Kamal Haasan will outrightly do a Hindi film again like his classics 'Chachi 420' and 'Ek Duuje Ke Liye', the actor replied that that's what he is convincing Mani Ratnam to do with their next project, 'Thug Life'. The actor added that though they are halfway through the film, he is still trying to convince Mani Ratmam to make it in Hindi as well. The duo worked on the film 'Nayakan', and now their second film is a gangster action drama starring Kmala Hasan, Trisha, Simbu, Abhirami, Nasser, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautham Karthik, Joju George, and Ashok Selvan. The movie also stars Sanya Malhotra, Ali Fazal, and Pankaj Tripathi. The music for it is composed by AR Rahman.
