Surbhi Chandna spoke about the time when the makers considered replacing her in 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'

In an old interview with PinkVilla, the actress discussed the incident and shared, "Even Taarak Mehta's team was going to replace me.My mom scared me to do better."
She also mentioned that producer Asit Kumar Modi had approached her mother and conveyed that Surbhi needed to perform well because the entire plot depended on her. Recalling those moments, the actress admitted uncertainty about her performance but acknowledged that those episodes continue to be aired even today.

According to her, her mother always finds positivity in every situation, whether good or bad, and Surbhi feels she has learned from this outlook. She reflected on a challenging period during Ishqbaaz when she would express doubts, feeling like giving up, but her family encouraged her to be patient. Surbhi Chandna expressed gratitude for the opportunities the show has provided, describing them as unparalleled in her career.
According to the actress' mother, Shashi Chandna, it came as no surprise when Surbhi expressed her desire to pursue acting. "I was not surprised when she told me she wants to be an actor. I had an actor friend who used to tell me all about her work and I was sort of obsessed with it. I would share those stories with Surbhi and I think that had inspired her in some ways."
