Recently, Jaideep Ahlawat reacted to the overwhelming reception received for the YRF & Netflix-backed film, ‘Maharaj’.
Co-starring Junaid Khan, the film has achieved significant acclaim, entering the global top ten list across 22 non-English-speaking countries. Since its release on June 21, ‘Maharaj’ garnered an impressive 5.3 million views in its second week alone.

Commenting on the global reception of ‘Maharaj,’ Jaideep said he is overwhelmed by the love and appreciation the film is receiving worldwide. He added that trending in 22 countries and seeing all the love coming in is incredibly gratifying. He credited the entire team for putting the film together.

Set in 1862, the film revolves around the Maharaj Libel Case, which unfolded in the Supreme Court of Bombay. The case pits a prominent religious figure against Karsandas Mulji, a journalist and social reformer, in a contentious legal battle.
