Vijay Varma on working with Shah Rukh Khan: ‘He makes you feel like the only person in his life’

Vijay Varma carved a niche in the industry with his performance in 'Gully Boy', since then, he has portrayed several memorable characters, including Hamza Shaikh in the 2022 film 'Darlings.' Recently, Vijay opened up about his experience working on a Shah Rukh Khan production and interacting with the superstar.
In an interview with Mashable India, Vijay shared his feelings about the unique and personal interactions he had with Khan, despite not having the chance to act alongside him.He expressed his admiration for Shah Rukh Khan, noting that the superstar has a remarkable ability to make people feel exceptionally special.
He recalled his meetings with Shah Rukh Khan, describing how these interactions never felt like business meetings. Instead, Khan has a way of making the conversation feel personal, almost as if he has been thinking about you all day. "He never makes you feel like you are having a business meeting with him. The conversation always feels personal, and he makes you believe that he only thinks about you the whole day," Varma said.
Reflecting on SRK’s nature, Varma added, "Inke jeevan mein agar koi hai toh woh main hoon, aur ye apni family se bhi baat karte honge mere baare mein, khaate waqt bhi meri hi filme lagaate honge (I am the only one around whom his life revolves, he must be talking about me with his family also, even while having his meal, he must be watching my film)." Vijay also recalled telling him to call whenever he felt like talking to him.Professionally, Vijay Varma is busy promoting 'Mirzapur Season 3', where he plays a double role. The new season featuring Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Shweta Tripathi, and Rasika Dugal, started streaming on July 5.
