Filmmaker Karan Johar recently shared insights about his relationship status, stating he is no longer searching for a partner. While he remains open to the possibility of a relationship, he is not actively seeking it. Speaking with Faye D'Souza, Karan revealed he has experienced "one and a half relationships" and shifted his focus from finding companionship after turning 50, despite actively looking when he turned 40.
KJo revealed that he has been single for quite a while now, having been in only one and a half relationships in his entire life.
He expressed great enjoyment in his single status, emphasizing that he doesn't foresee changing it. For him, the priority lies in managing responsibilities towards his children and his mother, rather than sharing space or schedules with a partner.

He also mentioned that he felt a void when he turned 40, but by the time he reached 50, he no longer desired a relationship actively. Although he explored agencies, blind dates, and met people locally and internationally, he's now open to a relationship if it happens naturally but doesn't feel a pressing need for it anymore.

He mentioned experiencing unrequited love, which inspired his film 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,' reflecting his own journey and the profound lessons he learned about the nature of love.
Recently on his 52nd birthday, Karan Johar had announced his next directorial. Holding up a script, the filmmaker refrained from revealing the release date, title or cast of his next ambitious project.
