According to the Sacnilk website, the movie has collected Rs 11.2 crore from the Kerala box office in just five days.

On day five, the Malayalam (2D) version of 'Kalki 2898 AD' saw varying occupancy rates in theaters across Kerala.
Morning shows had an occupancy of 8.76%, afternoon shows saw 16.84%, evening shows had 21.11%, and night shows peaked at 32.70%.
The film's technical aspects have also been widely praised. The music, composed by Santhosh Narayanan, adds depth to the movie's futuristic and mythological themes. Serbian cinematographer Djordje Stojiljkovic's work behind the camera has been lauded for its visual brilliance, while Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao's editing ensures a gripping narrative flow.

'Kalki 2898 AD' presents a dystopian world inspired by Hindu scriptures and is set in the year 2898 AD. The film's narrative revolves around a modern avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu, who descends to Earth to protect the world from malevolent forces. The climax fight sequence of the movie is said to be the main highlight of the movie.
The movie features an ensemble cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani, alongside Prabhas in the lead role.
