Nawazuddin Siddqui says he misses Sridevi dearly as 'Mom' clocks 7 years: 'Ding a film with you was a privilege and a joy'

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has carved a distinguished career in the entertainment industry, showcasing versatility and exceptional acting skills. Recently, he took to social media to express gratitude towards a co-star from the film Mom.
On the seventh anniversary of his film, Nawazuddin reflected on memories from the shoot and fondly recalled working with the late cinematic icon, Sridevi.

Nawaz took to his Instagram Stories to share a video highlighting moments from the film, including a brief clip featuring an interview with the late Sridevi. Hereminisced about his time working with Sridevi, expressing, "Even today, I deeply miss Sridevi. It was a privilege and joy to work with her in 'MOM.' Thanks for your kind words."

Released on July 7, 2017, 'MOM' is a gripping thriller acclaimed for its intense storyline and powerful performances. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film follows a mother's pursuit of justice after her stepdaughter is assaulted. Nawazuddin Siddiqui portrayed a private detective, showcasing his versatility. The cast includes Akshaye Khanna, Sajal Aly, and Adnan Siddiqui, with AR Rahman as the music director.

Sridevi tragically passed away on February 28, 2018, found deceased in the bathtub of her room at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai. The autopsy report determined 'accidental drowning' as the cause of her death.
On the work front, Nawazuddin was last seen in Haddi. His latest release, 'Rautu Ka Raaz', also premiered on an OTT platform on June 28. Directed by Anand Surapur, this mystery drama co-stars Atul Tiwari, Rajesh Kumar, and Narayani Shastri.
