A digital artist has created photographs of what the characters of The Simpsons would like if they were real people.
Hidreley Diao, who uses the handle @hidreley on Instagram and who regularly contributes his artwork to Bored Panda, created snaps using a variety of clever apps to show what Matt Groening's hugely popular characters might look like as humans.
Using Photoshop, FaceApp, Gradiente and Remini, there's not a yellow hue in sight in the AI interpretations, with the likes of Milhouse van Houten, Moe Szyslak, Bart and Ned Flanders all looking disturbingly real.
Writing for Bored Panda, Hidreley said he used AI to try and help fans visualise what their favourite characters might look like if they met them in the street.

He said: 'When we watch some animation, it is natural to accept the cartoonish proportions of the characters without any problems, after all, we are quite used to this type of trait.
'But what if, as in a spell, they became real, flesh and blood? I tried to bring them into our world through artificial intelligence.'
He said the process was a 'challenge' but that he was delighted with how the AI human versions of the show's protagonists worked out.

Meanwhile, Mr Burns, who's known for his long nose and buckets of cash, looks more wrinkled in AI...but alarmingly similar.
And Ned Flanders large moustache makes him look not dissimilar to Ted Lasso.
Diao added that he loves the flexibility of AI art: 'With the rise of AI-assisted art generation, there are virtually (no pun intended) no boundaries for digital art, you just have to be creative and know how to guide the blind hand of the machine.'
Other animated favourites get the same treatment, including Carl Fredricksen, the main character in Disney Pixar's 2009 film Up, who looks cheerier when imagined as a real person.
Diao's creations aren't just 21st century-based; he's also pushed back the hands of time to imagine how famous historical figures might look as modern day humans, including the Statue of Liberty and Leonardo Da Vinci.
