'Every effort was made to push through and play for you, but it is no longer an option to continue.'

At the moment, there is no suggestion that Gothenburg's Way Out West Festival on August 8, Oya Festival on August 9 and Copenhagen's Syd for Solen on August 10 have been cancelled.

The band added in the caption: 'Queens are gutted we aren't able to play for you. We apologize for any inconvenience and share in your frustration and disappointment'.

Josh was diagnosed with cancer in 2022 and underwent successful surgery, saying at the time he was 'extremely thankful that I'll get through this'.

He later told Revolver magazine in June 2023 that he was 'still healing' after the surgery.

He told the publication: 'Cancer is just the cherry on top of an interesting time period, you know? I'm extremely thankful that I'll get through this.'

He did not reveal what type of cancer it was but did say the surgery to remove it was successful and that he was in the recovery process.

Josh said: 'I never say it can't get any worse. I never say that, and I wouldn't advise it. But I do say it can get better.

'There's a lot of stuff I want to do. And there's a lot of people I want to do that with.'
