The Bachelorette is thrown into CHAOS as viewers are left fuming at huge glitch during premiere with Jenn Tran: 'What is going on with the broadcast?'

The Bachelorette's historic season 21 premiere – which introduced Jenn Tran as the first ever Asian American lead - was thrown into chaos on Monday night when audio issues left frustrated viewers unable to hear the dialogue.

As the 26-year-old physician assistant from Hillsdale, New Jersey, made her hotly anticipated debut, fans flocked to social media to complain that they could only hear background music and nothing Jenn was saying.

It appeared that all major streaming platforms were affected, with issues reported on YouTube TV, the ABC App, Fubo, and Hulu.

Social media was abuzz with complaints, with many begging ABC to 'fix' the problem at hand.

'Hello Bachelorette, I am watching from Denver, CO on Hulu TV,' wrote one fan on X. 'There is no audio for the dialogue. We can hear the background music, and the talking on commercials. But no dialogue from the show. What gives?'

Another asked: 'What is going on with the broadcast of the Bachelorette? The sound is all messed up!'

A third said: 'Is anyone else watching The Bachelorette on YouTube TV and it's only showing the background sound like no vocals.'

'MY BACHELORETTE HAS NO SOUND WHAT DO I DO?' a fourth posted.

A fifth begged: 'Fix it @ABC! The Bachelorette has no audio! Just music on all platforms.'

Over on Reddit, another said: 'Is anyone else experiencing no sound just the annoying ass background music?! Watching on ABC the seasons 1st episode at airing time.'

DailyMail.com understands that the audio outage was an isolated technical issue in one market and the full episode is available to stream now on Hulu.

The Bachelorette's two-hour premiere opened ominously with Jenn in a white gown on a beach telling someone: 'I can't let you propose to me.'

Jenn was then shown putting what appeared to be the final rose on a small table and walking away.

'Are you okay with whatever's gonna happen here?' show host Jesse Palmer, 45, asked her.

Jenn nodded and then a clip showed her walking down a hallway, knocking on a door and then bursting in.

The show then cut to the singleton in Boston as she introduced herself.

'I can't even believe that this is real,' she enthused in her confessional.

'I acknowledge that going on The Bachelorette to find love is not the traditional way to find love, but I'm not really a traditional girl in the first place.'

She reflected on competing on season 28 of The Bachelor starring Joey Graziadei, 29, and said she was heartbroken but her family was supportive and lifted her spirits.

'Family means so much to me,' she said. 'My mom immigrated over here from Vietnam to give me a better future. I love her so much, and I know how deeply she loves me.'

By the end of the episode, Jenn singled out contractor Sam McKinney, 27, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for the coveted First Impression rose.

Sam asked how she was feeling, and Jenn admitted that she was nervous.

'I don't know,' she said. 'I feel like there has been something there, and I can't stop thinking about you all night.

'And I don't always, you know, like, pick the right men, but there is something in my gut that's just telling me that, you know, there's something here, and I'm really excited about it.

'And I'm really excited to get to know you a lot more. And I can't stop thinking about you, so I'm excited about it. Um, so, Sam will you accept this rose?'

'Absolutely,' Sam said as he accepted the bellwether flower that typically signals an extended stay during the season.

In her confessional, Jenn said that Sam had an 'energy' that she was digging.

'This is it,' she said. 'This is the moment that I've kind of been waiting for all night, and I just feel like I want to kiss him. And so I'm gonna do it.'
