We stayed two nights on our trip to the Maritimes. It was a long drive for us up from where we started in Maine and we needed to do laundry. The owner took my cash and assisted me in locating the washing machines and dryer on the property. I was so thankful we did not have to go hunt for a laundry mat after being on the road 1.5 weeks. The room was like a little apartment. It was clean and tastefully decorated showing pride in ownership. We didn't cook much but enjoyed the extra room. We didn't use the pool or hang out at the river because it rained the 2 days were were there. It's in walking distance to Joe's Seafood right down the road. The owner was fabulous in assisting me when I needed to have my covid specimen picked up to send to the lab. Yes, I was one of the lucky ones "randomly selected" for testing when crossing into Canada. The whole process was terribly unorganized and chaotic with the designated vendor which resulted in more effort on my part, and that of the hotel owner. I can't thank him enough for stepping up for us while we were on vacation. A hotel is more than a room. Thank you. We'll be back if we ever venture into Canada again!

We were greeted in the most welcoming manner which is always a great way to start. The room was well fitted, the water pressure was great, and the bed was very comfortable - firm but not too firm. The chairs outside each unit was a relaxing addition and gave guests a chance to say 'hello' as people walked by or or engage in longer conversations. A small but inviting outdoor pool was available with chairs for lounging. The grounds included a communal fire pit and bbq's for guests use. Only a few minutes from the lovely area of North Rustico and Stanhope. Would definitely stay again.

We had a one-night stay booked here, upon arrival we were greeted warmly and checked into our room easily. Our room was clean and well appointed. Everything has been updated, the beds were comfy and the AC worked great. My daughter loved the clean and sunny pool. The playground area and fire pit were a lovely touch. I wish we had more time with nearby beaches and great restaurants, you won’t regret staying here.

If I could give more then 5 stars, I would! Larry and Mark are incredible hosts and so accommodating! And the motel is fabulous! We got married just down the road and most friends/family stayed at the Pines. The rooms and cottages are perfect and our suite was beautiful!! We hosted a bbq one night since we had most of the place rented and they were happy for us to do so…and even joined us! We had pushed our wedding and reservations at the motel 3 times, not to mention, we changed people in the rooms several times and they were so patient with us! The location is great - not too far from bakeries, restaurants and the liquor store. And, the grounds with the fire pit and pool was just perfect. We will be back! Highly recommended!!

We had the entire resort booked the night of my son's wedding. The Pines is a perfect spot for a group to gather. We had a very enjoyable pre-wedding barbeque the night before. The grounds are spacious with tables, chairs, barbecues and a play area for the kids. And a beautiful view.
The wedding was originally scheduled for 2020 and had to be postponed twice due to COVID. Larry was amazingly accommodating in dealing with all the changes, cancellations and updates. The location and great hosts made the weekend a huge success.

What can I say, I don’t have the words to describe how wonderful our stay was! The owners and staff were so friendly and helpful. The place was so clean and neat. Very comfortable beds, cable tv with excellent programming, nice hot showers and very clean washrooms and a very nice pool. They welcome dogs as well so we were able to bring our baby with us. The grounds were well maintained with plenty of seating and a giant fire pit. They even provided bbq’s for us to use and they kept the propane filled. There was even a small playground for the kids. If you are ever in PEI and are looking for an affordable, clean, comfortable and friendly place to go then this is it. This site only lets you rate 5 stars, they’re at least a 10!!!!!! Oh, and I can’t forget to mention the beautiful view of the water!!! Thank you so much Larry and Mark for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable!!!!!!

The owner Larry is so nice and welcoming. He is also perfectly bilingual. We rented a cottage. It was much better than anticipated. It was very clean and well decorated. Pool was very nice and warm. There is also a common fire pit which is great. It is possible to see stars at night. It is near the town of North Rustico which is very charming with it's boardwalk by the water. The only downside thing was the internet. It was slow and not working so well. Thanks for the wonderful stay !

Amazing well kept property spacious clean rooms. The owners go above and beyond customer service is superlative!!! The grounds are lovely and they think of everything and if you need anything they are right there! I will only ever stay here again it's in a great location and so peaceful and picturesque. Thank you for making our one night so lovely....

This was a FANTASTIC venue and even better hosts! We attended a wedding in PEI (our first time on the island) and the bride and grooms family and friends took over most of this beautiful resort. Our cabin was perfect, it had everything we needed and the view was SPECTACULAR! The hosts, however, were by far the best part of this stay. Mark was fantastic in communicating with us in regards to our reservations (that had been changed three times due to Covid) and Larry was so kind and accommodating when we arrived. They even gave the bride and groom a gift for their wedding and joined us at our barbeque! It was the perfect spot and closed to bigger cities, but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet and I would highly recommend.

Cabin is so cute! Perfect location, very peaceful and close to local beaches, etc. Larry was so kind and accommodating - the Cabin we stayed in was also very clean and modern. Will definitely be going back! :)
